RPGM - Tales of Divinity Rodinka's Lewd Adventures [v0.05.99c] [Eromur Abel]

This game was fun and kept me playing to see more of the art and how things would pan out - Definitely a good game! recommended - I found myself doing alot of reloading to see how things worked in different ways and have different things this is one of those games that makes u want to complete it all.

Man I read the walkthrough on Discord before giving this another try and have to say that this game is ridiculous in a bad sense. It looks nice, but how am I supposed to find all those secrets without a complete walkthrough or looking inside out? And to make shit worse, there are different scenes not only based on choices but also stats acquired by finding hidden items or triggers, like, wtf? Dev could at least give us a complete scene gallery to fap after this ridiculous experience, like most Japanese devs making short and linear games, but nah, you either play and save 9999 times for every fork and then replay it god knows how many times, or you cry to that goddamn picture gallery because dev couldn't be bothered to make connections to scenes rather than a few pics that make it. Pure insanity design.

This game has a fascinating story, a interesting main character and beautiful artwork. The only downside is that you really need the guide from Discord—without it, you’ll miss a lot of great scenes and that can be annoying.

Ifound this title to be surprisingly enjoyable. While it caters to very specific tastes (which align with my own), it goes beyond that with its good CG quality , the story is more engaging than I initially expected, with a decent blend of humor. The characters have charm, and the writing doesn't take itself too seriously, which works well for the game's tone.

As usual i only rate 5 stars whenever i rate.
In this game i will say , Dev got really good ideas of detailing.

Its not what i expected because of the story , i don't like the story but the detailing is like best one .

This games gives you missions , but if you wonder around and try to chat , every side characters chats with you , Even the Horse and the Bear.
I love this detailing , it makes the players wanna see more.
There are a lot of choices in this game that makes me wanna play the scenes again to see what happens next

The only thing i don't like is the story, thats too slow , too goody goody vibe. Not just that , story just don't match the vibe .

Actress in that age of time just don't feel right to me , people might like it though.

Game is good but too much rapey vibe instead of consensual sex.

I get it groping is cool and all but we need some sort of consensual sex as well after all.

Let's hope game's later parts where she escapes camp discovers that life too

I like this game, but sadly the updates are taking a lot more than they should. I still like and enjoy the game so far, it's on my "wishlist" hoping for more.

Hoping for more!

This is more of review about future of this game rather then mainly content.

Lets start with the fact that game has been in development FOR 5 FREAKING YEARS. Yes it has been so long. Yes it still has barely any content even tho it has 0 animated scenes and made in RPGM.

TLDR this game will never get finished, NEVER. After 5 freaking years it finally got to MC fucking with someone. Underline 0 animated scenes btw.

Now lets get to quality. Art is fine, but everything is mostly static image and you can find it at rule34 if you need it so much.

This game is not a sandbox, its a linear storyline progression that could have been made in renpy with nothing of value ever being lost.

You have almost no difference with choosing different actions in the story. Whats the point of traits upgrades I dont know. Its something so far into the future that I believe real life VR will come out sooner then this gets finished.

Also you waste most of time trying to understand what the f game wants from you with its quest rather with any scenes.

yeah, you can feel the amount of work that went into this.
multiple routes and outcomes with different scenes, a lot of interactive objects, text and H-scenes.
Sadly this doesn't resonate at all. Ending up relying on the guide and working through countless steps and quests, praying that something interesting will happen.
On the other side, like that groping florist guy, some things are so well done but drown in absolute boring gameplay and confusing clicking around.
Oh, and let's not forget, that this started five years ago...

Gameplay:
The gameplay is ok but there's no pings on what's interactable and what's not. There's times where I had to use "Ghost Mod" or look up on forums because how terrible it was.

Story:
Story is wack or even worse than wack to be honest. A game that was made in "Honey Select" or "Koikatsu" had way better story than this pile of turd.

CG:
Also mediocre, tons of repeated use of the same CG only with different dialogue and nothing more.

Developer:
The dev is earning a lot of his Patreon and the amount of updates he publishes is dreadful. This game has been out since 2018 and its not even halfway completed. Rather spending money on devs like these, please go spend it on someone who has a good reputation. Supporting devs like these only makes them more greedy and lazy.

I just can't bring myself to like this game nor the developer. The art is absolutely amazing and I love it. However, quite literally everything else in this game needs work.

There is a large amount of miss-ables in this game. Like I gave up after starting over 4 times because the guide on the Discord you're forced to join if you want a guide, is jumbled. There are stats that aren't really explained, and some stats I believe they translated incorrectly from Russian to English using MTL (or just a really bad paid translator). Almost everything or everyone you talk to has dialogue of some kind which, let's be real, is a huge waste of time when developing a game.

For 5 years of work there is almost no content and the game is nowhere near completion. Yes, 5 years. On RPG Maker. A game engine that literally does almost all of the coding for you and all you need to really worry about is the art and story. The team or individual is currently getting 5x the USD they would at a minimum wage job in Russia. I guarantee everyone here or reading this that he is milking the game hard and for as long as possible. Harder & longer than Belle Delphine.

The game itself is good - nice art, funny bits, frequent opportunities for lewd scenes, a reasonable pace for progression.

I'm taking 2 stars away because it gets small updates like once a year, which begs the question of what exactly you're supporting when you donate.

The premise and story are appealing, the art is fantastic, Rodinka is a great character and the situations she gets in are very fun, but this game is never going anywhere considering the pace of updates, as unfortunate as it is, this is just shovelware

The art is on point. Absolutely love how Rodinka looks, the events and the setting are phenomenal (please give us more events with flower shop girl's husband).

Played one of the first releases and got hooked on the oblivious nudity/debauchery, sadly (for me) as the game progresses Rodinka takes a more proactive and active role in the events,

Seems like most events have multiple choices (even sfw ones like the play, really enjoyed it), that's cool, they don't alter the story but change dialogue and which or how a scene plays.

Similarly there is a lvl up system where you can assign points to certain traits and later unlock certain dialogue possibilities but right now to me it feels green.

Anyways, this defo is one of the games that every 2-3 times it appears in front of me I'm going to download and replay again.

This one is a real rare gem in the H-RPGM department, despite some serious issues, which lower the overall score.

If only one tag could be used to describe what this game is about, a #technical_virgin it would be. I don't know if there are more than 3 other porn games out there which allow your female protag to mantain her hymen intact, while engaging in all sorts of other sexual activities, some of them quite depraved. Yes, there is a number of TG/sissification games featuring penile chastity play, as there are female protag games which allow a 'pure' virgin playthrough, but games focused on pussy denial with all other orifices open for business at the same time are almost non-existent, especially when that denial is the heroine's concious, or semi-concious decision, not something forced upon. So far (and I hope it will stay this way), it seems that "Rodinka's Lewd Adventures" are mainly about how to fool around with dicks and their owners while the kitty is still unopened in its original packaging. Such a natural contraception theme is so refreshing to see in the female MC's genre, which way too often includes (unplanned) impregnation, something that I find imposible to fetishize.

Apart from that, there are other interesting and welcome departures from well-used hentai tropes:

1. Consensual overtone of sexual encounters - while the trope of naive young lady naively walking into the hands of lecherous old men and schemy horny boys is still there, I haven't found a typical game-over rape scene. Or a truly unwelcome molestation. Instead, there are plenty of moments of tenderness and genuine gratitude shown by men to Rodinka for allowing them to have sex with her. The one who introduces her to joys of anal kisses her afterwards and has a bunch of nice words to say. Which should be taken as a real-life piece of advise to players - be a nice, open and considerate perv to women and you'll be surpirised how dirty they can get.

2. Realism of scenes and kinks - one of the very first scenes involving encounter with a bear in the forest makes it clear that those looking for cartoonish acts of zoophilia or sex with fantastic creatures should look elsewhere. There is so much more to fap to and consider fulfilling in real life compared to fantasizing about goblin orgies or the shape of an ursine dong.

This realism also affects dirty talking and verbal humiliation. While perceived as naive, young and inapropriate in some situations by those around her, the MC is not considered a village POS whore, whom anyone can insult. Those who do seem to have a problem themselves, one fella is just a bittered young man who should perhaps consider quitting drinking, while another woman seems to have a condition of sorts (coprolalia?), where she's just talking trash without really meaning to insult. Or is she?

3. Non-exotic surroundings - at least to myself, a Slavic person. The names, landscapes and situations seem familiar, so it was easy to me to travel back in memories and remember situations which could have been just like those involving Rodinka. Happening upon a naked girl swimming in a river or lake is much more common than studying with a girl in a pleated miniskirt who goes spelunking the city sewers after school to battle slimes and tentacles. Although her name has a different meaning in my language, which is a bit weird. False friends, what can you do?

So, why only 3 stars out of 5? Well, the game suffers from the typical ills of patron subscription development - lack of discipline and focus which result in half-baked, meandering products, never-ending stories full of red-herrings and shaggy dogs. It's in its fourth year of development and there are numerous planned plots not introduced yet as well as areas and items which serve no apparent purpose. So far, there is one big marketplace in the village of Zalesie and apart from alcohol no other buyable wares there do anything. Why all this filler fluff? Will it find its purpose in future updates? We may never know.

Another problem is verbosity of the story. I know it's so much easier to write a scene than draw it, but why do we have to suffer through a stage performance of some bonkers play about a moustachioed tyrant and even actively participate in it by making irrelevant choices of lines (or moustaches)? Is there an Easter Egg extra scene hidden somewhere? And I'm not talking about a short breather of a non-lewd scene here, thrown there just to add another dimension to the MCs personality and background - it's a good few dozen paragraphs of utter nonsense. Remember those 3hr-long porn films from the VHS era, where the first 45 minutes had to be fast-forwarded because it was just an introductory scene with two guys in beige suits discussing business? And then finally, a waitress in a bikini shows up and 'accidentally' spills wine on one of them? You get the gist.

The CGs are so so, not bad but not particularly outstanding. And the lack of your typical RPGM signage above house entrances, most of which are your typical unassuming izbas make you wander erratically about.

If the above problems are addressed properly and in a timely manner, this could be a great, if somewhat niche, porn game for buttslut enthusiasts. Somehow, I'm not getting my hopes too high.

I first played Rodinka like 3 years ago. Really enjoyed the project, sadly since that time there wasn't really much content added. Dialogues are nice, generally it's very wholesome experience for me.

Simply a masterpiece. This game is currently the one I am looking forward to the most. It's incredibly cute, the main character's corruption is incredibly well done, the situations are great, it's not just rape and you have choices along the way. 11/10 You won't find a game with better 2dcg easily and the artist really nailed it, especially the lewd positions etc are alluring and incredible.

The bad thing though is that the development is abysmal. This game is now 4 years old (at least on here) and the game still has maybe 4 hours of gameplay of which 2 hours you just spend looking around for events. The content in the game, after these 4 years is ridiculously low (think like 3 handjobs and one penetration, that's it, after 4 years you basically play 2 ingame days), like with this pace, the game might get finished in the next maybe 8 years unless the devs step up the game.

I am sorry but I am changing my review. The game receives maybe a single content update every half a damn year. An update that gives you like 30 minutes of gameplay and one semi-lewd scene. For how much the dev earns on patreon, this is ridiculous. Avoid supporting, it's not worth. The patreon site seems active at first glance, but if you read through, you realize the monthly or every two months updates are usually like two general bugfixes that you can literally fix in a matter of few hours. Even the dev admits to not working on the game at all for months... As much as I am sad, I just can't support this. Getting a self-sustaining amount of money from people and not actually do anything for them and being lazy is just disgusting. And I am sorry, but generating a few AI images for some random outside the game story to "satisfy" your supporters is not enough. This is almost a cash grab at this point. 5 years anniversary for a game that still has maybe 3-4 hours of content.

The game is 5 stars, but the behavior of the creator is not even a 1 star.

It was one of the first games of this genre and it seems to me that although it has few updates each of these is well worked and its drawings have good quality, many of the dialogues of the npc or mc could be fun for people who read and do not they just skip the text, in general the update after 02.60 is one of the ones I look forward to the most.

This game is amazing. I love the protagonist and the embarrassing situations she keeps finder herself in. The play at the end of the demo was outstanding and made me wish so much I could be her. Can't wait to see more from future updates.
