VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Sweet Revenge [v0.09] [RhodiumRho]

To say the story is weak is an understatement, the MC is bullied at school but after leaving for a few years he returns a martial arts trained gang affiliated teacher and did all that so fast that the children who bullied him are still in school and he is now the one teaching them, but wait theirs more, an evil corporation wants rid of the MC for various reasons and he needs to stop them.

The pace is awful, progress with girls is painfully slow as each punishment must be group ratified which takes a whole in game day and even then the punishment is still pretty weak, then there are the adult women who fight each other over the MC like children that makes them more of a pain than serious love interests.

Asuna and many others are disgustingly shallow, the ridiculous over protection of Ashley gets annoying along with the constant double standards(if any guy joined the art club, stayed for the girls nude posing but then refused to do it themselves, they would rightly be called a pervert just there to leer at the girls, not wanting to do it is fine but if they weren't going to pose nude then they shouldn't have stayed for the girls posing nude).

Why does the MC have to be so stupid, the player gets info at the same time as the MC so why is it i the player can easily put two and two together but the MC cant even put one and one together, it's so frustrating.

"There will be two main paths in our story. You can choose the Evil Path or Hero Path. The story will develop under your decisions.", why promise what you cant or wont deliver?, the story is a single hero path only, i.e. a kinetic novel, the "decisions" you get are only if you want to do a quick side evil action that has no bearing on the story but no matter what they don't change the MC's attitude, he still wants and will be nice to them regardless of any choices.

Art is below average, the sex scenes are pretty horrible and to date there are no kinks of any kind.

Boring mess of a novel. Plot stitched together from cliches that you saw in a dozen novels at this site, with a lot of nonsense on top. Unbearable writing, unfunny, unengaging, I couldn't sit through paragraph without wanting to skip. MC supposed to be this badass, "born anew" gangster/teacher, but deep inside he is still resentful fat loser he was at the beginning of the story, enjoying playing back on his bullies. Writer can't decide what he want him to be: noble hero or sick pervert, so he is awkwardly both, without sucсseding much on either fronts. All the characters are either rude bastards, innocent victims or rude bastards transforming to become innocent victims, waiting to be saved by or MC.

But all of this I could stomach, if not for the final nail for this game: boring, uninspired, short sex scenes. Not only they are very rare, our sigma male is very passive in half of them, pretends to be asleep or something, never on the offensive with a girl. So don't expect fuckfest eather.

One extra star for competently made technical side. Other then that, don't waste your time on this one.

It starts out pretty good and i love the idea of MC getting bullied like crazy to turn into the punisher its just fun, but for some weird reason dev abandoned this story and turned it into some weird story where MC is a fighting god and going against some weird clans while having LIs forced on you after you have turned them down multiple times? it simply just stopped making any kind of sense and story should just have stayed with the hole bully story and choice driven aspect, it almost feels like someone else took over the game and said lets fuck this one up.....

On page one it claims "story will develop under your decisions." but you dont really have any say other then good/evil path from the start everything after that is just meaningless and forced.

Game is turning into a fuckfest where girls will be forced on you and i truely hate that, when your starting out you get the feeling you can turn down girls and have a choice in who to have a sexual relationship with but then it starts forcing you to be with girls that you might hate, like you get a choice to go with Jennie or Reiko and i hated both of them since im not into bimbos and i dont have a big tit fetish so they where nothing but a turn-off and i hate when games forces fetishes and girls on the player.
To make it really idiotic i turned down both girls multiple times but apprently dev dosent like that so at some point dev just stops giving you any choices.

What makes it a total joke is that you can avoid loli/futa/trap/small tits and i wish you could avoid big tits since i could pretty much live with all the stuff that is avoidable.....

The annoying step-sis/roommate being unavoidable instantly drops the star rating.

The principal jumping the mc was hot but made no fucking sense. The story will need to develop on a supreme tier and let us know what's going on for this to be any better than just fap-worthy.

what the fuck is with the MC always feeling suffacated with Jennie's hugs?! I haven't seen the description just being enjoying it. So far it's just. I might just suffacate/can't breath + nice breasts/tits pressed against me. Never just the second and hugging back +cupping a feel.

To be fair,
I'd still recommend this.
I just see potential that is being wasted. And since I don't know how to/can't make one of these myself, I can't do a practical thing about it.

Story so far is well constructed. and has a good number of decent choices that don't hop around giving you what you want. Characters are likeable and have decent depth to them. id recommend getting a good grammar checker though there are some incomplete sentences that sound a little broken.

Aside from the porn itself, this is a really good and funny game.

Reviewing v0.06

Pros:

- The graphic is somewhat decent, barely average

Cons:

- The game is a parade of clichés that you saw in several other VNs, it feels like the dev was checking a list and didn't even try to give his own twist to those clichés.
- Because of those clichés, even the nicest characters are boring to a point that i considered quitting
- The game is placed in japan, but it's not important aside for the mere fact that because of this the dev can add "-sama/-chan/-kun" to names, but almost nobody has japanese names, maybe a surname...but is it important? No, if you ask me it's about idealizing japan like this supposedly amazing land where everything can happen...short version: The dev watched too many animes.
- The lack of a black dialogue box, makes half of the dialogues in a bright scene(like outside) barely readable, i had to squeeze my eyes on several occasions and even then i barely managed to read half sentences.
- Ultimately MC "will try to" become some Great Teacher(if you know who am i referring to, add a like XD), minus the coolness and the badassness of such Great Teacher, and apply another VN(that i can't name because F95's rules)'s style of teaching, while also dealing with all those anime-based clichés, creating a melting pot of "nothing bad but nothing good either" with large quantities of a glaze made of boredom.

Conclusion

Too boring to recommend to anyone, my advice is to stop developing forward, go back, fix stuff, mix it around, or keep everything boringly mediocre as it is but at least improve the graphic-quality to bait players.

Review - Sweet Revenge [version 0.05]
Off to a great start. Clear that english is not the dev's first language, but nothing so out of place it doesn't make sense, mostly minor errors. The models look to have more effort put into them than most made through Illusion games, especially the MC. and a big personal plus, the trans/trap character (unsure which term fits properly) looks attractive but still believable, not like a supermodel who happens to have an extra bit of meat between her legs.

qwll for me is a awfull 2 .why?simple ,no originality at all ,mc looks awful,his dick looks like his little and strange ,i dunno how he will achieve his goals with no thing than a tatto.story is bland no chocices only one at the of the demo,i will say like this cant blame if goes bad .
