It's the theoretical assumption that's been thrown around by others and myself that this is probably the only way we can see Asuna being convinced to willingly and stupidly take the plunge herself. Well at least the only one that makes some sense, that doesn't sound tooooo stupid.
Cause I honestly don't really know how Inoda can convince Asuna of anything IRL unless there's some kind of catalyst to break Asuna's "defense" so to speak. This isn't Part 1 when Inoda had some dumbass excuses, and a sense of "innocence" (at least to Asuna) that Asuna would end up lowering her guard to. But either way she's too far gone since they're doing it in FOG, but her twisted mindset is her thinking that's the limit of her activities with Inoda. And even though twisted, she was still able to resist (very weakly but still).
Sooooo just feels like a catalyst or some kind of major event needs to happen to make Asuna do a stupid.
