Chud is another term of Chad because of soyboys doesn't like them CHADThe art is cute, but wtf is a "chud" and why are they (?) swarming?
Maybe chud is like chum in cyberpunk 2077Chud is another term of Chad because of soyboys doesn't like them CHAD
Am I doing it right?
No, the game has 80's references, CHUDS are "Cannibalistic Underground Humanoid Dwellers".Chud is another term of Chad because of soyboys doesn't like them CHAD

For its time a great B-movie, and a staple and many of the overnight schlock-athons I used to go to.No, the game has 80's references, CHUDS are "Cannibalistic Underground Humanoid Dwellers".

Why the fuck would you face palm this comment? It is too fucking dark not all of us have 20/20 fucking eyesight! I have to wear fucking glasses and I can't barely see the damn character! Seriously make a way to fucking brighten the damn screen of the game.WHY THE FUCK IS EVERYTHING SO FUCKING DARK! I can't barely see anything on the fucking screen!
I plan on avoiding getting too dark. In general, Catherine will always enjoy what she's doing. If there is a bigger focus on humor, I assume it won't get like really brutal/mindbroken (without getting a gameover) later on?
Once I have all of the systems fully pinned down I will look into a kind of "easy" mode to allow people to skip things they aren't enjoying.LimeJuiceGames - I am enjoying the game. If I may make a suggestion (unless I missed it), but in Slugs and Bugs: Conversion, I set it so that the player can skip the battles if they want at the end of each day. I'd suggest an option under Item maybe or something like that that is infinite use and simply ends in a "instant win" or even where it just skips it when we go to tend bar. I am interested in a lot of the story and characters, but that game part I personally think is innovative, but also, not my cup of chud tea.
Anyway, wishing you the best of success!
While I don't plan on getting too dark with the game, I do plan on having lots of action for Catherine once things really ramp up.Enjoying the hell out of this one so far. I hope Catherine goes right off the deep end into hardcore fetish territory as her brain gets broken.
I can also darken up the background of the text if need be. Right now I'm just testing things as I go. So the colors might change if they are too hard to read. I spent many hours looking for just the right music. I'm hoping people will enjoy the Waitress music and the Lounge music once those are implemented.M'developer,LimeJuiceGames, this game is the bee's knees (and bees have six knees, so you know it's legit) and I had a lot of fun in it so far.
Bar-tending is pretty nifty and has some groovy music. I look forward to seeing how it's going to develop from here.
If I could share a few thoughts on the project, there's a few easy little things that might make a big difference.
Larger bar patron text comments: As of now, it's your only interaction from bar patrons. Let us look into it a bit more. You've even got some drip-feeding of lore, and I missed it the first few times around. Also maybe not have Catherine's text be blue on the faint purple background.More interaction with the social menu: Related to the previous comment, having buttons you press and forget for a few turns isn't as engaging as it could be. Interact with the patrons. If a Chud gives some small talk towards Catherine "You ever wonder what other rooftops are like?" or other comment or question, responding with small talk that turn would have the buff last a longer duration. Similar to answering with flirting to horny comments, and some magic tricks to boredom. It would add some responsiveness to the bartending.Interaction with other store-owners: You may already have this one planned, but it would be nice to see a Chat option with the store-owners. Just a single line influenced by corruption levels as a measurement of advancement in the story. Alexa can be snooty and horny, the twins can talk about why they don't leave the rooftop, or the Chud King can go full white-knight and tell you what your salacious acts are doing to his subjects' demeanor! Maybe even have M'fedora finally be able to say a word to you without spilling spaghetti all over himself. They're all just suggestions, but they'd definitely make the game feel more interactive.
Oh, and I was being 100% serious about the music. I've been grooving to it while typing out this little Ted-Talk.
Corrupting the other roof dwellers is planned. More sexy content in the mini game is in the works right now.I liked it, wrote a review. If I had a wish list for this game, it would look like this:
- Corruption of other rooftop girls and Amanda, with him turning the tables on them. I'd like to see IO figure out a way to "train" the other girls without their awareness, based on what he's learned with Catherine.
- Hentai content during bar mini-game, including some REAL service.
- Repeatable content with enough corruption, with a variety of scenes, ideally with changes in dialog (implying further corruption) upon repeating.
If this turns into a linear turd, where all scenes follow a set sequence then disappear, I'm going to be severely disappointed.
The bar and the bedroom are the darkest zones in the game. Can you see just fine in the other areas? Is just the bar your issue? It wouldn't be amazingly hard to give an option to lighting up the game for people having problems with the light level. Why the fuck would you face palm this comment? Yes very hard to see and I found out why it seems that RPG Maker has a major bug that they have refused to fix and that is that it detects as HDR so if you have a high end system with HDR Monitor support the screen is too dark. Right now requires turning off HDR which is not practical. Do you think you can test with HDR than create a setting toggle for brightness for those with HDR?The bar and the bedroom are the darkest zones in the game. Can you see just fine in the other areas? A Gamma setting/equivalent would be nice. This isn't the worst game with dark areas I've played lately, but it can be annoying to move around the bar and backroom and see what you're doing. The bar and the bedroom are the darkest zones in the game. The last scene is at corruption 35 and it's a shower scene. And the after bar scenes will say "placeholder" when you're done with them.reached day 30
that's the end of this version?
