Let's try and be fast or I'll cover an entire page with just one review, very small spoilers ahead.
I fucking love this shit.
World:
The best part of this VN IMO is the world building as well as its "powers system" an absolute masterclass in how to develop a sandbox for your characters to interact with, from politics to other wordly conflicts it is easily one of if not the best world building and power systems I have read.
Characters:
The characters are super interesting if you play their correct paths (I'm looking at you Liz).
But the one I want to focus is Ella, she is the defenition of a rollercoaster I don't know if i like her or hate her, one day she doesnt care about the MC the next day is fucking him.
She spends 90% of her time helping jake instead of the main character until the mc defeats him, after that she looks/acts madly in love with the MC especially considering further plot development and events.
Sometimes she wants to kill the main character (and does) and others she wants to protect him.
Even to this update I have absolutely no idea what her motives are(I hope all of her personallity aspects are intended and not a comflict between main story and her love route).
Each character is very well-written, either they have an interesting trait/plot or are a intersting enough to want to know morea about.
Alice best girl tho.
Plot:
The main plot is fun so far. It's decently passed and it gets more and more interesting the more you know about the characters and the world. The "Side plots" and love routes are also pretty fun and all of them are interesting.
Art style/ design:
The artsyle is bad at the beginning I could even replicate it with my absolute caca drawing skills.
But It was never super important to me and it does improve a lot with V2 and "V3" to the point where i really like it, the sylized look with a more realistic rendering is very appealing to me.
The CACA:
The writing is not great, this is a VN not a book the amount of text could rival the Lord of the Rings written in binary code.
It's ok to be descriptive but there are images already to help with that, at most adding a simple description of what I am seeing would be more than enough or a simple description of what the character is feeling.
Other than that, transitions, inner toughts would be acceptable use cases.
Most of the text feels like "feeler content" I found myself holding ctrl multiple times out of boredom and still understand the story and events perfectly well at the end.
This breaks immersion and concentration if you constatly have to press ctrl or you will fall asleep especially in fights which should be intense and fast.
There is also writing quirks that wierdWorldz has that are transfered to all characters and make them look like the same person when you catch it, this is rare but wierd when it happens.
Choices are not great either and sincerelly this game is 1000x better with an walkthrough mod (all vn's are).
The whole choices system in VN's are most of the time pretty stupid thats why kinetic novels are superior, if you want to make a game with multiple endings make the choices few and actually important, don't create fake choices that you will have to choose the correct one either way to progress this is just annoying and bothersome especially if they don't improve on the plot or give you extra valuable content or even worse they make absolutely no sense and lead you to a roll back 20 minutes later.
This game suffers a lot with it, but i can clearly see that this is the dev experimenting and I hope future projects inprove on this aspect.
End:
Theres more to say but this is enough.
The game is great even with the flaws especially considering they are not that big and only small nuisances IMO.
But more important than anything to me is the clear passion of wierdWorldz on this project.
It looks to me like this VN is the outcome of a fiction/media loving workaholic with some time to spare between his goon sessions.
Love it 5/5, definitely something you can enjoy with the whole family.
And a must read if you enjoy visual novels.
Use a walkthrough mod tho.
