There will be minor spoilers, needed as examples for arguments. Also, sorry for any upcoming mistakes; English isn't my native language, but I want to try to give an adequate opinion on this
The Good:
- Gameplay-wise, this new game by Fujino is of much higher quality than its predecessors.
- Combat scenes are pretty good.
- The progression of the antagonist is done well, evolving from cunning to bad to evil.
- I like the story of the little sister, who is frustrated because her brother won't bang her, so she goes wild.
The Bad:
- Performance issues.
- UI problems.
- Crashes.
- Asuna's boobs are way too large
but that's subjective.
The Painful:
Now, before I start, I hope we can agree that especially NTR is mainly not about the violation process but about the story and caring characters in physically and mentally "displeasing" situations. That is also clearly the aim of the dev, as the proportion of text to animation is like 90 to 10%. Sadly, that's exactly where the game falls short.
Asuna: Some people say she is a whore. As of now (Part 2, 0.15), she is not. The problem with her written story is that she just doesn't care about Kirito, love, or any other common relationship-related senses. Right from the start, as she starts caring for Inoda, she starts lying to Kirito and doing borderline cheating stuff. At the beginning, she is not forced or anything; you can even argue that her behavior encourages Inoda to become more corrupted and violent throughout the story. That's how it's written, and it just doesn't make sense considering what she and Kirito have been through over the course of their backstory. Later down the road, the author tries to bring in some "struggles," but they're just not believable if Asuna still does the same stuff right at the next meeting with Inoda. ^^
Kirito: The one and only black swordsman himself (sorry, fellow Berserk fans, it was just too tempting

)) PS: I don't like Kirito, BUT... In short, you can call this game SAO - that time I got reincarnated as a Sloth (stupidest animal on earth).
The MC in this one is just so unbelievably dumb; it's painful to read his lines. The thing is, the dev also has an NTR game about Denji (Chainsawman). It would be totally okay for him to be this stupid because the dude literally grew up in a shack, and his only contact was a speechless demon dog. He knows nothing about society, common human behavior, relationships, etc. But considering the backstory of Kirito, he is cold, calculated, and decently smart. I just don't get why the dev had to pick the "overly original" idea of small dick and zero brain cells. The character has enough backstory to make a decent plot. Just a few suggestions:
- As it happens in real life, long-lasting relationships, the closeness fades as time passes by.
- The dev could make him study and work a lot because he and Asuna want to move abroad.
- The dude is known to be handsome; you could make Asuna jealous.
- Or make him at least an otaku who is more interested in playing games than spending time with his girlfriend.
simply just somewhat believable storytelling
Last but not least, I have an example to make it absolutely clear. There is a scene, to be precise, it's a video in which the literal ID card of one of the girls is held into the camera over the whole "recording" process, and he still doesn't get who that is. C'mon now, that's just, geez...
I don't know; it seems that the dev is aware of the story issues in part 1 and tries to change and improve things, which I highly appreciate. To sum up, in Part 2, Kirito got some serious brain upgrades right from the start, but sadly, it's too late, as we know what happened in part 1. Honestly, I don't think part 2 can fix this matter, but I hope, for future installments, the author works on better storytelling, as overall, objectively, it's a higher quality production, and the dev has some good skills.
