RPGM - The Corruption of the Village [v0.5b] [Inatari Tales]

If you're planning to play this game, I suggest you skip the prologue, which is about the childhood of the main character, because the prologue is one of the worst I've seen in any RPGM game. Almost nothing happens and you have to walk around pointlessly and read a lot of unnecessary dialog. I'm not even sure if there are actually animated sex scenes in this game. It's been 30 minutes and I really don't feel like continuing to play. It's sad because the game looked really good.

ART: Excellent art! There are a few inconsistencies and scenes with less than "excellent" quality, but still good quality. [9/10]

STORY: The corruption story for some characters is not ultra convincing, but is above average for the genre. [7.5/10]

SEX SCENES: Very nice sex positions, with above average animation quality. Also, compared to other games of the genre, more scenes happens when the cucked guy is nearby, leading to very kinky situations. [8.5/10]

SOUND: One of the few things in the game that is not that great. Pretty average. [6.5/10]

GAMEPLAY: A somewhat weird-shaped map to walk around. But nothing too annoying. [7.5/10]

TECHNICAL: For an under-development game, very good. No crashes or game-braking bugs encountered. [10/10]

So far, one of my favorite adult games! My overall score: 8.5/10

Whether you're in the shoes of the MC watching things slip through your fingers or the FMC slowly getting pulled into temptation—the emotional tension is pretty nice. The corruption is slow , as for my taste is the perfect lenght, making everything hit harder. If you crave that slow-burn, emotionally charged NTR where everyone feels just a little too real, this one absolutely delivers.

I think 3 Stars is pretty fair for what it is.

It's a good game if you just turn off your brain and beat your meat.

I think its got great potential. It is a bit tedious and the story takes forever to develop and actaully get some NTR to reach completion. I enjoyed it but it takes up way too much time to get anywhere. Very redundant and I wish it had more freedom to explore and encounter the NTR scenes. And OF COURSE MORE NTR. Not enough here yet.

I really like the unique design style of the characters and scenes; it gives the game a distinctive touch. When it comes to portraying eroticism, this type of art helps a lot, which is not very common—it's rare for a specific art style to complement NTR so well, especially this particular type of NTR.

I'm a fan of games in this genre taking their time to gradually corrupt the main girls instead of rushing their development, and this game does that very well. The fact that there are scenes scattered throughout the map makes exploration and investigation intriguing, encouraging the player to engage more with the world.

Additionally, the different types of betrayal add variety to the story—not just affecting the protagonist but also those around him.

There are a few minor issues, such as the overuse of the green-haired and purple-haired girls. Their stories aren’t particularly engaging because they lack the progressive corruption aspect that makes other characters, like the protagonist’s mother or his friends, much more compelling. However, this isn’t something that significantly detracts from the game, so it’s still okay overall.

Look, I'm gonna be honest here. I don't even know what the story is about. I just started from the update 0.48 to check it out.

I'm just giving this 4* for a single scene. And it's not 5* because since the focus of this game is the hidden NTR, it ended up falling short of being one of my favorites scenes of all time.

But even then, it is so fucking hot for me that I lost count how many times I jerked off to that.

Don't believe the positive reviews, this game is a compilation of the worst things that an RPGM game can have.
This product NEEDS to be remade as a Ren'Py VN, which is impossible because up to 80% of the scenes in this game are trashy RPGM sprite animations. An example of a somewhat good idea killed by horrible game design. Save your time.

The game is mostly linear which plays like a story with very little choice other than navigation but the scenes and writing are excellent.
The viewpoint of the cuck is not a popular perspective so I'm glad this game does that and I believe it's well done.
The art is some times a little inconsistent (just slightly) and the way the artist draws semen is a little strange. It looks more like they were rained on by white water instead of actually getting ejaculated on.
In general the gameplay is very smooth and was a very enjoyable experience. 10/10

This game feels like the rough draft for what could be a very good game, which is unfortunately the best descriptor I can give for it right now.

The gallery is somewhat sparse, even considering how many scenes are given to the "main" heroines. The time system is clunky compared to some others. The few free roaming events are at best somewhat titillating and at worst kind of boring. And the cutscenes, good lord the cutscenes. If you're going to put cutscenes before the free-roam portion long enough that you have to put a save prompt in the middle of it, perhaps it's time to stop and wonder if an RPGMaker cutscene actually needs to be that long.

• Cutscenes that, while plot-relevant, drag on to the point where I wonder if this RPGMaker NTR story is suddenly going to become a 90-hour sidequest-filled JRPG about adventuring across the world to kill gods.

I love it when great games take a lot of time to finish. This game however SUCKS. Hours of boring walking around and barely no progression at all. It's fucking tedious AF. Art is good but not as godly as people make it out to be. This is overall pretty mediocre to outright bad. Very poor game design, to stretch out this game into hours and hours of boring gameplay instead of creating 1 hour of fun.

I am all for any slow-burn story but can’t stand a story without much anticipation. After playing the recent update, I found that I was not interested in the next phase of this story anymore. The recent story seemed to repeat previous update. And it was clear what would happen with the female MCs without much emotional changes in the next update(s). In addition, its art was too rough and not getting better – Yes, the silhouette scene made it even worse.

This game has very slow corruption which is done perfectly. If you want a quick fap this game is not for you. If you want a game with slow corruption and unique type of cgs, definitely give this a go!

If you like basic, poorly written stories that move at a glacial pace and make little sense and you like only 1/4 of the erotic scenes to be actually represented by art in your games and not just 8 pixels moving, then this is the game for you! For me, I feel like I completely wasted a couple of hours by "playing" this and giving it a chance. I would strongly recommend avoiding this game.

In short, it's like henteria chronicles, but slightly less interesting and a tiny bit more cursed. On the bright side, I've tried playing it before and it definitely improved a lot

Can't really distinguish the good from the bad here, it's all mixed.
For example, although slightly cursed, the cgs are very good, but the 2d character models and animations with them are really not.

The two main female characters are likable, but sometimes there's too much focus on other characters (like the green haired one) that I can't give less fucks about and I just end up skipping through

The game in itself is a fantastic experience, and will easily be a 5/5 when finished.

"When finished" is the key part. I played this game last year, and gave it a go again this year. Since the release of the game, the more "extreme" situation the main heroines will be is a BJ. (I don't care about side characters adventures)

I like slow burn, but here, it's so slow it's not even cooking anymore.

It will be a fantastic game around 2030, along with GTA VI =D

The best ntr game, the art and the story are awesome. The slow progress in the beggining is necessary to enjoy more the actual part of the plot. 100/10.
Yui is the "FMC" but have other 2 important FMC (mother and "sister) is better and incredible, if you want more girls, not problem, there are like 6 secundary girls to enjoy. Don't read spoilers and thanks to the creator for this jewel.

Have you played N_tail's games like Henteria Chronicles? Those games, as well as the games that inspired those games, are direct inspirations for this work as well. And this game does that unavoidable NTR concept justice.

This is slow burn. A lot of time is spent establishing the characters and the relationship dynamics in the intro. It starts from childhood, a relatively peaceful time where bonds are formed, and eventually reaches adulthood where the real slow burn corruption begins.

The map is quite large, but it is filled out enough to warrant some exploration, at least intermittently to find what various NPCs are up to and what they have to say during different phases of the game. By the time exploration becomes tedious, the game streamlines some hints and places side events in paths you are likely to take.

The game uses large pixels, which to me, is an improvement to the mini chibi sprites of other RPGM games, especially since pixel art scenes make up a large portion of the lewd. Even better, the game has some 2DCG scenes as well. And the art is excellent.

The story itself is basically your Oblivious NTR set up where the naive MC goes around to find scenes for the player to watch (but MC doesn't realize what's happening). There is also some corruption mystery which is unveiled slowly. There are plenty of side characters that add to the variety as well.

My only real complaint is the lack of chat history and not enough save points during long sequence of scenes that happen one after another. If I bust a nut, I want to save and come back later, you know?

All in all, this is an excellent NTR RPGM which should appeal to anyone who enjoyed the works this was inspired by.

Has amazing potential.

When people say "this is a slow burn VN", they're very correct. The game is about 8hrs long currently and it. . . is. . . very. . . . slow. You play as a really naïve and clueless guy who lives in a village where basically all of the inhabitants love sex except you because you barely have any idea what it is.

The two main girls are Yui, a childhood best friend who has a crush on you, and Marin, your step sister. Their corruption by evil/horny NPCs is well thought out and worth the reward. There are also a bunch of side girls as well who have their own stories.

I didn't find the porn content particularly thrilling, but that's just me. The scenes are very short and oftentimes are not the focus of the scene. There's dedicated, slightly animated scenes with 2D art for the more important girls, but beyond that, there is a lot of pixel art. I'm the kind of guy who likes to jerk it to dedicated scenes that actually last an amount of time, but the early content of this game is filled with small sex scenes that I didn't really care to jerk off to.

This isn't to say the game is bad, as it's relatively early in development and there will definitely an increase to the amount of porn as the story goes on, but I'm just saying.

top tier slow burn corruption game.
I've played a lot to currption's games and this one is top of the list.

The only drawback, there is only oral for now
