One question: After slaying that lizard monster from the rats infestation quest, players get to keep the naga's head in our inventory, it's not a key item that's needed for later quest or anything else right? I asked since I sold that item to the merchant that set up shop just besides dali's bathhouse
theorically you give it to the old woman. I didn't make that quest. Its more than 10 years old.
You give the head to the old woman and she gives you the necklace as gratitude (that forces the hipnosis effect, the same that doesnt allow you to go through the forest where you find the broken muramasa). If you haven't asked money for the job she does not give you the necklace and there is a scene.
As soon as theorically you give that head is not asked to you again later in game.
if you can sell that item.. well, i guess that was not intended, but.. it may be fine, i guess. dont know.
as far as i know you dont need that head later. i may be wrong. the guild asks you for it?
I dont remember now if there is any switch related with the possession of that head.

Ye, I find that odd too. Players can still fully completed the quest and collect their rewards from the guild even when the head stays in our inventory
I haven't played this game before, is it still good without the nostalgia factor? If you know what I mean.
I'm afraid it won't. Is still largely incomplete. In this update i've just fixed some bugs, improved some details here and there and barely gone forward in the main plot line.
Compared to other nowadays options, this one may seem old and outdated.
On the other hand, for someone who did play the very old version (the original gegerlan / hongfire), i hope that it will feel this update as it is the same and it will feel the updates as an organic growth: same style, same original features and content, with a large extension in playable areas and a growth in the main plot line.
since i think that the head is useless later, i could check it out to change the code and remove it.
but first i need to be sure that is not required later in any switch. so it could take some time.

I'm not Gegerlan. I wasn't when you wrote this. Back then, when Gegerlan was still active, and hongfire, and i began to collaborate with this project, i was doing just some cgi's and graphic stuff.
I liked the game. i missed good endings, bc most of the endings included were bad ones. my goal was to have a good ending in the game when i took it.
If you want to participate again i would respect whatever you do. is what ive done with the previous work already done in the game by other developers before me. You did a good job and im sure that you would do it even better now.
In github i think that there is all you need to proceed. if you need anything else, tell me.
And sorry for the so delayed answer.
i could try to check if i can add some kind of volume control in rpgmaker, which i doubt.
if you know how to make it we could implement it by github and add it.
I could just put the wolfs from the areas that work better instead of the ones from areas that dont work as well, but i should be sure that this does not interfere with any trigger.
i did those wolves because it happened the same to me as to you: i missed more interaction with wolves.
now ive recalled that years ago i already tried your suggestion: to make interaction with the wolves repeatable, but back then i was unable to fix that. So i did another version of the wolves and putted them on that path to the north.
maybe nowadays i could fix the original wolves, but i remember that when i tried last time it was very time consuming and i only managed to lose my time, basically.
maybe i could put more of the wolves that are in the north path in other areas, like in the northern mountains. the interaction with them raises the amount of SP in the red bar, and that could help against enemies in the northern region.
how about it?

I have never heard of this game but the comments seem overwhelmingly favorable. Interesting.
F5 is not making the screen bigger though.
