more like they screwed up and released it 2 days late, because it was promised for july 2nd.

regardless, this game and especially anything beyond is up in the air and depends on the reviews from steam. thats what they and NLT are evaluating. Nothing else matters.

The major points i took away from this are
  • if the game is too big for people and the open world doesnt work, they might tone it down
  • a smaller game would look like Lust Epidemic but more refined, in his words "best possible"
  • he seems too stubborn on this magic world stuff, there was a brief mentioning of "different worlds" and cleopratra, but thats just spitballing
  • NLT is a fanboy of indiana jones and loves the idea of it... could mean anything.
  • remasters are in play for Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia, for the sake of money grabbing on Steam
other than that it's mostly glazing and describing whats different about Symphony and the older games... more cutscenes and voiceactors and so on.

im not a patreon, so i dont know what questions were submitted on discord or so, but the wincest part hasnt been brought up. I cant say if that will be ever a topic on this podcast in any capacity considering this was the first episode ever. Also quite hilarious when they said they were talking about doing a podcast years ago, and it took them this long to even record one.

Sidenote: NLT has been on vacation recently. if that makes a difference, but i think he said that two of the future updates are already finished.... So they are flat out slow rolling this game for whatever reason, even though it hasnt been released on steam yet, just to milk patreons.

The most idiotic provocation. NLT said he would be interested in the outcome if LE was made with all the knowledge and skills of his team in the spirit of recent projects. While that's cool, it's likely "that people will probably expect a new game from me. I'm not sure people will want to go back to LE again, but I know that remasters and remakes have been popular with many in the business lately."

In addition to this, Don Kilot and NLT came up with the idea that all backers and buyers on Steam should get the HD Mod. Isn't that great?

Imagine, a person has his own life, his own loved ones and a desire to be in the fresh air, and not just sit in a chair in the fetal position. If they meet the deadlines, then why not relax in the forest?

The main energy in the need for communication comes from TDavy, who knows how to present information well to others. Others were not against it, as I believe, and NLT is always ready to meet halfway to interest the audience.

NLT also said that they are closely studying feedback and suggestions to make the game better. They are considering ideas to improve the combat system and introduce riddles/puzzles/minigames.

The most interesting question was from BillyCaces, who asked about the secondary girls. "Right now they seem like a gift-giving simulator without much depth."
NLT replied: The secondary girls provide content while we focus on the main girls' story. For now, think of the secondary girls as a rough idea. I know that this aspect can be improved. For example, giving their characters more depth by writing personal quests. Also, the voice actors have been chosen - all the girls will be voiced.
The most important thing is to make sure that they do not intersect with the girls from the main plot, because in this case paradoxes may arise when the girl should be in one place, but at the same time according to the plot she is in another location.

hold on, did you actually use logic in this response and **listen** to what was said instead of being mad about there being no incest content in the game?

I didn't mind the podcast. I think NLT tries too hard to keep too many people happy and should do whatever he wants. People love to hate someone who is consistent and creates good work but doesn't cater to what they specifically want to see.

And I wasnt saying anything about NLT taking a vacation. it's a fact. nothing to it. Stop riding your emotions, take a deep breath, and rethink your life. It's not that deep to get offended about everything.

No, if you look at the upload time. It was on YouTube on July 2 and then linked in the patreon post with the game update. Again July 2nd for NLT.

NLT said that a remaster is very unlikely, and if he has the budget he would rather make Lust Epidemic into a porn movie. The HD mod, which is being added to all patreon tiers and steam the closest to a game remaster we will likely see.

The podcast is a patreon product. Meaning they cant speak about these topics. As thats against patreon ToS. Pretty common knowledge really.

No NLT said it was really good to get everything set so, the rest of the team could finish off the update. Ready for him to return from his 3 days off, so he could finish up the update. How is that milking?

This is what you do - you take information/person/phenomenon/game and adapt it to your taste, endow it with properties that do not exist and present it as the truth. If a person writes and writes more than one sentence - this 100% means that he is offended by everything. I wrote this with love quoting almost every sentence and explaining where you are wrong. Started playing the game a couple of times but quickly lost interest.
I still play through their other games, Lust Epidemic, Treasure of Nadia and Genesis Order, all of which are interesting in their own way but Symphony is just not for me.
