Ren'Py - Completed - Summer with Mia [S1 v1.5.2 Steam] [Inceton]

Like everyone else said already, as of act 3 the game goes to shit. Personality changes, forced unlikeable storyline and sort of forced scenes. I saw that this game was redone and completed so i gave it a try. Honestly if i had to wait halfway for updates i would ve already dropped it. Its a shame how the game has concluded.

Summer with Mia is an unapologetically over the top romp, that manages to walk the line between exaggeration and engagement.

Summer with Mia is not trying to provide a believably-paced story progression, nor does it completely abandon all ties to reality. You constantly find yourself in absurd lewd situations, yet still manage to become engaged in these characters and the relationships that arise.

Mia is one of the most memorable characters I have ever come across playing these games, and perfectly encapsulates everything right about Summer with Mia. While overly 'accentuated' for the player's enjoyment, still provides a meaningful character to connect to, ultimately leading to one of the greatest endings to a game I have ever played.

Summer with Mia is as good a game as I have found on this website and easily deserves a 5 star review.

Until Act 3 the game was good and exciting then it became shit.

-Hot looking female characters
-fun story at first without dramas
-good balance between teasing and sex scenes, you don't have to wait long before the characters actually does have sex.
-Great sex animated sex scenes

That was my opinion about the game for the first two parts.

Then the story got so messed up and you don't know what's going on anymore. It became pure crap. The characters changed personalities all of a sudden. They did things without reasons (at least one i could understand)
It wasn't exciting anymore and I just wanted the game to end.

I wasted hours to see the pathetic ending. Nothing is resolved with this ending and the easy going and fun game of the start became a tragedy. You just don't know what the MC wants. He just goes with the flow and it ddn't end well for him.

Also, it isn't really a game because you just skip dialogues without making any choice or searching what you have to do next. You just press "ENTER" over and over again. Fantastic!

My advice, go play something else.

the games introduction was really great but the ending felt a little flat, animation and renders were great, good sense of humor. the characters development seems to need some improvements but overall it's a good game and i would recommend it a try

the fact you only get that sad ending where mia leaves you a note is.............BULLSHIT!!! i want a love ending....this game blew my brains out and sandbox yeah right, you get fucking forced into events you want to avoid like bruh come on.

Nice game with engaging story.
Its final version still has some minor details that could be fixed, i.e. frequent typos/orthographic errors, and at least once the wrong name appears on a speech (instead of the MC's name).

Long story short: The game starts out good, and then completely flops in the final act. If you wanna try it I recommend stopping after Act 2, or halfway through Act 3, and unless the devs improve their story and character writing I might not bother playing any of their other games after this. Good renders/models, good sex scenarios, good potential, but the story and "character development(or lack thereof) ruins it halfway through.

Really great and entertaining game to pick up, where sadly my score does it no justice, but that's because of how great the game started out, options, choices and very few forced situations that weren't too bad.
Disappointingly enough, the dev decided to completely shit on past options and choices and just go full on force-mode with everything. Things you chose as how you'd like the game to proceed, are completely neglected and ignored, since at the end he forces those things to happen anyway.

For me this game ended after MC and "landlady" at the motel and will not continue the game from thereon- that's just me tho.

Game was pretty good overall, just gonna list down what I personally found good and bad about it.
+ Character models are hot, especially Mia and the MC's mom.
+ Animations are nice.
+ Music and sound effects in certain areas.
+/- Story is well paced but some parts are just plain stupid, an example of this would be the doctor part for the morning after pill, lol.
- Characters each have something really annoying about them. MC is a bit of an idiot, Mia can get real slutty way too quick, Emma is cancer, etc.
- Personally did not like the forced sharing. Since I'm fine with things like it being in a game, just as long as it's optional. The fact that the devs thought it was integral to the plot just solidified my criticism of the story.

Basically as I stated previously, it's a pretty good game overall. I really enjoyed the MC's sub plot with his mom and hope that the sequel has the possibility of full pregnancy for both Mia and the mother.

It's midnight and i feel emotionally stirred. Living with Mia was one of my first sex games and it quickly became my top 3 of all time. Still is after the renpy port. I even enjoyed the searches for secrets...finished it twice even(that cave men...). Oh boy was it a different game back then(RIP doggo).
Earlier this year they finally released the continuation of the story in the form part 1 of the act 3 and a renpy port (didn't spoil myself with it...waited till today).
Inceton decided to concetrate purely on the story. I gladly write that they haven't fell into the tropes of mindless harem/incest games were the MC bangs one babe after the other and the girls are just sex dolls without feelings.
In here we have just five actors all perfectly fleshed out. Those five(plus poor Sam) are enough. They all play their roles perfectly.There are plenty of interactions betwen them that keeps pushing the plot forward. The two main heroes, adolescent teenagers give in to their lust desires.The parents and best friends quickly stop being innocent bystanders. Act 1 and 2 are all fun and games. Act 3 is a crash course into adulthood.
We are shown each step of the five character's development.We fully witness their follies.The father represent the stable life more correct socially, while Emma the carnal desires. The siblings are somewhat the younger versions of their parents.While Mia grows up the MC follows the darker path. I trully felt sorry for all of them...except the main hero.
An incest relationship is bound to fail. Someone had to take the blame. In my opinion the developers made the MC too big of an asshole. He became too oblivious in his actions. Too blind for Mia's advances. He switched his mom's pills ,a selfish action from which he was never settled into account. The whole sex addiction was a plot device never taken into consideration in act 3. On top of that the constant lying was becoming to tedious to witness...The pain i felt from reading those was the same pain that grew bigger within the characters which in the end finally came crushing down. A connection betwen the reader and the ingame characters. Astounding. Such is life.
I am stirred because i know that the RPG Living with Mia i became so fond off is not coming back. Just as Mia we need to move on. Should Mia and the MC become a thing in the future. I think not.
In the end the port is a correct decision. Inceton decided to cut out all the useless filler and concentrate on the drama surrounding our five tragic characters(plus the poor Sam). The mature decision is reflected upon a trully mature story.

P.S. Please stop spamming the thread with the NTR hate...There is none. The whole webcam thing is optional, a leftover from the RPG game for the niche players.

- The pacing is satisfying.
- About 6 to 8 hours of content (I consider myself a slow reader).
- Incest content has a weak start but polished with a relatively realistic growth.
- Has pregnancy and contraceptive talks with sister.
- Has sensible humor.
- Has unavoidable light NTR.
- You can fuck every female characters.
- You get to see a glimpse of a sociopathic person in action (Emma).
- MC is emotionally dumb, maybe puberty got his cock thinking for him.
- Has one ending mainly related to MC's romantic relationship with his sister, Mia, with a closure, I think, that is worthy of a sequel.
- SWM 2 is planned.

I'm personally invested in MC - sister (Mia)'s relationship.

I'll start with the good. The models are consistent in quality and quite hot. The only model that could be slightly improved is Mia, her model sometimes seems a little off, but overall i'd still give a 4/5 rating in models. The other great part about the game is the frequency and quality of scenes. While not all scenes are animated, and the ones that are aren't that great, there is an abundance of them, a factor that is very important for a game like this, so scenes get a 4/5 as well.

The bad. Holy shit is the MC terrible. You start of being super perverted and full on rapey (can't get any worse right ?). But these characteristics are nothing compared to what he becomes in chapter 3. By the end of chapter 3 the MC might as well be a vegetable with how passively he acts, he literally does almost nothing, all the situations come to him (this is only helped by the fact that when he is free he is "playing games" which is just the game telling you time is being passed). When his mom , a person the MC clearly likes, is being blackmailed by a crazy bitch, for most of the 3rd chapter, he just goes with it, saying there is nothing that can be done, except there is since he literally solves the issue in the end meaning, again, MC is being a passive idiot. You're relationship with Mia is probably the greatest example of why the MC seems brain dead. Throughout the game you are told multiple times that Mia likes you. Near the end it becomes extremely obvious, to the MC ,that she loves you and even hints that you love her too. But the game continues playing "oh MC is inexperienced therefore he is clueless card". While this card works fairly well in chapter 1, in chapter 3 when he is already quite experienced, the cluelessness and passiveness is taken to such an extreme it makes the MC seem unironically autistic and unable to spot any social cues or properly interact with someone in any meaningful way.

To sum it up, this game had potential, it could have been great but it is completely ruined by what to me is, without a doubt, one of the worst main characters I have ever played as.

Excellent VN with top quality animations, renders, outfits and models. Nice plot, realistic story and erotic atmosphere with very beautiful and sexy characters. A lot of content in an engaging plot but there is only one route to follow without any decisions to take. Mia is one of the hottest characters but MC is somewhere between a personality disorder and a retard. I like a lot that the Devs have adapted a more realistic approach in their story even if some events are childish. MC in the beginning is a total prick and ends as a complete idiot.

Really enjoyed this except for the ending. It says there is more to the story but doubt they are going to make another chapter. While the MC is a total prick in the beginning seeing the changes he goes through to where in my opinion got what he deserved since he was too caught up in all the bullshit to see what was right in front of him. You should definitely give it a try.

This game was great until the the second half of act 3. My God look what they done to my boy. He used to be such a fucking disgusting perverted some would say rapist ... and they turned him into emotional wreck that cant even tell a hoe he likes her for more than sex. Also the game pretty much forces you into fucking your mom. No matter if you want it or not.
Emma is also a complete bitch and the fact that the MC is a pussy and does not pin he to the wall and tell he to fucking leave his family alone or he will tear her ass open with his sometimes elephant sometimes a bit smaller dick was making me extremely mad.
The ending would have been ok if there was not the whole It takes 2 years before you are able to spent another summer with Mia it's like the MC does not know what he wants ... despite him wanting to confess at the end of the game. Mother Fucker if you actually loved her you would fucking do something. But naah you play as a wuss that cant do shit unless it is random acts of sexual harassment.
Kinetic Novel tag should be added to this game. Because the only thing you can do with choices in this game is to skip scenes ... and even then it is not the ones you would want to skip.
The only positive I can say about this game is that for once it puts you into the role of the Bull in the classic motel room cuckold scenario because even the great animations that were in the first 2 acts and half of the 3rd one went to shit ... the speed of motion in them is absolutely unrealistic and when compared to animations in the authors other game they are just bad.
There was a tease of a sequel ... but my God unless we play someone else and cuck the MC of this game I don't care. Being cucked is the only thing the piece of shit deserves.

I'm giving it 4 stars largely because the dev finished the game and I think that needs to be encouraged. So... the good.

Mia is hot in almost too perfect way and the sex scenes are pretty good. I like that all the women want to and do climax and that it seems to be relatively important to the MC. There is a lot of content and you get to it pretty quickly. The renders are above average and the writing is good from a grammatical and readable perspective. Finally, not an ugly girl in the game and lots of good sex.

The bad. Incest. I am not sure why this is so freaking popular, but I hate it. This game gives you the option to reclassify the people but no matter how I reclassified everyone, it never quite translated correctly. And the story... It started out as a typical porn game with the MC manipulating Mia into having sex with him and for a while this worked, but the last section tried to suddenly add feeling to the whole thing which just made it weird. I don't mind trying to make a game/VN that want to tell a story and add feelings, but to start one way and then switch it up to other didn't really work. Plus Mia goes from enjoying banging her brother to being okay with posting videos online for money. Kind of an odd leap there.

Plenty to like. It is well paced, a ton of sex and just about the right length. There is a beginning, middle and end and the dev came up with an in depth ending and didn't just wrap it up in a couple of screens.

So I just did a quick playthrough of the game and before I get into all the details (no spoilers) at the end of the day I think this game is worth your time... most likely.

First thing I want to get out of the way is the "non-traditional" ntr. I've never really liked ntr but its not a deal breaker for me in any game. The ntr in this game is less... "designed" to induce a sense of jealousy? I think that would be the best way to describe it. I believe that with the overall structure and plot of the game, there is a place and reason for the "ntr."

The game does come off to a rough start, the mc is in all honesty, an asshole (and rapist). But... not enough to hate him because most of the other characters are assholes too (and rapists). There are plenty of unbelievable and frankly childishly written events but I don't think take TOO much away from the overarching story. At the end of the day, I was at least semi-invested in MOST of the characters.

Now the renders and animations, they are GREAT, there are one or 2 animations that are a bit grainy, but there are 50 others that surpass 80% of the other games out there. The models may not be as great as say "Being a DIK" but the animations definitely are. They aren't just put on a loop like most games and you can tell the developers put a good amount of time in making them. So, if you just wanna fap? 10/10

Altogether, I would say that before the second half of the 3rd act, I would have given this game a 3/5. However, (and I hope the devs see this) the final 10-20 minutes of gameplay really fleshed out the characters much more and definitely made the characters and relationships feel a lot more "real" even if what was happening was totally unrealistic.

I like to compare good porn games to rick and morty, even though nothing that happens is realistic, you still feel invested in the plot and characters. And because the ending of act 3 did leave me interested to see more, I think that a 4/5 is fair for this game in its current state.

I'm pretty sure the devs are racist because every rapist or criminal in the game is a black guy. But who really gives a shit.

it's very bad game, you can not consider a game the whole story is linear and very bad is like "my sister is a slut and i am horny so we started fucking" without lust, without romance, or a single credible reason for how the relationship begin.

I play it because I like Mia's model and I really tried to like it, but she is a slut that goes to bed with everyone who can, a doctor abuses her just to prescribe a pill and she does not notice anything out of the ordinary?

What a fucking gorgeous game...

I loved Mia from the start and the MC was a fucking idiot to let her go. This was partly corruption game, but unlike most other games, Mia was not being a complete idiot. She was caught out and deceived by the MC, but she was clever enough to catch him out on his BS and even managed to turn the tables every now and again.

The ending was so sad for me. It's a classic case of:

Pros:
-Good renders
-Good animations

Cons:
-Even for porn, the story and dialogue are retarded
-MC is an obnoxious unlikable cunt at best and a creepy sociopath rapist at worst
-MC's dick is so unrealistically big the game might as well have the fantasy tag
-It's not actually a game, it's a visual novel with a few inconsequential decisions thrown in
-The girls are attractive but they look almost identical. It's like the same chick in different wigs.
-Ads. I agree that developers should be paid for their work but the constant ad interruption is annoying as fuck. I don't mind a few ads and will put up with them but it got so bad that I had to go look for the codes to remove them. Once I got the ad removal codes I discovered that the ability to input the codes was removed by the developer. Luckily, a member posted an edited script.rpy which I had to copy into the folder to re-enable the ability to input the goddamn ad removal codes. Good times. A message from the developer to support their work on Patreon in between the chapters would've been sufficient. All this work to disable their incessant nagging was bullshit.

Overall:
There are much better harem-cest games out there. This one looks good from the outside but it's rotten inside. Unless you have a hard-on for this chick that won't go away, pass on it.
