succumate - how to win the fidget spinner battles?

with the game beeing japanese only, its a bit hard to figure out how to do the fidget spinner battles. i know you can attack/defend once you have 200... whatever. "mana" lets call it that, but what button do i press? i tried pretty much every button.

isn't it a combination of left then right click? like the running minigame in "pampered kid"?
