- adult content... i mean adult content amount... in game exist only 2 vaginal and 1 bj(unusual one) scene and u can miss 2 of them...
- code complicated and 99,9% players cnt just edit stats in console.
CONS:
- no wt here- instead, u must read code to understand consequences ur decisions
- fonts. dev put in game 19 custom fonts and some of them r unreadable. blablabla, vamp syle etc, but they r UNREADABLE. if u prefer readable fonts- just put 19 copies ur preferred font in "game" folder and rename them to game fonts
- "sandbox" part in game... "why, mr anderson?! why?! why do you persist?!" © snadbox not match ur current story, much better use good old dialog menu.

CONCLUSION:
- if u looking ordinary fap material- its not ur game, if u ready to read and looking good story- then its ur choice

But seriously, really good story, never mind the sex part of it. The renders are incredibly high quality, as is the writing. The lore is also pretty fleshed out but seems to be heavily inspired by Vampires the Masquerade.
Hope this continues to shine as what a good sex VN should be

I really love Vampirebased Vns and this one is a really great on at that. The renders of this game are pretty good and the women so far are a pleasure to look at. The MC looks a bit dull tho but its not too bad, even tho his cloths are hideous, but thats something that will hopefully change. The Sex Scenes are really enjoyable and while there arent too many so far they fit extremly well into the Story.
Speaking of the Story is very intruiging and has a nice pace to it with you slowly revealing the mysteries that lie before you. The Dev writes really well and its fun to read and play. You really get the feeling that you are involved in the Story with the choices you get to make. It looks like the choices you make really make a diffrence espacially in the traits and character stats of the MC. I absolutely love games where your decisions impact the character stats even tho maybe in this game it went a bit too far imo with too many stats beeing influenced. A bit simpler wouldve been better imo.
I normally enjoy Vns over Sandbox games but so far the Sandbox Aspect hasnt been obnoxious which i hope will stay that way.
The Sound Effects and Music is well placed and mekes the experience of playing this even better.
So in conclusion if you are into Vampire themed games this is a must play and i think together with Rebirt the best active game of that sort.

An entertaining vampire-themed adult VN, with good writing and believable dialogue (something that a lot of VN's seem to struggle with), and the setting and characters are interesting, plus has a slightly different take on vampires which is a nice change.

The visuals are mostly good and I'm liking the character design, though some render brightness and lighting could be improved, and I like the inclusion of animation in scenes besides sex interactions, which are well structured.

The music choice fits the game well too and the sandbox design is minimal and seems to work well for now. Not sure about the skill system as it's just there, might be interesting, or might be just unnecessary clutter we'll see...

Overall enjoyed the game. Though hopefully the dev will utilize the setting to the fullest and venture more into the dark and abnormal with the story and visuals.

Couple of good renders and yet another attempt sandbox game to be created. Why many creators can not understand that jumping from place to place does not give you the feeling for open world but only annoys ... If you can not create real content do not fill it with traveling between rooms and places.

Dev appreciation: Excellent direction i must say and that too at proper pace, you did your homework before jumping the guns and it reflects in the storyline.

It's a vampire chronicle with story skeleton a notch similar to some other vampire games out there, for the most part story gave me the impression of James McAvoy's "Wanted" movie starting 45mins of it to be specific, even though movie's not about vampires. I enjoyed it.
Once he became one them and a girl named Zoey takes the responsibility of him and saves him from an ugly fate, i started doubting the progression of story from this point because this was the part where most vampire games failed in my eyes. The related games i played, once the main character becomes a vampire and taken under the wing, he becomes the bitch of his/her for the significant part of the game, as in the disguise of teaching him about the ways of vampires they treat him like a toddler, but fortunately here that's not the case and the main character is allowed to or at least can choose to decide on his own the way he wants to explore his new life after certain point and it looks like Zoey isn't that nosey of a girl and she's letting him do it in his way and even helping him and that's cute.
Game is still in early phase but there's too much happening and at the end i felt wanting for more but i guess i have to wait for next updates.

Romance/intimacy: i was big fan of vampire romance thing then twilight came and ruined sorry nuked it for me so it'll be new territory to explore once again but I'd like to see romance get at least 30/40% portion of each update because i see so much potential in that regards and there are enough flowers in the game to do so. Till now there's isn't much of it tbh and hopefully that changes in the future.

Review for v0.52

While the game feels like it's still only just getting started, what's here shows a lot of promise for turning into a solid vampire based AVN.

This is definitely a game that focuses a lot on plot and writing before stuff like sex scenes, which I appreciate in visual novels. Everything so far has been well written and intriguing. It's too early to really say much about story as it has yet to really start to go anywhere, but the quests so far have been good and interesting. Right now we are in the stage of being more properly introduced to some of the bigger powers at play.

The scientific take on vampirism is different. I can't say I'm a huge fan of it since I'm more into the fantasy-esque magical/mysterious vampirism, but there seems to be a bit more going on than what meets the eye and that's enough for me to still be interested.

The MC isn't the best looking imo, but he doesn't feel shitty to play as. Has a backbone and doesn't speak like a moron. He sometimes acts a little too cocky/overconfident for my tastes given his situation, but as a character tells him, he might just need to mature into the vampire life a bit. If that ends up happening I got no complaints.

I really like the style of sandbox mechanics used. Your apartment is your home base from which you get quests, and then use the map as a sort of mission board to complete those quests in the order you choose. Although there's only a few so far so I'm not sure how extensive it will be in the future. Still, it shows promise. I like sandbox when it's done right.

Renders and character models are good, and though there's only two sex scenes, they've been animated well enough (have certainly seen worse). I think they will improve over time as well. I guess I don't have much else to say about them until we get some more.

Overall, it's looking good so far! I'm invested in the story/characters and await to see how things develop. This is a game I'll be following with interest.

I have only two complaints. First MC looks are mehh could have been bit better. Second it would have been great if Madam Snu Snu (Runah) had bigger breasts... for better immersion..

Theme of vampirism is approached interestingly. Instead of traditional mythological tale, We have scientific vampirism.. Those two are very different from each other. While mythological vampires are more magical and mystical. Scientific ones are more realistic and humane. I personally prefer balance between those two. But if you are more into mythology you might not like this one. Still I would recommend to try it

v0.41

I count this as one of the very few VNs that I really liked. I tend to prefer sandbox or free-roam games. I also like a lot of sexual debauchery(who doesn't in this site, right?) but there are times when the writing and design are both good that I wouldn't mind if there's only quite a few sex scenes.

It's one of the few games that's like a breath of fresh air amidst the typical sex game where everyone just throws themselves towards you. I still like those too but you get my point. The story's intrigue makes me want to get to the end of this.

The main character is shaping up to be your typical protagonist with powerful abilities but that could be forgiven because the story is at least intriguing and he is not written to be as an idiotic, asshole teen or man-child as most MCs are and hopefully it stays that way. Sure, there are choices that lets you give in to your newfound powers and thirst but at least it is tastefully done and fits right with the story. MC doesn't just come off as your typical horny Neanderthal or jerkoff. The reasons why women get to copulate with you is also decently written and while unreal, it doesn't border around ridiculous reasons.

The choices you made is impactful although there does seem to be some where you just can't say no. I hope to see more branching paths on this game. What I'm worried about is it starts off as a VN but it does have some free-roam hinted near the end of v0.41. I don't mind if we did get the option to choose which story quest we can do but hopefully we don't have to grind and we could do without micromanaging such as placing phones on desk or food on the fridge. It feels unnecessary.

The sex animations are decent but the character models are great. I only found two sex scenes so far so a word of caution for those who are just in it for the sex scenes - you'll find yourself thirsting for more. This might frustrate you but the sex scenes gives a good wank(perhaps of the build-up).

Good luck on the devs. Keep it up. Hope you don't get writer's block.

Very good game. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the vampire genre, since it has been done to death, but this game got me hooked right from the start. The dialogue is also surprisingly interesting and I find myself reading every line - something I rarely do even with good games! So in short, the pros and cons:

[v0.41] I first played this one a while ago, and I just caught up with it after today's update. It can be summarized as modern urban vampire fantasy, which... doesn't inspire much confidence, I know. They are a dime a dozen.

But I think The Bite easily stands out among the rest. The best comparison I can think of is Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, from almost 20 years ago. There is a reason that game is considered a cult classic. Its narrative, characters, and atmosphere are legendary and The Bite is clearly inspired by it. The story is well-written, and I want to avoid spoiling it, so I won't say anything further on that front. If you liked VtMB, you'll like this story too.

The game's approach to sex - and sexuality - is quite mature and realistic. Sex scenes are rare, well written, and make sense within the narrative. Relatedly, The Bite treats its women well, something quite uncommon for the genre. They are not props and dolls for the men, but a crucial part of the story. They talk, act, and even dress sensibly.

For example, the "main" LI dresses like this pretty much all the time, not showing any skin at all. And that's great! There is no story reason for her to be sexualized in that context, so she simply... isn't. It's not limited to her, either. MC is at the bottom of the food chain in this world, and his meetings with a powerful woman very high up the chain are similarly desexualized (like here and here).

If you are a fan of VtMB like me, or if any of the above sounds the least bit interesting, you should definitely give this one a shot

I really enjoyed this game up until the talk with the doctor. I mean so far it's barely a porn game, there was the one sex scene at the start which was well done and all, but it didn't do much for me because it was way too early and with a character I had no investment in, so I played this more just as an off-brand Bloodlines, but turning the supernatural into some scientifically explainable genetic mutation or whatever is one of the things in fiction I just can't stand. I guess it could still be salvaged by the doctor being shown to be wrong, but it didn't seem like that's where it's going, since you didn't even get a chance to disagree or express doubt.

This game is so good in terms of renders, writing and music, why go in a new, retarded direction for the lore for no reason? I really hope the game can dig itself out of this hole.

I played v0.32. Pretty interesting start. There were quite a few choices considering there isn't that much playtime yet. Characters are interesting and mysterious.

However there's not much to play through right now and it's really unclear in which direction the story will go -but I like what I've seen so far.

I'm hoping for impactful choices and rich story. Sex scenes weren't bad, but you could say they were kinda sudden.

It's more a 4/5 right now but the supernatural elements and vamps give it +1.

Keep up the good work.

It starts off as off-brand Vampire: the Masquerade, which I'm 100% down with. Once chapter 3 starts and things start diverging, it started to lose me a little- the apparent justification for vampirism really killed a lot of the game's momentum, but the fact that it doesn't mesh with my personal tastes in vampire lore doesn't invalidate the game.

Writing is solid, music and audio is fantastic, renders are clean. Good stuff. Not AS good as it was before chapter 3, but it has every chance to pick back up. Looking forward to more; I just hope future updates are a good deal longer than this last one.

The Bite: Revenant.

A breath of amazingly fresh and welcome air, as it's trying something different and exciting compared to a lot of the same cookie cutter VN stories we tend to get around here.

Story - I really enjoy vampire themes, and I wasn't disappointed here at all. Though I found the start a little boring, it was most likely intentional to show what a mundane life the MC was living prior to becoming a blood sucker. I feel like I was definitely far more invested once the vampire stuff kicked in, with the politics and what not, oh and once Zoey came along.
(She's amazing.)

Characters - It's a bit early to say too much about the characters and there are quite a few of them, but I really like Zoey so far and appreciate that the dev is taking her route nice and slow and letting that relationship build. The other girls you come across are okay but feel like the standard wam bam thank you mam types you get in a lot of VN's. This is all the more reason why Zoey's character sticks out to me.

Renders - The renders are pretty nice, though I think the renders in the developers other project Robbin Hoods looked a bit better, I definitely overall prefer every other aspect of this to Robbin Hoods, though.

Overall, I really enjoyed what there is on offer here so far and really hope the dev sticks this project out unlike Robbin Hoods, because it's very well made.

Beautiful renders,well-thought-out and written story. Unique. Nothing I do not like thus far! I felt interested in the MC survival and adaptation to his new life. I feel like you have a choice to hold on to your humanity or let it go and fully embrace your new life. Thus far I have hung on to my humanity,but humans are slowly looking like nothing more than cattle.

It is very promising project so far.
We really need more games about vampires with good plot, well written characters and some lore about universe.

I have some questions only about a lot of
characteristics. It is going to be very hard to use them all and not to break the game.
