I guess what DC has to learn from this is that he should do these animations first before doing other content and things should be better next update.

Well, of course I don't know any details but to me to sounded like he did some of the final h scenes last as he has always done it before. As far as I'm aware they stand somewhat alone and could be drawn before posing, coding, dialogs etc. come into play. Of course he'll know best how to work but that doesn't mean that there's no room to improve.

So if the coding is done according to DC, why does it still say 61/64 tasks completed on that end? Is plugging in the last animation apart of those tasks?
he's promising faster and better updates every time and it never happens. was it really not forseeable that the animations are going to be another bottleneck? just bad project planning
At least I think someone gets how numbers work... 0.5 won't be out for years, and I hope that was the joke there. 0.05 was the old one, not 0.5, 0.15 is MUCH smaller than 0.5, because 0.5 is the same thing as 0.50, or 0.5000000000... Decimals work the opposite of whole numbers, the zeros that matter are the ones at the beginning, not the end.

The updates right now are really large. It is a bit overwhelming I would prefer smaller updates. One months update should be the sweetspot.

It blows my mind when people say the updates are 'large'. They may take a lot of work, but most of them barely add half an hour of gameplay.

The last update (and presumably this one) have been more than double the size, and with better animations, so you're wrong there.

If this update gets to be the scam that the last update was I'll stop supporting DC. I'm getting tired of waiting a lot for a produt that doesn't deliver.

People think that doing this updates or content are easy to do. argue about half hour of gameplay there is games that their update 1 month equals 2 minutes just like A town undercovered that its being 3 months nothing but text.
but DC isn't even doing the animations. he also isn't doing the coding or the posing anymore. he also gets help with backgrounds. still the updates don't come out quicker.

If you think the last update was a scam, I don't see how you'll ever be happy with an update. Tons of H-scenes, tons of new art, tons of quests, and the animations were pretty good.

I don't mind the long updates. It's custom drawn art, rather than regurgitated 3D renders normally found in Ren'py games.
Not that 3D renders are bad, I like several Ren'py games but it's nice to see something custom to the developer, rather than pre-made assets or slightly altered assets that someone else made.
