I do not believe so, but again no new events of any kind pop up even after two in game weeks,.
Edit: next main event is genjutsu master, I have mirai relationship maxed out but no other options to interact with her, also kurunai is not available yet. Also cannot do anything with sarada besides training and her relationship is maxed out.

You need to choose: Save here! (Safe Place), rest and after this game upload new events

I don't know for sure how it works but for me after save here and skip the current day on next day i have new events
