You mean Subscribestar, there is no Patreon. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be? Steam doesn't care about incest, rape, blackmail and so on. Only thing he had to change was the movies playing in the living room in the background due to copyright.

Most games on Steam are compatible save wise with their counterparts on other sites like Itch/GOG/SS/Boosty/Patreon/Unifans.

Slowly getting back to work.

That was a pretty slow week. I made limited progress on the posing front. The last twenty shots were pretty difficult to pose, with a lot of contact and interactions. It should be easier from now on and I expect to progress a bit faster, especially as I should also have more time available next week.

I'm still pretty bad at animating stuff. I just finished rendering animation #2 for the second time. It doesn't look bad, but it feels weirdly slow. I'm not sure it's a question of speed however. I'm not sure what to do with it.

I still need to work on animation #1 again, and restart it from scratch. The more I think about the animation situation, the more I'm scared of actually diminushing the value of the game with subpar animations. Maybe I'll make them optionnal through a switch in the preference screen, so that the player who don't want to endure them can get a decent experience through stills only. I know it's a weird stance, but I do think that some players might be interested.

Rendering is progressing nicely. The renders honestly look good, in my opinion. That's one more reason to worry about the quality of the animations.

Steam.

I still won't talk about the sales, as I think it's a bit too soon. However, I couldn't help noticing a dramatic increase in the wishlists since the release. I wonder if it can have an impact on Steam's algorithm now that the game is available. I couldn't find a definitive answer to that question.


The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 6 will contain 3 new scenes: scenes 30, 31, and 32.
  • Day 6 Part 6 will contain 1 reworked scene: Day 2, scene 3.

Is there an updated walkthrough guide for the game? The lighthouse mode isn't the most helpful for achievement hunting, whether that be the in-game achievements/render gallery or Steam achievements. I'm missing 10 Steam achievements, 11 in-game ones are blacked out and a bunch have pictures but are still grey without the filled in star and you can't click them to see renders (I have no idea what that indicates).

Scene 30

Some decent progress this week. I had a bit more time than usual to work on the game and managed to reach shot #128. I have 21 shots left on my list. I should be able to finish the posing next week, and even rework that first animation I've left behind.

Animations

Speaking about animations, animation #2 is still rendering. 31 frames out of 60 are ready to be processed. I'm rendering each frame like my still, which is most likely as stupid as useless. I have yet to find the appropriate balance between speed and quality. It will take some time before I get a grasp on that sweet spot. It doesn't help that I have a pretty high aversion to noise. In the context of animation, however, I should be able to go a little harder on the denoiser. Which should allow me to lower the iteration count.

Post-processing

I still haven't found a way to post-process my images in batch. I haven't invested much time in that search. I have to seriously get to it as I will soon need to post-process my renders. I don't want to wait for the last moment, as I usually do, as the more images there are, the more excruciatingly boring and painful it gets.

The 83 renders is what he produced since the last update and not since the last devlog right?

I just cant take this seriously, the dev puts SO MUCH work in everything around this avn just when its about producing the actual avn barely anything happens at all.

Scene 30

Posing... is done. All the still have been posed and I reworked animation #1. It still needs some refining but I'm almost there. Just like Animation #2, I aimed for a much shorter and simpler loop. It's not perfect, but it will work. I'm a bit worried about the end results, in-game, once the whole thing will be post processed and integrated. Fingers crossed it's not going to be utterly disgusting.

I still haven't found any new ways to post-process the images. I've looked into some options but nothing convinced me so far and I didn't push my research very far. I'll try to take care of it this week and post-process everything.

Scene 31

I'm looking at my notes as I will start writing the scene this week. Unless I find any new idea and change my mind, the scene should be short but intense. As I already mentioned, this update will be about Eve's Love path, the Dual Love path, and the Weird Triangle path. Scene 31 is the Dual Love segment.

WTF this was another NOTHING update! How many fucking paths are there? Working 1 path at a time sucks dead donkey ass - it can be YEARS before seeing anything new and by then it's gone from memory. Nobody wants to start over and go through all the blueball shit again.

I noticed that game calls a check on day 3, whether you fingered/kissed/rejected your sister Eve.

Do you have any idea how to reach fingering scene in Ep2 ???
Ep2 is the night where MC and Eve and Cassie have Drink or Truth game.

PS: Also last updates were very disappointing. Almost no new noteworthy content.

Pretty sure you have to be on Eve's sub path to finger her at that point.
