Review for That Time a Modern Girl Helped Me Conquer the Kingdom [v0.1]:
Overall: Don't bother. The game mechanics seem horribly broken and/or buggy and the game is unplayable.
The visuals are good. The "jiggly" animations are sexy. Unfortunately, the gaming experience is a disaster. Hunger/eating is just broken. You can't eat at camp, the game just gets hung looping a video of Zara eating forever and the only way to get out is to roll back. When in the village, there were multiple times that the game automatically jumped to a scene of Zara in the tower, but apparently, we're still in the village. When that happens, there's no way to visit other parts of the village. The only way to get out is to open the map and travel back to the tower. There's no option to eat your own food (berries, meat, etc.) in the village, and as previously stated, you also can't eat at your camp. Zara died from hunger multiple times because we can eat food successfully only when purchasing it at the tavern. You can sell the food you find, but the mechanics are so unbalanced that you will still quickly run out of money, assuming you don't encounter yet another bug.
I would've liked to have seen more content, but all I saw was bare breasts a couple of times. That's it. I'm not patient enough to deal with the bugs. I think I'll wait a few months before trying again, but it's not clear it'll even be worth playing since you can visit only 2 map locations and the game says the rest are locked out because it's a demo (i.e., they are or will be paywalled).
