Ren'Py - Summer Breeze [Ch.3 P2] [XFantasy Studio]

A bit surprised about the other votes. Honestly it is too early to really give a good rating for this novel. It ends after less than 30 mins. But the quality of the character drawings is very good, the first interaction between the male MC and one of the ladies shows that also animation is good. For the storyline we have to see, to less content to do a fair judgement now. But there are a lot of interactions between different people possible, so let's give the creators the time to come up with more content for our ratings.

Version reviewed Ch.3 P2

A poorly written, messy soap opera about two families that go on holiday together. The single mothers are attracted to each other and the kids are all horny and into everyone, including the parents.

The story then takes an abrupt twist when it introduces a shady character about half way through the story, leading the reader to assume that the game will become darker as the story progresses.

Pros:

1- Decent renders and set designs.

2- Nice looking characters. I really liked both of the milfs.

3- The sex animations were pretty nice.

Cons:

1- The story is very average and uninspired. The kids lust for their siblings, milfs turning lesbian, evil character thrown in for effect. There is nothing new here.

2- Possibly the worst dialogue I have ever seen. It's obvious that the dev's native language is not English, but why was this not proof read?
There are so many errors that it becomes a chore to even decipher what is going on. Missing commas, periods and numerous misspellings throughout the story.

3- The cut scenes were distracting. Unsure if there was a problem using black screens and dissolve, but there were too many awkward scene changes.

Final thoughts-

Unless you like the particular character models this game is not worth the bother in it's present state. It sorely needs a complete re-write as there are way too many errors in the dialogue to make this even mildly enjoyable. As the game so aptly states, it's completely "Offcourse".

For now this is a demo so maybe there's time to correct course, if there's a will.

For starters, writing is terrible. It's not only that the English translation -I mean, I *hope* this is a machine translation- needs urgent proofreading, but some dialogues and scenes don't make much sense, like the kissing scene with Jasmine. If she's confused she wouldn't go that far (especially when she later thinks of the MC as "some guy"), and if she's not she wouldn't run away after the deed.

Hailey's eyes and the appearance of Jas' brother need urgent care. Those eyes are about to drop to the floor in some scenes, and the kid looks totally out of place next to these girls. It's like all the beauty was for his mother and he was designed with the leftovers.

The female models in general look good but need more expressions. Arianna in particular has this weird smile most of the time like that's her default expression and it barely changes. Why would she be smiling while requesting another bed?

Robotic animations have to improve or be removed completely. That walking scene with Hailey is absolutely terrible, and she spurting milk when she cums? Unless she suffers from galactorrhea that's pure fan service.

I guess the story itself is serviceable but these problems need to be addressed for this to go anywhere. Arianna's tits alone won't magically make this a success.

This game feels like it is at the same time trying to, cater the harem crowd and also trying to create more complicated relationships where anyone can end up fucking anyone. Problems is that it has all the harem game´s problems, without any of the benefits. There are few games like this, where other male characters are either comedic relief eunuchs or super mega baddies.
Overview on front site does talk about some grand murder mystery, but if I read it right, the first release was Feb 5, 2024. And there isn't even the beginning of that murder thing in the game yet.

Visually game looks really good. I like that women have different looks and that not every woman has model face. Only important thing is that every woman has somewhat sexy body, and they sure do in this game. There is no sex scenes between characters yet, but maybe after few more updates.

Absolutely terrible animation. If I never see another woman 'walk' like that again, i'll still have seen it too many times.

Obviously no understanding of women whatsoever. The teenage girl who suddenly has grossly inflated boobs when the bra comes off, squirts milk when she cums, and she cums over the thought that she is attractive. Utterly cringe and right at the beginning of the story, which sets the tone. We witness it all like a dream sequence of course, because we're actually nothing to do with the scene.

So we have established the writing is extra poor but the renders are very good. The LI models aren't bad either apart from the needlessly stretched body parts.

Overall it will be playable if youre one of the 2% who thinks btba is attractive, but you'll have to play it for the visuals not the story. The way the women act completely destroys any chance at immersion

If you like forced stuff and no choices you can try, otherwise - stay away from this. 1 star

I really enjoyed the demo, Great renders/models/lighting/environment.
The dialog could do with a little bit of tweaking but overall well done.

Short summary:


It’s a demo, but not a very promising one. We know the renders will be decent, writing will be shit and characters will not be developed.



Good Things

• Some models are hot, but appear for like 1 frame
• Renders are detailed, but there isn’t much to them

Bad points

• Super short
• Bad writing
• Mom model isn’t compelling

Mom looks like a mom. The family dynamic is realistic. The art is lovely. The animations are rather cinematic. The multiple view points is the way to go. I hope we get to stretch the sister's asshole and taste the mom's saliva. love it

V. demo

i will be kind and give it an average rating, despite it failing to deliver anything remotely like the description in overview.

full stops and commas are in short supply. the writer is already feeling the effects of this international shortage. luckily for you reading, i have a decent stockpile.

on the positives, it IS a VN as tagged, unlike the growing number of recent games on this site also tagged as such but include point-and-click/freeroam/puzzle crap that is anything but a VN.
well, i say (er..post actually) VN but there is very little here to show that the N will get much of a look in. but i have not marked it down for that as the benefit of the doubt clause is in play.
visually it is good. not much to see yet but what IS here in this short demonstration is well above average.

no hook. read that overview and then played it and gained zero interest. it is so run-of-the-mill for this site, it's like looking at a grain of sand on the beach.
it's only standout feature is in future hopes that members will get the content they want, rather than demonstrate what they WILL get.
it's just set of pretty pictures with some boring writing. for me, as a demo, it fails.
miserably.

personal taste aside, hence the rating, if the developer gets a better writer and starts to deliver something less bland, then it may turn out alright.
to me a visual novel should start like a decent movie or tv series, with an opening to pull the reader/viewer in, just like the best VN's do.

Review for Demo

In general, I think a good demo/first release is one that hooks you enough into wanting to see more of the game. Did this accomplish that? Not really.

The immediate problem is the English. Pretty obvious it's coming from someone who does not primarily speak the language considering how the dialogue is rife with grammatical errors, spelling mistakes (along with abbreviations like "omg") and just has an overall very stilted feel to it. This isn't a jab at someone not speaking a language perfectly, but as an English player it's pretty important to me that the dialogue reads well.

I think lesbian stuff is going to be a common theme here. You actually start the game from the perspective of you mom and her friend, named Stella. We see a flashback of a pool party where they are dancing with growing sexual tension, and then get interrupted as they are about to kiss. Back in real time the two are catching up and you are given a choice for Stella to grab the moms ass. The demo also ends with the daughter about to walk in on the mom masturbating. I like lesbian stuff so it's fine for me, but I know not everyone feels that way. Hard to say how optional it will be at present.

The rest of the game is pretty generic so far. MC returns from college, we get some normal familial banter, have a family dinner, and then cut to the MC having woken up from bed having cummed in his pants from a wet dream?? We don't see this dream mind you, but I think the whole point was for this to allow the mom to sniff your cum filled boxers, which she does, and the she gets so horny she starts to masturbate because of it. Feels very contrived more than anything.

The game just doesn't feel very well thought out based on the demo. I know next to nothing about the MC, or any of the characters really, or where any of the plot is trying to go. I'll give some points for the models having some unique faces and the mom having boob veins (hot), but there's no other positive aspects to mention.

Super early and pretty short, but I did not end this demo thinking this has potential. So far, another generic incest game to add to the ever-growing list.
