5 - CORRUPTION:
You can check the corruption status of the main characters in the menu, along with:

??? Well I certainly can't there is no option for that. It said the same thing at the end of the childhood tutorial. Am I doing something wrong? Is this not implemented yet or is it something super obscure? The only thing I can't check is the memory points that have a suspicous down-arrow but no way to interact. Not sure what that is for.
You could check the corruption levels of Yui and Marin until recently. For whatever reason it was removed with the 5.2 update.

I'd assume because there wasn't really much of a reason for it, with the game so far being linear and showing virtually everything.

I wouldn't say that. The game is never not going to be linear and if there was an option to obscure things one would assume that the corruption status would never be updated simply because we shouldn't know what they're up to if we're not seeing it. My expectation is that the removal is either accidental or due to them being changed. I don't believe anyone has asked the question as to why they are missing to Inatari.

Yes, this should have been one big update. I didn't have any feeling for what was going on. Maybe its just ntr games in general. It's not about a decline in art, or story. I've been trying to branch out, and see what different genres offer. I think I can safely say this is not the genre for me. I'm not going any where though, I want to see those goddamn goblins :KEK: (and annoy the subscribers on the thread :HideThePain:)

Understandable. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy NTR, there's really no "for everyone" elements to it. I like the corruption aspect which is why I inevitably get bored once the games reach the sex stage. I'm not a masochist who would enjoy being cheated on and thus I don't find the emasculation often present in NTR particularly interesting. I like the women falling to pleasure and seeing the personality change... and that's about it.

It's the struggle for chastity and purity and the forces working against it that brings all the intrigue :KEK: But yeah literally same
probably shared similar views before in the thread:
https://f95zone.to/threads/the-corruption-of-the-village-v0-5-4-inatari-tales.161481/post-16476967

once we're past the 'sex' , it becomes about the push and extent of depravity. I think it arises more from some kind of porn conditioning. Heck I was originally in it for the goblins :KEK: and still await the day when dukall enalai the priest etc shed their human skins :HideThePain:

on another note, the suffering and misery aspect is pretty frustrating/annoying if not despicable instead of being entertaining :BootyTime:. The plot could hold some inevitable time rewinding thing could be fun to play around which is often seen in the genre bringing more content (headcanon). That whole cave thing reminds of the shitflix dark show lol

Edit:
Inb4 newfags/newcucks find the thread and start debating over pace & art all over cycle repeat when it eventually appears at the latest tab as soon as the thread gets updated.

I like ntr so much, except that game about the weak guy that the blonde douche set him a trap and everyone abandoning him and he make a deal with a demoness and finally kill the douche just to be killed and betrayed by the childhood friend, that game i dont remember the name almost destroyed me, usually ntr developers mix a little comedy to light the tension but that game was pure darkness to me :S

you can keep saying it's not the art as long as you want, like you there are many others here that insist on defending the art (lmao). but it is the art.

ps. the simple fact that you even mentioned "it's not about the decline in the art" is enough to see that that's EXACTLY what you're really saying
