Guyver. It's from an old manga, Bio Booster Armor Guyver, about a man who gets bonded to a symbiotic suit of living armor. It was the first name that came to mind after the MC had a fight while wearing living armor.

Was gonna use Indra, which is my ign for a lot of games, but then remembered seeing in this thread that the game already has a monster named Indra or something (haven't gotten that far yet)

Which is ironically why I felt like playing this game in the first place, after ignoring it for so long (art style creeped me out at first lol)
