    [v0.4.1]

This visual novel is quite fine in every aspect and is of a high quality when comparing to most of the Koikatsu slop out there. The writing is competent, the animations are fluid, the visuals are nice to the eye, girls are attractive, but it's missing some spice and character depth. All the girls being magically influenced to perform sexual acts with the protagonist right from the get go feels cheap, like there is no corrupting or romancing going on, just straight up mind control. We don't even know most of these girls before succubus makes them all horny and submissive for the MC. The author claims that this is a "harem" path, but is it really a harem when we don't even know whether these girls (except glasses girl) even like the protagonist in the first place? I think this could have been handled better. Also this sleazy grin on MC's face every time it's happening makes me want to punch him.

The incest censorship is a little inconsistent at best and BS at most. You can change "Eve" for "Mom" but I think the game half expects there to be her name still. That's besides her always being addressed as guardian, and killing all immersion whenever it comes up. Why has Dahlia addressed Astrid as younger "friend" when they are clearly sisters? Why is William calling Owen his younger "friend", when they are clearly brothers? He also talks about their mother being their "guardian". I think the dev doesn't understand how to apply censorship to their game or are too afraid of the Patreon ban hammer so they removed ALL family ties between EVERY character, even those who are not in sexual relationships just in case (unless there is a gay bromance in the making between the two blonde brothers, but I seriously doubt that). The dev really needs to chill with this unnecessary censoring or the game will require an I-patch going forward.

Right now I'm giving this game a 3/5 but it doesn't mean that it's bad or mediocre, the dev just needs to fix censorship and properly establish their characters.

The game contains a wonderful premise and the characters look really how, particularly the main Milf, the GF and the glass wearing hotty, can't wait to see what's next on this game
Also the NTR route is optional for all of those who aren't fan of that content you can choose to prevent it so there's nothing preventing you from enjoying this game

Tainted Harmony: A Succubus's Embrace is a corruption/NTR VN about what happens when a succubus gets a little mind fucky.

It's fairly decent across the board, but nothing really stands out. The game looks good but not great. The story is decent, but doesn't take any big swings. The characters are basically blank with just a little bit of cliche to them. It does basically everything you'd expect from a mind control NTR VN without really stepping out of that box.

It's just... fine. That's all there is. In order to really make something of itself, it really needs something more. An engaging plot, deeper, more interesting characters, just something to hook readers. I wasn't put off by anything, but there was nothing unforgettable either. It's early in the dev cycle (0.3.1), so it could still happen, but as is it's just... fine.

[Side note: Loyal path is particularly boring. I was really hoping for a loyal oaf main character, making the succubus lose her goddamn mind as he just won't cheat no matter how she pushes, in fact not even realizing she's doing it. The incorruptible idiot. It could have been fun, but just wasn't to be.]

    Review is of 0.3.1

For a game that's been ongoing for a little over 3 months, there's a lot to enjoy already and a great deal of promise. It covers a lot of what I enjoy, specifically a steady corruption of the main cast, and the escalation so far has been great.

Definitely one to watch, and if it continues at this pace with this consistent quality, then it'll be a top tier game.

    Review based on version [v0.2.1.1].

The game looks promising, and I hope it doesn’t end up abandoned.
Assets are great, especially with lighting and expressiveness of characters.
The characters actually feel like characters, not just tropes, which is refreshing.
Can't say a thing about music, as I played with it turned off.
The succubus premise is basic bus still works, giving you the choice to cheat or stay loyal.
Choices could use more clarity, sometimes it feels like “pick sex scene A or miss out”. Maybe supporting text, or MC thoughts before the choice.
Still, the core is solid, and I’m hope to see it goes on.

No review yet, seems strange so let's change that.

Well let's dwelve into the world of a young man of 18 years old who at the start is neither a simp or a chad (it's up to you, fellas, to decide on that), who's still in high school (*ahem* Education must be tough in these visual novels to have a lot of adults in high school amarite?) and of course has a wonderful girlfriend named Monika Sara.

Visually the game looks great, I don't know if it's from Koikatsu but the lighting is very good and it's on top of my list for this kind of character design.

Music is okay, I mean it's your favorite copyright-free artist Kevin MacLeod, at least it's not a random ai music and it does the job.

The scenario stands on its feet, it's your friendly neighborhood Succubus who wants your cum for breakfast and want to you to fuck women. The idea is that you can give in or resist the urge to be a cheater, as well as deciding if you want your girlfriend get closer to another classmate.

This could deserves 5 stars, but I'm removing one because gameplay wise I feel the choices are just "Give in to get sex scenes" or "Resist to be blue balled" and the FOMO sensation because two times you have to decide between A or B, and nothing in the text is actually giving an idea of which LI you'll be with.

Like if you don't go to the library with Amelia, you get to have a sex scene with Astrid, and the next day you have the same choice but it's just locations where you should be going.

IMO it would be less frustrating to have the encounters decided as "Should I spend some time with X, Y, Z?", or at least some introduction of the secondary love interests to know where we're expecting to meet them.
