RPGM - Tail of Desire [v2023.09.21] [BLUE BONE]

This game is desperate need of balancing. I was LEVEL 105 and struggled to defeat enemies. I wish that the developer would take some time to look at this because I got softlocked due to it.
The art is great and the story is hard to understand because of the MTL. Lots of information is lost in translation.
3 stars because of the art and the fetishes I like to see.

This game is a 5 star game for me! The story actually very good and well written (other than the occasional wrong translation). The artwork fit the fetish very well if you into it. The battle mechanic simple but can be bit hard. At least there's not much grinding in the game.

Only problem I had with this game is the QoL mechanics. Issues I face are:
1. You cant really see the quest details in quest list.
2. There's no hint on the quest and the mini map
3. Cooking and recipe in this game just awful
4. Certain dialogue option not properly translated so might impact your gameplay

Other issues with this game is the waste potential of some of the character in this game. I wish even if we didnt have that much scene with them, at least have more interaction or artwork in the game.

Overall, despite small-small issues, it still a good game for me.

Lowest quality rpgmaker gameplay, entire "game" aspect so badly done it might as well be removed and nothing would be lost, it just exists to be unfun torture in between any actual seconds spent with art.

Game throws you into the world and then you're just there. There is no quest log (well there is one, but if you click on it, nothing happens). There is no hint system. I was just in a village where I could talk with random NPCs and that's it.

Walked around a bit to find quests but eventually got bored and uninstalled the game. You can't even hide dialouge boxes during sex scenes, so they overlap with the scene.

It's a pretty decent game, better than avarage, if you like this type of games then it's highly recommended; starring a lot of "alternative" porn with really high quality images and a cg gallery, it gives a great experience for anyone liking this type of content. Great art style (including both scenes and general game art), music, locations, and even sometimes, battles more challenging than usual.
The reason it isn't marked as 5 stars it's because of some issues I encountered when playing it.

1. It may get boring and repetitive after some type, because the missions are pretty basic and most of the time requieres you to go from one section of the map to the other constantly, passing through many rooms in order to arrive final destination. Most of the gameplay is just going from point A to point B.
2. I feel many female characters are wasted, not having enough scenes despite the many odds.
3. In some point of the story, you lose access to the first part of the map, making so that if you still have remaining missions they get blocked.

Other than that, it's a great game and I heavely recommend it. It is going to my favorites.

I found way too many annoyances with this to continue for more than an hour.

- During the daytime sometimes there's lots of fat yellow "sunshiny" lines that bug the crap out of me.

- This dude doesn't have a regular dick. I'm down for some horse cock stuff, but I was legit repulsed by his junk. I'm not sure how to describe why. It's just... fucked up. It's in some kinda uncanny valley between human and animal that doesn't work. Maybe it's a me thing. Wow. Just wow.

- Fighting progression was obviously not play tested. The first enemy I found was a bee. It was an easy introduction to a typical combat system. The second enemy I found was in the little mine outside of town and it kicked my ass. I guess that location's for later. I walked around, hoping for a random encounter to grind on, but one never happened. In the village nearby I find a caterpillar. It kicked my ass. Bad. I don't get it. Is this is an RNG-hope-for-a-crit leveling scheme? Or maybe it's secretly a puzzle game and and you have to do quests in a very specific order to advance? No fun.

- For being the last male in the world, nobody seems to give a shit about him -- asking him to go kill monsters alone and stuff. I found the lack of other party members weird considering the lore. Surely, somebody would want to keep an eye on him any time he left the house, right?

If it was later in the game, like I'd invested some energy in it, or if this was one particular event -- all of this isn't so bad. However, this is tutorial level stuff. Right off the bat there are huge problems getting the player immersed.
I can not understand how this is rated so highly.

During the early part of the game, your character's supposed to win, even artificially if needed. If a grasshopper kills his wimpy ass, have him get "rescued" by townfolk and taken back to a house, instead of a bland "game over" screen. They feel bad for him and give him a nice healing potion and crappy ring of defense-against-grasshoppers. Just little stuff to keep the player mentally invested and wanting to continue. I'm not gonna see the rest of your game if you're killing me immediately. I'm too damned grumpy for that and there's plenty of other grumpy people with me.

Strongly recommend. This game has very good character design and plot. These characters just get rid of our stereotype of this kind of story. The game play is pretty well designed. It won't take you much time to go thorough this game, so you can focus more on the plot. H scene is not that much, but I like their art style. In my opinion it's a five star game.

ONE of the best. Need more. I just love the artstyle. Maybe the best in term of artstyle. Also the map and level designs are top-notch. The text dialogs are great and poping with sounds making them much more cooler. The battle system and the items and quest menu are also great. Just love it.

I liked the combat and story. Sometimes there were translation issues. At the end you can buy cards and stuff from some traders yet I can't read a single word as it's all in japanese. (At the hot air balloon station) I didn't see a lot of scenes. The scenes I did see had me questioning what was going on.

The game is quite good, the story, the characteristic, the combat are amazing but the only thing i don't like about this game is the art, I'm not saying that its suck, bc there is a few ones are good like Nitt, Luda, elf general, that redhead soldier that i forgot and the mc, the rest is ok to "do i really want to fap to this ?"

The game is a piece of art from CG's, animations, UI, Music to overall estetic .
The story is well written kinda wicked but that's what makes it even more interesting.

I would look forward to some more sandbox stuff something like (own house, maybe harem at some point, maybe slaves to buy, some customization etc.)

But overall it's definitely an awesome game with a heart given in. Totally worth a try. Hope it won't get abandoned and the dev will countinue to develop the game.

So it's an incredible game still unfinished but incredible nonetheless, it got some very kinky stuff, but we all know that what we're here for, some people might not like it but with the info the dev give us it's gonna but more than just a random h-game, it'swill have a soul.

Amazing art style with quality gameplay and dialogue. The ability to a have ntr and non- ntr playthrough is great. If you are a fan of thick and curvy natural bimbo bodies this is just for you. Lots of amazing sagging tits and wobbly asses. Hoping this game gets significantly more recognition.

Best gameplay with cool story to back it up! Don't know why people are rating it so low !!Just my opinion if protagonist name change was available it would have been epic. The art is epic should give credits to him which has enhance the story to the par.

In my experience of the game, the description is a lie to the face as it states all maled have been more or less killed off yet all these monsters and other races have male members that are present, this is excluding plant monsters and such.

I wouldn't really say that it's NTR either since you're the "only" male and there isn't really much romance from my perspective, yes you do have sex a handful of times and a hand job or blow job as well. The drop off is that the MC doesn't do it all too much meanwhile most if not all the women you meet will typically be raped and impregnated by monsters more often than not.

The MC is a funky sort as he's just spawned into existence then thrown into the world and left to his own devices, he's then given a clear cut goal of removing "Lust" and as mentioned prior, he doesn't really do anything. As far as I can tell, beyond the first rape, all the rest are forced, you cant do anything about it which is bland and boring as a player. The first rape you can choose to sit back or intervene BUT the dialogue is the same whether you intervene or not plus or minus an extra line from the woman.

It feels like they had an idea going but then decided against it only to get something more lackluster, MC is legit built up to be a giga dick guy as his penis can change forms to match that of a monster as well as sizes yet this is poorly explored.

My advice to the devs would be to open up the options that MC can take with the women hes presented with. Save them, fuck and knock them up or sit back while the clearly other males plant their seed. Another thing would be to change the description to match that of the game, Enick is not the only male left on the world, don't mislead players or even potential players.

Overall however, it was reasonably fun, it's only really worth a single play through imo, there's not much going on gor the MC. The art is really really nice and I'd like to see more of it. Despite the rating for the game as a whole, personally its a humble 7/10 game depending on how you look at it and what gets you off.

Really let down by this game since the art is really high quality and the modern version of RPGM is fun to play with but man does the game set you up for disappointment, the setting of "You're the only male" should really lead to many sexual encounters for our MC but that is simply not the case seeing as most sex happens without any involvement of the MC and he's basically just an outlet for the writers to be a pathetic and/or powerless bystander and even if its not directly cuckoldry or ntr in anyway the dialog, thoughts of characters or set up of a scene is usually written to be as frustrating as possible as if its just outright pointless to act or you're simply not allowed to intervene even if you are victorious.

As good as the art looks the game features no animation for sex scenes.

The game also features fake choices that make you think you can change certain things but they happen anyways and you can't actually change a damn thing.

The "rewards" for the sidequests that I finished were also really disappointing.

I believe that this game would have worked much better with a female protag which is quite funny since I much prefer playing as a male protag.

Overall I feel like I can't really recommend playing this game over just looking at its CG Gallery.

The game has a very good story, a incredible art, a very good gameplay and it has a lot of potential but the lack of sex scenes with the MC makes this game unberable, like its a pretty long game but lacks content is mostly quest and grinding unless the dev put more effort in make more sex scenes then the game is not really worth the time

The art,story,gameplay are good but some people might not like because it's take 15-20 to finish and poorly translate both JP and English since it's MTL
the problem is the developer himself want to add a lot of thing into a games ended up abandon it when the game is 90% complete you can see a lot of character doesn't have standing CG because he is not even bother finish them before put it up on sell on DLsite

I've spent a good few weeks playing Tail of Desire and I'm greatly impressed by it. Hands down one of the best RPGM MZ games I've played, outright pushing the engine and making one hell of a beautiful game.

The erotic content DELIVERS. If you're like me and you like a lot of spicy and kinky stuff, you'll love it. You'll find yourself constantly aroused because pretty much every woman in the game has exposed nipples and vaginas. You're also rewarded handsomely for your progress and the crazy shit you see will send your heart racing into overdrive.

That said, if you're not into elderly women, this isn't for you. While your start off with relatively sexy and gorgeous mature women, the game will slowly push to elderly (but still sexy) ladies and it really isn't going to be for everyone.

Gameplay wise, it's a bit more refined than your typical RPGM game, but actually gets extremely unbalanced through the course of the game. I cannot stress how unfinished the leveling progress of the game is, so that's something you should be aware of.

While you will find yourself steamrolling a fair number of enemies, at later points of the game you'll run into enemies that are able to one shot you unfairly. Some characters that temporarily leave the party will also be 10-20 levels behind and it takes forever to catch up. This is NOT how you develop a RPG, folks! (Thank goodness for MTool)

The last important thing worth mentioning is that the second half of the game so far is completely MTL, and it's barely comprehensible. Without a guide, you're not going to get far unless you read Chinese.

In summary, Tail of Desire is very much worth a play if you're willing to put up with the unfinished bits. I heard the Final English version will be dropping on Steam at some point as of the writing of this review, so honestly it's probably best to wait for that.

A playable game that includes good sex pics. not the best or worst. but i liked to see the evolution of surroundings as we progress in the story. i would love to see the sexy charracterrs of this game animated in action. sex scenes are not supported witch good subs ı can say that kingdom of deception is a good sample for what i say. there are a few game mechanics that probably make the game fun (fishing sucks, locpicking is fun tho) but ı cant say that they all sucseed. visıally game is awesome i was impressed at the beginning but it didnt last long. 6/10
