further corruption progression allows for special service scene at the "big" tables when condition is met.
I don't know how I missed that, but my "mood" bar never went above 60%-ish, so maybe thats why. Not sure what you need to do in order to get all of that triggered.

wya whats up with games nowadays with viruses on them here?:( is it really false positives?
Most software these days relies on a very top down 'MS or Apple sign the software or else it's basically satan' approach to first detection. Because day zero exploits exist and there's no such thing as a secure OS everyone's adopted a 'shoot first' approach to 'is this a virus?'

Although there would absolutely be concerns over an established author uploading nefarious software after they get hacked, it isn't terribly likely because the hackermans of the internet are not pooling their effort to go after horny weirdos on a porn game website. They want clout and they want money and you get neither in a place like this. There's more money to be had elsewhere and there's bigger fish to catch if your oddly specific attempt to gain e-cred is to hack porn sites.

If it's really a concern and you want to go extra-extra on your security, use a secondary computer (you don't need anything special to run RPG maker games and RENPY VN's) or virtualize an OS to run the game in.

small note : this V doesn't have much on it .. we wait a lot of time for not much at all feel kinda disappointment
(though a lot of these indie devs do kinda bring it on themselves by drip feeding content at such a slow rate it often feels like a scam, and many get so deep into the weeds on feature creep rather than just finishing the game it's absurd)

It's uploaded for free. The developer makes about 4,000 USD per month which.... isn't actually enough for this kind of production. It's just enough to live on, assuming they live in a low COL part of the country / world but after Patreon's cut and taxes it's only about 40,000 USD annually after federal taxes. The game gets roughly two substantive status posts per month on the patreon, and the dev does seem to want to actually make a GAME instead of a long procession of smut pictures loosely tied together with dialogue.

You don't have to like it but you shouldn't complain about the pace of development for a game that you're not an active financial backer to. And even if you were a financial contributor, LJG is providing status updates regularly on their patreon. You are right that it's frequently a problem for crowd funded games to suddenly slow development the minute it becomes something the developer / team can live off full time but that's not actually the case here.

peoples do whatever they want with their disposable incomes, it's not about money, it's a matter of rewarding good behaviour, as a dev myself i know for a fact that at least 60% -ish of my support come from f95, but you're absolutely right when you say he's not making a lot, especially when you compare him to scammers like S-Purple and Dark Cookie, giving all devs a bad reputation.

There's more money to be had elsewhere and there's bigger fish to catch if your oddly specific attempt to gain e-cred is to hack porn sites.
sharing pedoporn is reason enough.

If a stripper mini game is added (which I really hope it is) it would have to be before she starts letting all the chuds and cyborgs grope her all the time. Or else she won't be the least bit shy and it won't make sense for corruption.

If you're really worried about viruses, setting up VirtualBox is easy enough and almost 100% safe against whatever virus you care to name. I can guarantee the kind of uberhacker CIA-trained cyberwar masters that can crack through a VM are not making viruses they put in games on tiny porn sites.

if the mood bar is being capped at that amount, then yes it's simply just corruption that needs to go higher. You'll get a scene and then the next time you do the minigame you'll find the mood bar nearly maxes out and occasionally you'll be able to do the "special service". afaik it's 100 corruption

This and this, fully agreed.

If you can't pay for the real deal you can at least be patient.

DP isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be but you're also not entitled to someone else's labor just because you can't / don't want to pay. The reality is that most eroges don't even break even on the cost of investment, and most projects aren't things like CoC, an Alicesoft release, or Fek. If you don't give people room to make a buck off their work in this oddly specific industry don't be surprised when the market is flooded with AI slop games and services like Nutaku that are way worse about extracting money from customers.
It always surprises me how entitled people get when they're being given something for free.

Like, christ, it's like two weeks of waiting to not have to pay for a game. Cool your jets and stop thinking everyone is obligated to bend over backwards just to suit your immediate needs. Go play something else, there's 50000 games on this site.

I just wish more developers would sell me their games, rather than forcing me to choose between piracy or a subscription model. I really really want to give them my money, if they are willing to sell me a product, but I will not under any circumstances lease access to bloody single player game. Treat me like a customer and you'll get my money. Treat me like a sucker and I'll pirate the game instead.

Neither are the fifty billion early access games on Steam that people buy, fully aware that they are getting a game that is still in development. What do you imagine the reaction would be if every single Steam early access game's "Buy" option was removed and replaced with a "Pay a montly fee to access this game" option?

I absolutely agree, but porn games are such a small niche, that most real devs will never touch it with a ten foot pole.

Which leaves you with mainly first time single devs + maybe an artist or two, who often would rather do more respectable stuff, too.

And as they lack funds from previous projects and lack experience and tools, they can't get money upfront from a publisher/bank. And self publishing on steam is too much work/risk early into development (and since Steam doesn't want to put in the extra work to comply with non-US law, you usually can't even sell your game in countries like Germany).

That said, some of the more successful matured projects will occasionally break into the steam game at some point - but most projects will either never be finished or never get released on steam.

So if you're a perv and someone is catering to your needs - and you want them to continue, there sadly aren't many options. I support some projects from time to time, but I'm not spending ~$100 per year on a single game in very early access.
But I'm happy some people are. :p

Considering the dev is on this site, I don't think this is even really pirating. You're yelling at a nothingburger.

The part I object to is the deliberate choice to not do both. Itch.io has a perfectly straightforward option to sell ongoing access to an easily updated download for a single payment. No need to involve Steam at all. All it would take is to update the itch.io download at the same time as the patreon download.

Considering the dev is on this site, I don't think this is even really pirating. You're yelling at a nothingburger.
I'm not yelling at anything. It is possible to state opinions and bring up issues without raging and foaming at the mouth about it.

It's not the point of finishing a game, it's earning money every month.

reminder that Anyx made his game in 2 years with an average of 60 animations added every month, when you have the pretense of "working" on something, you work, 8 hours a day 5 days a week, I can assure you productions would be much different if "devs" would actually sweat a little.

clowns are always too happy to hop in the cattle wagon, everyone forgot what it look like when someone actually put some effort into something.

Unless there's an open-night where the other girls on the rooftop come try it out, or another woman ends up stranded like the FMC. I could see the pawnshop owner getting corrupted to try it out at current levels with anger-trepidation, not really shyness. Then the mechanic girls would have one super shy and one explosive out of nowhere. Like the one with a drinking problem could substitute the attention she gets from stripping for drinking, cause she said she started getting hooked on drinking out of the social aspect of it, and the AI promised to never offer her a drink. I would actually be sads if she got back on the sauce, lol.

So, uh, it's been busy here.
I release the game for free because I don't want to lock the content behind a paywall. The game isn't finished. I'm constantly making changes and breaking things. Pretty much all the money the game does make goes into art, voice acting, the new pixel art, and the occasional programmer help. If I ever really make any money off this it'll be from a Steam release. I doubt it'll ever be anything more than a fun project that paid for itself. I do intend on finishing the game. I dislike disappointing people and I don't like leaving things unfinished. The game will end and the funding will stop regardless of how much money it's making at that time. I have a reputation to uphold after all. You don't want to burn your bridges by leaving a game unfinished for years and years and years leading people on while getting free money... and...
As for support you can always do a one time donation on Itch, but Patreon does take a smaller cut than Itch does. But really at this stage of development just spreading the word is more than enough.

I have no intention of getting Annica back on the drink again. That's more just story for why the mechanics might avoid the bar. Long term that rent increase will be causing everyone to look for new sources of income. But May will have her own issues with her security staff no longer settling for the occasional down blouse shot...
