Tell how to achieve the effect of character clarity like Mr.Foxx
I've already tried depth of field and canvas too. It seems to me that there is something else here, but thanks for the advice! You can also create a depth map with canvas and achieve this effect in an external program like Photoshop. The advantage of the depth map is that you only have to render the scene once. You must be registered to see the links
You can wait until the lazy developer finishes the "Layer Render" a DAZ plugin that can do this without DAZ canvases." Depth of Field is not the main task but a nice option.I've already tried depth of field and canvas too. It seems to me that there is something else here, but thanks for the advice!
I like how the characters in the background are clear, maybe they are painted separately, that's what I'm going for. But these are definitely not canvases. What part of the effect are you looking to achieve? Because that's about as standard DoF as DoF can get. Same kind of effect here:

That's just standard DoF. There's absolutely nothing fancy happening there. Stealing esteban gonzales image:I like how the characters in the background are clear, maybe they are painted separately, that's what I'm going for. But these are definitely not canvases.
Thanks for the advice! Maybe I'm exaggerating and it's worth playing with the depth of field. That's just standard DoF. There's absolutely nothing fancy happening there. Stealing esteban gonzales image:

See the two red arrows? You want whatever the focal point of the image is in between those two rectangles that the arrows are pointing to. You can adjust where those two boxes go (forward and backward) with Focal Distance. Once you have said characters in between the two rectangles, you can then adjust F/Stop to give a stronger blur to everything else around it.
It's interesting and much faster than in photoshopplease forgive me if I show you my dirty little tool how easy it is for me and hopefully for others soon too. the pictures on the side of the video have nothing to do with it, it's about the near and far sliders
