Hi!
I've been a lurker for a long time but considering I'm getting more into game developing, hence hopefully being more active around here, I thought I probably should introduce myself and talk a bit more about me.
I'm from Venezuela, when I was there I already wanted to make erotic games but back then my plan was simply commissioning the art because I already had a good job. Sadly, the person I was commissioning ripped me off, lost like 2k$ and all I got was some sketches. So, I decided, fuck it, going to learn drawing and make the art myself. I started learning with a cheap genius tablet and I'd like to say it was going well enough but then, you know... Venezuela happened and I had to leave. Moving to another country was hard, I tried to keep drawing and at some points to make a game, though I never felt good enough about my drawing to make a game with it... but eh. Anyway, after many failed attempts someone recommended me Daz Studio, and well, I loved it.
It's been about 8 years since I started using Daz, wanting to make erotic comics and games with it. Sadly, a lot got in the way, from more stuff related to moving to another country to some depression. Theeen, we had what people here called "a social explosion". Riots and such. And then the year after that... you know which virus. From what I hear, this country (Chile) was among the more strict forcing people to be in their homes and among the last to lift that shit. And did I mention I have a bad back, got a surgery for 3 hernias and scoliosis when I was about 22yo? (a long time ago).
So, long story short. I'm kinda fucked because I don't have many choices for work. Luckily I still have savings and I sold a ton of shit I used to collect. So, I decided to try make a living from porn. It's not a naive dream, it's pretty much the only skill I have that I can use in my current condition. But yeah, also something I enjoy doing. So, here we are, I've been much more serious about it, making art and getting it out there in places like Twitter so people get to know me more. Ideally, I want to make games and stuff people like and live from that, but if that doesn't work I'll probably just try living from commissions instead.
And... that's about it, I think. Sorry for the sob story, it's not meant for pity points, it's just that I want to be as transparent as the internet allows it. I guess I feel kinda bad I will be asking money for this stuff, I wish I had a job and could just share this as a hobby, so I guess I want people to know why. Also, I don't want to be throwing the sob story when talking about the projects precisely because I don't want people thinking I'm looking for pity support, so I think the introduction was the right place to do it (though probably not many will read it...)
So, yeah, I go by two "names". DynamiteJoe and the more recent one, RenMan3DX. This is to divide the type of content I make. I started with DynamiteJoe doing futa stuff so I got known by that but sadly it's one of those divisive fetishes, people expect me to make just futa content and no male MCs. So, enter RenMan3DX, still very new and almost no content made with it but the plan is to use it for anything with male MCs, from shotas to grown-ass men.
Anyway, sorry for the long rant and I hope we all get along
