I'm enjoying it so far, but what is overall aim? Linear story with some interactive elements, more interactive on later chapters or having more gameplay elements? Only negative is I'm not a fan of the combat so far, just seems to be a guessing game.

Aim is to have a linear story, where your choices shape the paths. For example, the woman who attacks Astrid at the end of Chapter 2: The player (if they didn't take drugs) have an option to kill her. Leaving her alive opens up a storyline with her later. And the deal with Piru, are you his concubine or assassin, or both? If you are, you will need to honot the pledge, even if you might not wish to do so when the time comes.
As for the aim, there's two:
1. In present time, find out who betrayed you and how to get rid of the soul binding.

Thx, get you. So the key difference apart from a number of story affecting minor choices will be route A will have some assassinations while route B will be discovering how to save yourself without the demon's help.
As for the combat tutorial I was aware there was one, but my general position is just to work it out as I go! I won 3 out of 4 fights and it was the flashback bitch who got me.
Demon scene reminded me very much of BG3

Taru is a woman's name in Finland. It translates to a tale or a saga.I love the storyline and I love BDSM. But I think the BDSM here is too violent - with blood, with wounds, and I don't like that. I also don't like that there is no lezdom.

Yes, I was referring to the scene where the heroine is beaten on her fingers, to the point of blood. Maybe someone gets excited at such moments, but personally I only feel compassion. I'm a kind guy, despite my love of BDSM

Just a small update: I've been taking a bit of summer vacation, and also preparing to release Jessica's Plight on steam. Chapter 4 of Taru's Infernal Pledge is still being written, but I highly doubt it will be out in July. Stay tuned!

An absolutely underrated gem. I bought it on itch (well worth the price) and am looking forward to more updates. It's incredibly hot and well written, much like the rest of your work that I've seen (even those that are decidedly not Sane, Safe or Consensual, lol). The shibari scene alone has one of the most well written, vivid depictions of subspace that I've read in a while. I don't praise many games, much less straight fiction in general (being a dyke), but gods. Top notch work.

Thank you for the feedback! Chapter 5 should be out sometimes this month, assuming I keep the current pace. Writing the shibari scene was a ton of fun, for sure!
I'm hoping to collaborate with an artist for Taru's Infernal Pledge too, to truly bring the world and its characters (and the nsfw scenes) to life. I'll give an update on that front when/if that will happen.
