Is There a way to just skip all battles entirely? The nuke only removes the enemies on the screen but new ones spawn and just fucking beeline for my leader.
This kind of sucks and is tedious to play and strategize. I don't want to do the battles at all, but I want to see the story.
Or at least not have my main character die from one fucking hit or running out of time to complete the mission and have to do the whole miserable thing over and over and over again. I don't want to sit through all those turns again and again and try and position for enemies that will oneshot my leader if I position him slightly wrong. FUCK. THAT. let me skip it entirely.
The combat sucks, remove it or make a baby mode for people that hate it.

All right, addendum to that particular rant!
It's just the beginning that sucks, especially the timed chase scenes are horrible. Once you can grind levels in the camp, it starts getting a lot better.
The later chapters are significantlybetter than the earlier ones, or it did for me at least. That I learned I could heal with the leader helped immensely too.
I know you're supposed to feel harried, but honestly it would have been better to not have instant losses bat the start and ease you into the game a little.
I would suggest a redesign of the earlier levels for newer players, or a way to skip to the more fun levels.
Personal side-note: I'm a bit peeved that some of the transformations do not resemble their former selves, whereas that would have been a lot more fun to see them turn into female versions of themselves instead of something completely different.
(Why didn't the prince keep his hair, or Danielle her brown hair, and such? Why is gabriel a little sister, a princess would have been fun too. But we'll see what happens).
I'm not a big fan of turning warriors into shortstacks and lollies, but I know that's personal preference.
I'm half expecting the new male characters to look completely different after the transformation. Like that pirate dude is going to turn black and have an afro or something similar.
