Ren'Py - Abandoned - The Corruption of Emma [v0.20] [Funkie]

The game had a lot of potential with the story and the plot, but sadly it was executed in very poor way. You can be very tame or go crazy, but your actions do not carry a lot of weight.
Renders and CGs are ok, bit outdated, but the animations are horrible and non-skippable, which makes it quite annoying when trying to progress.
Overall average game with a lot of potential, but sadly abandoned and mediocre quality at best.

This game is a big disappointment. The graphics is terrible and the story is really vague. Some ideas for the scenes will be very good but this way... I would say there is a lot of work to get this to good game.

This is a fantasy about an innocent girl who knows nothing about sex and allows herself to be used as a toy.

Now . . . supposedly, she's actually a robot, but I prefer to imagine that she's only pretending to be a robot.

Anyway, she's cute, innocent, and gets into very erotic and somewhat extreme situations.

The art is good; there is a good amount of content; and you have a lot of choices.

I think the people who rank this low don't like all the sharing of our "toy."

The animations can't be skipped, but I mostly don't mind, as most as quite good.

Story is absolute horrible. The unskippable animations are the worst. Since they only consist of a loop of a few frames you could just use pictures and it would be better. You just sit there mostly and wait for the animation to end.

The Story is Pretty BAD , not much to tell about it , bad Renderings the Animations can't realy called "animations" are about 3 frames at max and the worst i have ever seen. I tried the last 0.18 version as last try before "BlackList" the game and never download it again...

If you are looking for a VN, then don't bother - the characters are stereotypical, shallow, unbelievable and unlikable; the story is incoherent (she knows nothing about the world, yet in the caffee she immediately knows, that she likes chocolate cookies - the tabula rasa starting point is obviously too complex to be handled in any sensible way by the game's creator).
If you just want to fap, I would give it one more star, if we had just pictures here, instead of prolonged, awkward animations, that you can't even skip, making you sit there just waiting for the ugliness to end.

Is it a masterpiece in writing? no. But it does exactly what I like in a porn game. You have enough freedom of choice, even though the story is quite linear at some points. The art style, while it could be done better is sufficient to complement the game in its own way. This is basically porn with some plot. Could be done better, but it's not bad at all.

This game has the clumsy writing that you could expect from poorly translated porn games. I think the author has written the word "thought" as "through" in every sentence it is used. Apart from the plentiful grammatical errors most of the characters are over the top, unbelievable and unlikeable. The not-sister is an obnoxious bully that insults her not-brother every chance she gets, the dad's girlfriend is just a mean bitch for seemingly no reason. The sister's boyfriend, Chad, is also a bully because why not? Worst of all Emma always is naive and sounds confused about what is going on even if you consistently make decisions for her that encourage her to be more sexual. It feels like you are playing as a 6 year old.
The author also tries to morally equate being a slut or sexual with being evil. He literally says the green choices are choices that any good person would make but the red choices are more evil. This would be acceptable on it's own if it was just mentioned in the tutorial but the characters keep reinforcing this theme by Emma constantly saying that she feels like she is doing something morally wrong when she is in sexual situations. There is even a scene where a character says Emma is doing something evil by having sex with two guys. Its fine to preach your warped morality in a game but it isn't going to make for good writing, immersive story telling nor sexy scenes.
Speaking of the sex scenes; one positive is there are a lot of them and there are a good amount of choices that lead to different scenes. However the terrible unskippable animation really hurts the scenes. That along with the awkward writing, the scene set ups can be very cringe worthy. Still there are some interesting fetishes played out here, so people may get enjoyment out of the cum swapping, ntr, gloryholes etc. It is also a positive that you do get to choose who you are sexual with most of the time and not get molested. I say most of the time because there are still a few moments where you can't choose or an earlier choice locks you into a situation where someone forces themself on you.
