Some of the routes are yes, there was to many routes, and ended a few of them, the scope of the game became to big.

He also re-did a lot of the content as well.

Scene 29.

It is taking forever. I progressed through the shots and I'm now at shot #267. But I now have 7 characters in the scene and posing so many figures takes hours. I don't pose all seven of them every time, as I'm not a true masochist, but it still takes a lot of time.



I still have 47 shots in my storyboard and I'll have to build that set I talked about a few dev updates ago, in order to pose the last few images. It's going to be a lot of work, but I hope to be able to finish everything next week as I'll have a bit more time available. The set should be relatively simple to build, as it's more or less about simplifying and assembling the various sets that constitute the ground floor of the Archer Estate. Fingers crossed I don't encounter any unsolvable issues. I can't imagine any, at the moment, but life always finds a way to surprise you.



The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 5 will contain 2 new scenes: scenes 28 and 29.
  • Day 6 Part 5 will contain 1 reworked scene: Day 2, scene 2.
  • Day 6 scene 28 has been written, posed, and is mostly rendered.
  • Day 6 scene 29 has been written and is currently being posed.
  • 16 315 words of new content so far.
  • 496 shots are planned, 449 are posed, and 265 are rendered.
  • I'm currently posing scene 29.

happy to see an update on the horizon but I wonder how I will play the next update without the return of sancho because his mod is excellent for testing all the routes

Scene 29.

Mediocre progress this week. I couldn't do everything I wanted despite having a bit more time at my disposal. Building that mega set for the ground floor has proven more difficult than I expected. I naively thought I could simply slap all the set into one file, expunge the useless elements, adjust the position of everything a little bit, and that it would be fine. Of course, I was wrong.

The geometry of the room doesn't fully fit the geometry of the house, and if it's not an issue when using 1-room sets, it is jarring when putting everything together. I ended up rebuilding most of the rooms to come up with something roughly usable as long as I'm careful with my camera angles. I'm not yet done with the lighting, I have to rebuild it from scratch too. I hoped to be able to use that mega set for all the lobby / hallway / laundry room scenes but I'll have to change my plans. The geometry of the stairs just doesn't fit well and I have to hide them for the hallway to be usable. We'll agree that it's a problem. But it's ok. I'll keep using my old set for that part. As long as I can shoot the hallway + laundry sequences as I want to, it will be ok. I have some important scenes coming that will use that set and more than the few shots that will use it in scene 29, it is for these future scenes that I'm building it.



I still have a few hours of work on that set to come up with a usable lighting solution, and about 15 shots to pose. I think I can finish that in two days. Then I'll most likely get to coding. I need to give these scripts a proper shape before I send them to my beloved proofreaders.

Does anyone know what the DualDom path means and how to trigger it? Is the MC being dommed by his sister and her friend?

If I remember correctly: MC dominates his sister but is dominated by her friend, the friend discovers the relationship between MC and sister and gets angry but then decides to join them and let herself be dominated by MC

i was curious about this one but i suddenly saw the tag "Femdom" and i'm like.....nope....i could tolerate if the main protag isn't the target of it but that is HIGHLY unlikely -.-

It is optional and avoidable. Only appears on certain tracks.

I feel like I've done every path, and still can't get several achievements. Day 1-3 is done, 4 has 3 uncompleted and 4 and 5 have a handful.

yep, excactly my game experience! I think I tried every option possible on both paths but still haven´t unlock any gallery or reward pics, don´t know if it´s a bug or if I do something wrong... and how I feel we need a walktrough or a hint system added to the game that tells on how to unlock them.

I finished posing Scene 29.

Rendering is still ongoing slowly but it should progress steadily. Scene 28 has been coded, I'm still working on coding scene 29. After some random QC, I found some faulty details in scene 28 that I will need to correct, but nothing too worrying. Scene 28 has been sent to my proofreaders, I should be able to finish coding scene 29 and send it for correction on Monday. Tuesday will probably be dedicated to correcting scene 28.



I'll start working on Day 2 Scene 2 on Wednesday.

The original scene is very short. Barely a thousand words for about 30 shots. The reworked version will most likely be longer but I don't expect it to wildly grow out of control. The perimeter of the scene and its content are pretty clear. As always for the rework, It will play the same, but feel better. I aim to improve, not to change. The story will stay the same, Jack will still go meet Eve in her bedroom, and he should have some similar choices and options at his disposal. The original scene was short, the reworked one will be short too. I don't think I'll need more than three weeks to finish it (To be honest, I even hope to have some time to spare for some other tasks).

Day 6 Scene 29 is still rendering.

As always I render at night, and do quality control and correction during the day if needed. I had a few shots to correct and rerun this week, in both scenes 28 and 29 but nothing dramatic. A couple of shots came out pretty noisy in the most recent batch. We'll see how it plays during the post-processing phase. If it doesn't go well, maybe I'll rerun them with 25,000 iterations. I don't really have any other options anyway.

Aside from that, rendering is progressing. Shot #192 has been rendered, 120 shots to go.



Both scenes 28 and 29 have been coded.

And proofread.



I'm still rewriting Day 2 Scene 2.

The new version of the scene is 1750 words long so far and covers about 65 % of the original scene so far. I don't think I'll cross the 2500-word threshold.

The scene has now a proper introduction and conclusion, and makes a lot more sense, in my opinion. It's consequences too.

I think I need a day or two to finish it. I haven't made any cut yet but I don't think we'll go over 80 shots to pose.
