well I am working 60hours per week and my wage is around 11k per month I don't mean to brag but I just want you to get familiar with salary in game industry , dc patreon page shows that he is making almost 50k per month but I think patreon gets some of his money and also there is rule that if you get more than 10k per month on internet you gotta pay taxes removing that they are 7 people who are working on this project unless dc takes all the money he has to share the income he probably gets 4 k or 5 k per a month .

as much as it sound tempting and saying that OMG he is making 50k per month he is not making much money but as i said if he wants to deliver updates early he needs to work at least 25 hours per a week

right now I think he is working 14 hours per week but a normal game designer works between 40 to 60 hours per week I am not saying that he should work that hard but if starts working 4 hours per day I think his team will be able to release an update every 3 weeks.

Was about to mention the same thing, I've only been a patron for about couple of months but I've already seen him stream more than the above mentioned 14 hours per week. :O

Gotta love it when a developer not familiar with DC or his partners, shows up and starts their criticism by pulling numbers straight out of their a.s.

For the record, DC also used to be lead art director for a major studio as well, but got tired of the way the industry was going, and started this to learn a bit of coding. To his great surprise, his little test project became popular.

Did not know that. :O Just knew he was an artist, but I didn't know he used to be in the industry prior to SS. Then again, I've only been a patron for a couple of months, and haven't really had the time to check out much of anything except a couple of his streams.

You just never know what tidbit you might pick up during the streams, he also used to know people at BioWare before they became BiowEAr, and all the good people quit. He started this to learn some Python, so that's why the older code sucks to hard, and why it's having to be redone before saves will work, and work better, and so on. I mean, I am just happy the saves are about 1/10 the size they used to be.
