Tandem Hearts is a quaint 5 minute heartwarming story with three sexual scenes. While it starts off with the MC's misguided sadness and separation from the only person he had left in his life, it quickly becomes a story of two souls coming together, clearing up misunderstandings and self blame to ultimately experiencing happiness together. The writing is nothing over the top, but it's not horrible either. While scenes happen far too quickly, without buildup, they do foster a sense of love and acceptance between the two characters. The female character has a fantastic alluring model and sex scenes are inter spliced with the brief story, and while they are animated, the animations are unfortunately very janky. They do serve to show the characters crossing thresholds in their relationship, and are each unique in their presentation, with the pleasant addition of a pregnancy sex scene at the end.
Tandem Hearts is not worth downloading. It is extremely short, and presents a charmingly sweet story. But it mainly exists to show that the creator could create something with a definitive beginning and end, which is demonstrated masterfully. The game is in no way bad, but has no high points either. It serves as a shining testament to getting the groundwork started for using an engine and proving you can create something, which it succeeds at, but does not equate to a satisfying game experience.
