I am happy to report you can skip this one. There is little of value here in any respect and I can't find a reason for anyone to experience this. From the lowly gooner to the erudite onanist, nobody should subject themselves to this project as I have. I played both parts one and two, and while the second is an improvement, I still couldn't recommend it.
To start, the model work is, well, ugly. From the hyper proportions on most girls to the inconsistent art styles used to make the faces, I am very much not sexually aroused. Which is, kind of the whole point. But if you think the girls are good looking, that's for you to decide and I shan't try and dissuade you further in that regard. I've got plenty of other reasons for you to avoid this game.
Starting with the first part:
The gameplay is torturous. Every girl is a "Do X 3 times" quest, with each having a specific schedule (time of day and day of the week) they are available at. Occasionally, they also move locations and so you'll have to track them down to progress. There is a schedule you can unlock later, but for a number of reasons that's not helpful. The first is that it's unlocked late, so if you're progressing each girl simultaneously (as I would assume most would, as you are otherwise spamming the bed menu to sleep far more than you should need to), you don't see their routines until you've already half-finished or completely finished most of the cast. Secondly, and more annoyingly, if you progress the schedule quest before finishing another quest (Feed the octopus), you will bug out the second quest, rendering it incompletable. It's a softlock as well, and you may not notice it. Thankfully, it's a well documented problem in the thread and there's even a mod to speed up the arbitrary waiting period between feeding sections, removing a pointless grind from an already somehow bloated game. There was another glitch I found that I didn't bother to fix, as it was the last bit I had not completed for the first game. This quest wanted you to do something on Thursday Evening, only for the game to then direct you to come back Thursday Afternoon. Upon sleeping, however, the quest reset to the previous step. I didn't care to look for a fix to this one, as I said I had already completed everything else.
Now, normally I wouldn't mind this, but navigation is a total nightmare, with unclear clickboxes and odd perspectives making the layout of the interiors non-intuitive to the player. All of this makes it feel like the game is resisting your attempts to interface with it, despite being in a simple engine like ren'py. The UI also has a bad habit of lingering over the screen, but not disabling your clicks. Meaning, you can enter a room with the UI still down, and a scene can start with the UI covering it. Only had this happen a few times, but obnoxious nonetheless. Even more obnoxious was several quests glitching out entirely.
If you suffer through the gameplay, your reward is not great. You get H scenes which progress mostly how you'd expect, except the quality of the scenes is far below what it should be. There is clipping, bad proportions, static faces, and when it swaps to the video files the file that plays is encoded more aggressively than the images, making them pixelated and blurry. To add insult to injury, if you wanted to skip a scene for whatever reason by holding down ctrl or pressing the skip button, you'll often times find yourself in a looping hell where the video file instead just restarts itself repeatedly. Meaning, you have to stop skipping and watch the scene anyways, often being a rather lengthy 15-40 seconds of awkward amateur KK animations, replete with all the issues I listed above. And, while not to my tastes again, the dev has decided to use SFX taken from western pornos to fill out the scenes. I've heard worse, but I've also heard much better. If only they didn't have the unfortunate habit of looping after the scene ends due to another bug. If you play this despite my warnings, you can fix this by going to the gallery in your room (the big TV on the wall) and playing another scene. That should stop the endless plapping or moaning sounds.
In spite of all this, I would have given this game a more favourable rating it if was at least written well. However, it's below par again. Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and other anaphranisms common in ESL games are present. Again, forgivable, but the characters are all shallow and worthless sexdolls. They are constantly lied to or taken advantage of. Whether they were supposed to be willing or were genuinely as gullible as portrayed, I couldn't tell, leaving every scene with me wondering where to put it on the rape spectrum. If you're looking for that sort of game, you'll also be disappointed. I don't think the MC was written to be a rapist. However, he is the worst of the cast. A useless man who we constantly have to read the inner thoughts of. Thoughts, which are filled with nothing but the most base and crass ideas, and not even in a "so-bad-it's-good" kind of way. Every other line is the equivalent of "I'd like to fuck her pussy. With my cock. If you know what I mean." for every single interaction. It's not clever at any point and doesn't attempt to be either. I gave up trying to read the story as there isn't one. Just excuses for the meat-puppets to slam into each other at strange angles.
The second part:
A VAST improvement in terms of gameplay. Gone is the "Do X 3 times" garbage, and navigation is such an improvement I don't know why the dev didn't go back and re-do the first game to be up to this standard. Each room can be traveled to directly now from the map screen. You also have everyone's schedule and location listed in their quest directly, and it's all on one page instead of two like the first one, removing an unnecessary click every time you wanted to check one of the girls on the second pages next step.
The UI continues to bug out a little, but other than being less cluttered I don't have much more to say on it for part 2.
If you're thinking you could just skip part 1 and play part 2 and watch the scenes there, you will be disappointed again. All scenes are exclusive to the game they were from, with each gallery functioning independently from each other. So if you wanted to see all there is, you'd have to suffer through the trash that is the first game. Every other problem I mentioned above, including unskippable scenes, remains in the second.
And if you thought the writing would be improved, you're sorely mistaken. I noticed a lot less of the MC's worthless dribble in the former of his inner monologue in this one, though that's just addition via subtraction so I award no points. There is some sort of interconnected story going on with this game and the devs other projects, but I was completely checked out by this point and found no joy in even attempting to read what they wrote. Especially as it appeared to be some sort of heartfelt drama, which doesn't suit our MC in the least.
I'd give the first game 1/5, and the second a 2/5 for how much easier it is to navigate. On the whole, I find this to be 1/5 experience and would not recommend anyone waste their time or drive space on these.
