This one was interesting and frustrating.
The story is interesting, and wastes very little time. The characters have different personalities, and provides some dating material for most people. What was frustrating about the progression though, is that you would so incredibly easily skip something important, and have no idea you did it. The game actively punishes you for just enjoying the story, and interacting with what is presented to you. I nearly clicked on everything i possibly could, and still somehow missed out on several important events.
But fear not, use the replay function! so that i did, and i noticed i missed an event at the very start in the shop. Well i tried over and over to play it in every imaginable different way, and no matter what i did i never got the secret path required for a h-scene.
At the same time the combat is not skip able after you've beat it, which is something that would be so incredibly easy to implement, but none the less, it forces you to do battles over and over again, which added to the already frustrating situation of replaying.
Then i tried to get the VIP nighty grace thing, but apparently i didn't have enough money, so i went back to the start again, and i realize it says i already earned the money, so it is now impossible for me to replay her scenes. So I'm not super impressed by the coding so far.
But to progress the story, you have to expose dangerous secrets to friends and enemies, which seems like an incredibly dumb thing to do, but it's necessary for several h-scenes, pretty much making your decisions pointless as there's constantly only one right answer, and it's rarely the rational one. I'm being followed by an incredibly dangerous organization, not to mention a hacker is listening in on my phone. How could i even feel remotely safe to tell anyone anything that I'm supposed to keep a secret?
Not to mention the incredibly cliche beginning, that i jokingly said would happen, and then it instantly did, making me burst out laughing.
And why are there punching sounds when you cum inside someone?! that was so off putting, i thought the chick beat me up out of nowhere or something.
One thing i will say tho is that i like a lot of the friendly dynamics, particularly with the dog rivalry. I wanted to learn about these characters, and the h-scenes weren't entirely random, which was nice.
The art style is great (though i wish it was animated), and i hope this game ends up with a great story. (And less cum punches) Not to mention story hints, so you know you're about to miss something.
