Honestly, it does. 34000 patrons for a game that hasn't made any significant progress in 5 years is crazy work. There's tons of better games that don't even break 2000 and still somehow get more content done in less time. Even if all 34000 patrons were only paying 1$ a month that still amounts to over 3 and a half million bucks he's made off this.
And I can't imagine the amount of patrons is going anywhere but down. He should have been bleeding off subs for the last 5 years. To still have 34000 is insanity.

he use to have 40-50k paid members before
when he took 1 year break he lost ton of subs
in panic he said he will roll out tech update every 2 months

You don't need it for this. Unlocking the gallery has been built-in for years. So has cheat mode.
Where do you find mia in the remake? Need her to proceed the art class and she just doesnt exist.

If you want full content, you need to play v0.20.16. Not all content is migrated over into the preview v.21.0.0-wip.6705.

I wish it was possible for Patreon to force subs to confirm they actually want to continue - I would bet if they ever implemented that, a lot of devs like this would drop off of supports massively. Of course, they will never do that, because that would just lose them money. But devs like this really abuse the platform and make people not want to use it at all.

I was subscribed for a long time untill they shut off the comments. I dipped after that.
Nothing is "finished" he is done working on it for now, but it will "never" be finished until the game is 100%
If you think about it, the dev is a true visionary. He innovated Patreon paypig milking before it really became a thing. Truly, a genius that belongs in history books.
