Ren'Py - SunSity [v3.50] [SunSity]

SunSity 2.15, sandbox game that avoid every hassle that define what sandbox game is great at.

Because my last two progress is clicked away and closed the review box, I will make this more concise to avoid any meaningless typing.

Gameplay, it's hassle to navigate, having an option to place that you can't do anything yet, talking and grinding mindless and soulless sex bot, forgetting which option was on, or making a priority.

Beside that, it's a great sandbox game.

Mechanics, dev should learn how to threading.

Storywise, 501 Not Implemented.

Scene, yes.

In summary, I was about giving this game 3 stars but then I felt bad for the other game which is also in this platform and also a sandbox. So, this has to be done to be objective.

The most amazing thing about this game is the dev's balls at asking money for it. I played for over 3 hours and saw one speck of a booby, at that point I had to just say eff it and delete the game.
The systems are so overbearing and grindy that you have to juggle 5 things at a time while repeating the same task over 20 times just to make an inch of progress. If you can handle the grind your reward is still disappointing as the models look odd and the graphics feel very dated to me. Just avoid this it's not worth the pain of playing it trust me.

While its undeniable that a lot of work has gone into this one, the gameplay loop is a slog with little to no reward. The problem is that despite being years in development, the devs still make you gain stats, affection, money so slowly through very repetitive interactions that even the easier women in the game (your roomies) still take an enormous amount of time to get anywhere. Be that the love route or the domineering asshole one. Add in that you really do need to spend a lot of time and/or money to even know where they might hang out (why the roomies are easier) and not be suffering from debuffs (BO/tiredness/hunger/thirst) to properly interact with anyone.

There's a lot of female npc's in the game, but it is a matter of quantity over quality. Especially in combination with the more atrocious parts of the UI. For the info tabs,the private eye, etc. they are put into a single column menu that's immoveable, but also goes a layer below the dialogue box. And since their names are ?????? until you manage to succesfully engage them in conversation you can't use a workaround like limiting to the ones you like because you also can't see their graphical appearance until you try to engage in conversation.

If only there were some reward at the end of the slog, but romance/sex/etc. options are each beyond the grind and invarying in nature.

I don't recommend wasting your time on this game
I played for 2 hours and didn't see a single nude picture.
to see them you need to raise your attitude, to raise your attitude you need to catch this girl, this is 1 time a day
you don't have time for this because you're busy surviving
I was not able to do this in 2 hours with any NPC, as I wrote above. As I imagined that all this needed to be repeated for someone else, I deleted this terrible game.
P.S. There is no "fantasy mode" in the game

The game is slow, grindy to infinity where normal folks cannot even finish the game even if they die of old age. I think one needs to be VIP on patreon to finish the game maybe in months. But according to me this material with repetitive models is not worth paying at all.

One of the worst games on this resource. The developer wants money for this junk! I have no particular objection to grind, but this is not just grind, this is grind elevated to the hundredth degree!

As for the graphics - I can not get rid of the feeling that at least part of the NPCs are the processing of one model, which changed only hair color, hairstyles and clothes.
The game is not playable at all.
Alas, there is no way to evaluate this game with zero points. Alas, there is no such option, and the one I gave it is an extremely high grade.
If you value your time - do not touch this game. Just forget about it.

DON'T PLAY IT! EVER!
This game is terrible. All it has is a shity grind system, where you get +0.02 to relationships with a girl each time you talk to her. And you can talk to her like 3-5 times a day. Now imagine how long would it take you to get anywhere.

But it's not just that. Using console I changed stats to see what you can do with a girl when you're conquered her. And what can I say? Ugly, renders with unexciting angles that painful to look at. I'mactually angry that I waisted time looking for variables names to cheat, now imagine how one would fill if he had grinded his way through? Don't waste your time, guys.

The Bad .This game is just too grindy .The English is just terrible, Theres no story whatsoever and Overall its a trash tier game or pretty much a shovelware game.And the artwork is mediocre at best. The Good. pretty much nothing

i ike sandbox gameplay, but this is just tedious.
this game desperately needs some quality of life changes. i dont want to play a game that is more work than real life.

you could include "auto refil" for the fridge (at least as an unlock) or some "macros" to do a complete routine at once. repetitive clicks are just not fun.

Well i think i have found something more boring than watching paint dry, This game.
An amateur attempt at a game that's what this is.

Graphics are not bad 3/10
Gameplay 1/ 10 a complete grindfest.
Story 1/ 10 there really isn't a story.
Imagination 1/10 This game is like a mix of many other games and does poorly at it.
Animations 0/10 There are no animations.

Although the graphic environment is not bad, it is the only thing about this game that is interesting in any respect. There is no animations whatsoever, just simplistic renders that change a few times.

All in all, don't waste your time. You will end up spending it grinding out a game that is so poorly done, it really deserves a big fat Zero in the ratings, unfortunately that is not an option.

The BAD
- The ammount of GRINDING (for skills and money) you have to do in this game is astonishing.
- The game is kinda confusing and hard, at the beggining when you don't know too much about the game.
- Most of the "H-stuff" scenes have little to no variation between girls (it reuses a lot of assets).
- The inventory and Storage is pretty weird and annoying specially with the keys. Add a Keyring for Gods sake.
- Right now the content for each girl is very limited, the game is currently unfinished but still very limited content and a lot of GRIND.

The GOOD
- There are plenty of girls to choose from.
- If you are a premium user there are "cheats" and more "customization" for the girls.
- The game is pretty much a "open world", it does not force you to follow a path.

- in code huge amount russian remarks, some variables have russian names
CONS:
- game have no point- no story, no quests, no target, only grind
- game not grindy- game content is 99.99% OVERGRINDING.
- cg. few games have worse cg, but most games have cg much better
- version 1.0 here on f95, have some cuted content like cheats (it's cruel - make people play that *** w/o cheats)

this "game" blacklisted cuz under a beautiful wrapper is inedible. save ur time- dnt even download that...

Oh my.. Too much grind.
Does dev really expect from people to try hours and hours to get a reward in game..
Story is meeh, and the game crashes sometimes.
Characters are okay but again too much grind.This game is waste of time.

Theres too much grind and the art style is too much generic to generate any apealing for the effort you need to spend to see any of it.
I never reviwed any game so far, but this one I needed to as a form to help people to do not waste time on it.

I gave it 10 minutes before I was just done. The game is overly complicated and downright a pain in the ass to try and slog your way through. +0.01456 or whatever, seriously?

I came here for hot renders and a decent story. I got neither. This is more of a real life simulator, not a game. No thank you.

Amazing game, with cool Sims like survival elements, hunger & thirst play a big part in the game along with the more shall we say social side of the game, my only gripe is it is quite grindy to make any headway with the characters.

I would love to see the whole Mall thing expanded at some point, like buying bigger backpacks to store more things & also bigger fridges to do the same, I think it would be asking too much to ask for a decor type store as well that you can purchase bigger cabinets as the game goes on,

I had high hopes and was disappointed.

there are a lot of characters they are interesting and sexy.

the gameplay has potential (very cool stats system, love vs "corruption")
BUT it is VERY grindy and very little reward for it.

perhaps in the future it will get better but at current state all I can say is meh.

As of 0.70 there is just too much game and complexity for it's own sake, resulting in an experience that as others have pointed out is just pointless or mostly pointless grind over any real positive game play. There's some makings of a decent game in here and the render assets aren't bad it's all just buried under a cumbersome game and it's not really worth digging through.

It could be really good but at the moment it's still way too difficult and takes too much time to do anything. Also, your focus needs to be on so many things in the game that it just gets to be more of a chore than anything.
