The whole Juvia/Akane story, including the soldiers is the worst part I feel. I usually try and skip past it, but there's so much of it and it weighs the story down. I prefer the corruption parts. With the soldiers it's just drunken gangbangs. I don't get anything out of shadow puppet porn either. I really don't understand why people would want that. It's really just filler. I hope the next story has nothing to do with soldiers.

Yeah, I can't disagree with that. On the one hand I understand that Yui and Marin need to be exposed to sexual activities outside of their interactions with Enlai and the bar owner to normalize that kind of behavior and increase their temptation, but on the other hand so much time is spent on it that it leads to updates feeling like a waste of time because of how much of a focus is given to Juvia being a giant slut and Akane giving token resistance. I'm also not a huge fan of the grandpa's maid getting involved in things. Like I get why she might be a slut since she's clearly the grandpa's long term sexual partner and he's packing heat, but having her appear in her own scenes apart from him doesn't feel like it's in service to the corruption of Violet or the girls.

My hope for the next story beyond this game is that it's not a "corruption of the village" scenario and is instead the corruption of a household. Keep things contained to a core cast of characters and only venture beyond it on occasion.

Currently there is not much to do in the free mode, i.e. you can talk to the characters and look for the freeroam events around town (The fairy in the MC's room tells you where they are), you can collect the shiny things to unlock the memory events, but otherwise there is nothing else.

Inatari left a little aside that section while advancing in the main story of the game, but soon we will have more content for the free mode, we just have to wait for it.

I found these disappointing when I first saw them. Not because I thought the art was bad, it's at least as good as the rest of the CGs in CotV... I was disappointed because Enlai is no longer so ugly that he is a different art style. He's still ugly as fuck but his ugliness has been normalized.

if you ever become a subscriber by subscribestar or patreon and access to discord, in the suggestions channel you could leave a comment about the return of the smegma and that it is uglier, maybe he will take it into account, many months ago i remember reading someone complaining about the smegma and a few others gave him like or reason, I don't know if this had something to do with it but maybe inatari took it into account and decided to remove it, or, it was just his own decision, I would really love to comment on that channel too, but I think I will subscribe next month for the next update haha
