Requires SummerInHeat with BepInEx installed (I used the HF patch).
  1. Download
    You must be registered to see the links
    from GitHub
  2. Extract the contents of the zip into \GameData\BepInEx
  3. Launch the game once. A config file should generate in \GameData\BepInEx\config, named raicuparta.uuvr-modern.cfg
  4. Open the cfg file. I had to tweak some settings to make it work, replace all the text in the cfg file with the provided settings, then save

5. Connect your headset to your PC, but do not put it on, otherwise the menus may just be a black screen (I'm using a Quest 2)​
6. Launch SummerInHeat.exe like normal, the menus should still show on your monitor. If you are getting a black screen, remove your headset​
7. Go to Free H, select your character, position, and map​
8. Once the scene is fully loaded, put on your headset.​
9. Press L to lock the camera to main character POV and X/C to start the scene. Enjoy SummerInHeat in VR!​

ISSUES:​
  • Story mode and Character creation do not function while the mod is installed.
  • There is no way to navigate the UI in VR, you must rely on keyboard shortcuts.
  • The default cfg settings give a black screen on launch.
    • I have provided a tweaked cfg file to get it functional, but someone with more knowledge may figure out better settings down the line.

Got the VR to work using this, for those having issues it does not appear to work with SteamVR or Virtual Desktop. you need to set the default VR runtime as Metas OpenXR in the Meta Link app on the PC, if it's not already set there should be a blue banner at the top which asks you to set it as default.

Once that's set connect to the PC using Airlink, turn the headset off/let it go to sleep, Open the games EXE (or add the game as an app to Meta Link and launch from there), select what you want to do and let it load, once loaded wake the headset back up and it should work. This probably also works over link cable but not tested.

There are no controls for the VR controllers so everything is controlled via keyboard shortcuts.

No idea if there's any way to get it functional on non-meta headsets, I suspect it something to do with SteamVR and VD attempting to wake the headset before the app starts.

i think there was a post about the dev taking a slight break from the game to fix his personal life problems since i cant read japanese it was on Ci-en (the miconisomi's dev article kinda)

Does anyone know if they plan on adding any future content updates? Cause with their latest post it seems like they dont plan on updating the game at all, which is extremely disappointing considering the big lack of content. And the game still doesn't have a studio mode so it looks like most modders won't really look into this game.
