Especially if one considers that the average patreon pledges less than $3 a month, while most patreons pay $1. That's just nothing most people will care that much about, as long as the updates are fine and fun. The base is just very large and many small pledges are much more stable than few large ones.
That sad, nothing will change anyway. Some people here are complaining about the same thing for more than 1 year by now. I mean, DC just posted most of the arguments again himself, so at least in this forum there shouldn't be a single patreon of DC who is surprised.

i could applaud your optimism,but that would be something short of a miracle,you're talking about the longest update so far,as DC mentioned,if even with art made before they start on this patch it is taking this long,you could only imagine Eve's update...dont feed people illusions(you will only help to build a bigger flame for the next updat release date) Ronda,and be glad that Ronda won(at least from what i heard)the raffle for the next update after story's one....

i was having my doubts about checking the thread,after all,there will be nothing of my interest for quite a while now,but got my interest fired up since my alarms showed a response from DC,so kinda wanted to check what was about,but its still on the same page as always by the looks of it,so,my bad for the guys who will choose to stay active on this thread(PatreonTed,Proman,Cassidy,Ronda and the others i just cant recall right now),gonna waste my time working and looking at other threads till next year(aside from some minor checks here and there,just to see how shit is going)
