Took me a while to finish it. Mostly as there were so many scenes and they were all rather good then simply had no energy to marathon the game . I did enjoy the FMC quite a lot and straightforward gameplay with grind made fun as there were scenes on different things that depended on your lewdness level. One of the better H-rpg games as it offers tons of good scenes, solid corruption, cute & hot FMC, great CGI quality and simply fun setting.

The Curse of Kubel [v2.02+DLC] [Yasagure Kitsuenjyo/Kagura Games]
Excellent drawings, good story, but too many dialogues and flashbacks one after the other.
Not even in "normal" games are there so many dialogues without something to break the rhythm (fights, images, exploration, cutscenes, etc.).
In a game of this category, the story is important but it is a secondary factor.
After many flashbacks and dialogues the game improves in this respect, and no longer only inserts dialogues and flashbacks but it is too late.
Not even in a visual novel are there so many dialogue without anything breaking, like a choice or something.
I admit I've skipped a lot of dialogue in this game, but I think that's the norm.
Many games on the site have a lot of dialogue, but mixed well with images or scenes, not just one or the other.
That said, I don't recommend the game.

Amazing game if you enjoy reading your porn (which I do, hence five stars)

Pros:

1. Very good writing (at least for NTR). I would even say it is the selling point. Game actualy builds up relationship between mc and her love interest, which is sadly something many games of this genre omit.
2. Decent art

Cons:

1. Very few CG sets - just 15. They get repetive VERY fast
2. Dungeon gameplay - again very repetitive, you just navigate coridors and manage stats... that's it.
3. You have to grind sex scenes. Although I can apreciate this for story reasons (slow corruption of heroine) it is just annoying.

The Good:

1. Average pics. Not many but what little images there are they're ok.

2. Some sounds during scenes

3. Being able to see what the FeMC she was thinking in a stat menu was refreshing and interesting.

4. The character development is good. The game dedicates a good amount of time to build the relationships and shows you the origins of the characters friendship.

The Bad:

The game has a lack of images. It's the same recycled images over and over again with very little of anything new. They introduce characters and never present images of them. They have some sex scenes with characters other than the FeMC however they never show the images, only the big pixel RPG image with dialog at the bottom. It's lazy and annoying.

The Ugly:

First I've played numerous NTR games and numerous games with rape in them and this complaint isn't about that. The story of this game where the villain uses magic not to corrupt but to disarm the FeMC so he can rape her repeatedly is messed up. The villain just comes out and says she "consented" event though she cried out "No". With the villain dismissing it and then saying she'll like it eventually. Again.... messed up.

OK, normally I don't really like NTR but this one is pretty good. The girl is nice and a tsundere. You need some work to clear it with the best ending but thats okay. The pictures look good and I like some of the scenes.

After 2 hours of zero sexual contents and lots of memories, I even doubt this is one of those "clean version". But such slow burn makes it so immersive as you move forward. You can relate to the MC and protect her, trying everthing to reach best ending. In my point of view this is much better than those top VN games on this website.

The slow burn corruption is really enjoyable in this. Plenty of scenes, great writing. I was super satisfied with this game, though I don't think I'll be attempting multiple endings. I found myself thinking about the game a lot when I wasn't playing it.

I enjoyed the game and played it multiple times, trying to get every ending. I never did find out exactly what the "fuck buddy number 16" ending is as even when I had that memory and I still got the same D ending as before.

I enjoyed the gradual corruption of the main character. While it was quite a grind there was just enough variation and progression to keep me interested.

The voice actress did a nice job (though as always it was way over the top) and the overall audio was a strength of the game. However, the sound they used for bodies slapping together was far too much of a sharp slap and got pretty annoying after a while.

Excellent art, and despite technically being an 'ntr game' it's honestly more Mdom/Fsub than ntr, with the unfortunate boyfriend barely featuring after the intro.

My only complaint is a tenancy to overuse the CG's a little much, but as I say, the art is good.

Gameplay: For the most part it is a game of risk-and-reward and resource management. When enemies touch you, they burn to ash, reducing your MP. When you move, you gain Lust. If MP reached 0, you're booted from the randomly generated dungeon. If Lust reached 100 then you're booted AND forced to have sex with Bazria. So you want to deep into the dungeon to prepare for the last day of the week, and then use all your resources to get to the end safely, and then do that at lest 6 times. That was very tedious for me, as randomly generated dungeon meant that the design is both long and boring. The Maiden's Secret and observation/commentary was good, and was part of the hook for the game for me other than the FeMC's character design.

Story: It's... semi-interesting. There's a good amount of backstory to the magic, the FeMC Magetano's family, the cucked guy Cero's family, as well as their history throughout the years. I'll admit that I got invested in them, enough that True Ending (Ending A)'s surprise twist made me super salty that it immediately deducts my rating by one star. I really like the theme of taboo, dreams, and regrets - which is why I felt that Ending A is such a betrayal because it isn't a happy ending after the twist in the last ten seconds.

Characters: At first they interest me, but the problem is that the runtime was just too long. Magetano has a good backstory in how she's trying to save her mother without realizing that she's going to die as a result of it as well, while Cero was doing his best to save Cero despite what he needs to do to get it. The growth of their relationship in the backstory was charming, and it was fun to see Cero slowly growing a backbone while Maget softens up. Bazria, OTOH, just didn't appeal to me, his first impression was just too bad and after that it was just "admit it, you like sex with me," the entire way while Maget was just "Don't want to admit it but forced to from pleasure," all the way. There's really no other sex partners other than masturbation so 60 sex scenes of slow-pace corruption of which I don't care for the one corrupting the girl just did not appeal to me.

Overall: Don't go for Ending A, it's not worth it, and it might just sour you on the game. If you're going to play this game, just go for B or C, and not try to force yourself to A or D. But overall I can't really recommend this game, even if I really like the FeMC's character design.

First of all, this game is VERY grindy if you do not want to whore out your MC for the <30 lascivious points ending.

PROS: Very good CG (Some repeats but still acceptable since art is good)

CONS: Game gets REALLY grindy the closer you get towards the end
RNG on the stages can sometimes screw you over resulting in some save/load manipulations
Really only 1 guy in the whole game for the NTR. Kinda boring tbh.

Overall worth the play. If you don't feel like grinding I would suggest using a cheat engine to save time because most of the time you are just grinding for gold to get enough items etc.

This game takes a while to get going and the dungeon gets repetitive. Furthermore you need to frind some common scenes to get to the next one with art which feels unnecesary. Also not the biggest fan of the endings, Bwas probably my favorite while it should be better in C and D. Despite all this this game is really good in what it wants to do. The Maidens secret was a nice addition to the usual keeping track of sexual stats. The art was good and the scenario was good too. Liked the fact that it was just one partner for a change, makes the ntr more realistic. This game just does what it sets out to do and while it has some points for improvement it really was a fun and worthwile experience for me.

I'm a huge NTR fan so when I heard about this game I picked it up immediately. I'm extremely lenient with H games so it doesn't take that much for me to say a game is good. So when this game was a giant disappointment I felt that I should warn others.
I enjoyed the game at the start because of the great opening, setup and the first few sex scenes however the game quickly wastes its potential.
You can only have sex with one guy, the scenes are extremely repetitive and lacking in unique CG, it's mostly variations.
Endings were kinda meh, people were hyping it up but the reveal and payoff weren't that devastating.
I thought many of the sex scenes were meh, especially after Maget starts getting corrupted, it was just the same fucking CGs over and over again, and this get especially apparent if you're trying to go for Ending D first, I got Ending B first.
The scenes are also boring since it's just the same dude Barzia over and over again. Normally in NTR doujins, he would've gotten to the point where he'd want to humiliate her more by prostituting her out or letting other guys fuck her or some shit. The first blowjob scene was a good opening for this, a rule is created where she can regain MP by giving blowjobs, so you'd think you'd start to be able to suck off guards or the other adventurers or townsfolk right? Nope. Still stuck with only one character to fuck. Anal only starts to feel good for her way too late into the game like past ending C late.
The game has horse sprites there so at the start I figured they might do a horse fucking scene just to show how corrupted Maget has gotten but nope, nothing.
Now let me remind you again, I'm an NTR fan, I came into this expecting good NTR. However for real NTR fans, you may find too many of the scenes boring content wise and repetitive and they seriously waste that great setup.
Ending A the supposed good ending is done well until the twist at the end. Technically there isn't any real good ending unless what you interpret what happens at the ending of Ending D as good, then I'd say Ending D is the good ending, A is the disappointing bad ending. I wish they gave us an Ending S or some shit so you could do a virgin run. I know the point of ending A was supposed to be bittersweet but as a player trying to get the supposed 'good' ending, it wasn't worth the hassle or trouble, game needs a real good ending. if they really wanted to play up that twist, they should've made the kid grope her or some shit to play up the NTR aspect more.
The cast is wasted, the innkeep basically is non existent despite being a whore as well, that's a wasted threesome scene right there. There also have a scene where you fuck inside the inn over Cero, but it's only done ONCE. The game won't let you enter the inn with Barzia. I also wanted to see the innkeeper's reaction. Also the NPCs eating in the inn never react as the game progresses.

No other real characters are brought in so you're stuck seeing Barzia and Marget the entire game which is EXTREMELY dull.

The game sold well so maybe there'll be a sequel or something, but I felt like I wasted 10 hours on nothing. I seriously thought this would be a good game after getting my first ending (B) but after getting all 4 endings and all the scenes, the entire game was a giant disappointing piece of shit.
I endings I got in order were B, C, D and A

Pros:

• The art. Like with most RPGM games the art is fantastic, more specifically the emotions character's express on their face feel more real due to the art.
• The gameplay. While I do miss traditional fight's of RPGM games I like the idea of a capped mana system where you're forced to sully yourself if you want to be dependent on mana as it presents a unique feeling of tension, especially considering who you're giving yourself to.

Cons:

• Lots of cut-scenes are unnecessarily slow taking away any and all immersion.
• In certain situations you might get a syntax error which effectively wipes all progress you made in between saves, it's what caused me not to bother finishing the game.
• Text in this game is broken as all hell, sentences don't even finish sometimes, and words can just run right off the dialogue box and be entirely invisible making the sentence unreadable.

If it weren't for the syntax errors I probably wouldn't be left thinking this isn't a good game.

Decent NTR/corruption game, unfortunately too much reusing of CGs.

Regarding the translation, I don't know Japanese so I can't judge on the accuracy, but there are a number of (to me) noticeable typos and grammar issues, not to mention the lack of care in text wrapping. In addition, there are few crashes caused by using 'fast mode' (holding Z or Enter) that isn't fixed by the patch.

The writing is pretty good, but there are some continuity issues due to being able to freely see events in any order (for the most part). For example, you can see an event with a high corruption level that changes the relationship between characters, and then you can see one with a much lower corruption level where their relationship is as it was in the beginning.

All in all, could've improved the game a lot with more varied CGs, more polishing to the translation and getting the fast mode bug fixed.

Fools don't know good NTR games when they see it.
This one has it all.
Good writing, an original concept for the genre, and interesting game mechanics that make it stand out from the horde of mediocre RPGM titles.
It's a slow burner, in that it takes a while to get going, but the long intro helps introduce the strong main cast of characters, and their relationships before shit starts getting fucky.
All in all, a pleasant surprise.

It's a pretty solid NTR game with great visuals and a pretty good corruption mechanic and quite a few scenes. Unavoidable NTR for at least one scene. Character corrupts in what feels like a well paced manner and not "3 fucks and you're falling head over heels for the guy" type of NTR which seems to be present in a lot of NTR games. A journal of the MC's feelings is present as well which adds a nice layer into the insights of her corruption and feelings on the corrupter and her childhood friend/"boyfriend".

My only gripe with this game is that between corruption "levels" you can get sort of randomized scenes which is really nice, however the more corrupted your character gets it seems like the higher chances you get of having a "syntax" error and the game crashing so you'll have to save often between scenes.

Before I tell you why this game is 5 stars for me, firstly every bad thing you've heard about this game is true. Let's just go through it first:

- Re-used CGs. This is the biggest problem for me, a game of this scope done with such love, and the sex scenes themselves are kind of a let down.
- Second biggest problem - this game is grindy as hell. Even if you want 'the easy way' out, you need to grind through so many events just to get all the CGs. This, combined with the re-used scenes and CG, will make you want to tear your hair out.
- Scenes are light on variety and fetish, and there's only the one really big aspect of NTR/cheating that is done extremely well
- One sexual partner/situation
- Unavoidable rape
- If you read the text you have to play an hour before encountering the point of the game, and that point is when sex starts to become a factor (if you skip you can be faster)

OK so why 5 stars? I think what the game does well is so unique in its vision and scope that it's worth playing, even just to see the mechanics and play through a little bit of the corruption before you quit.

Firstly the story. This is a classic NTR set-up but it's one of the most nuanced NTR story told, with plenty of plot mechanics to justify each of the 3 members in the NTR triangle's position. I come away having played all the endings thinking to myself "wow, everybody was pretty sensible here". There is a clear way to play for the virtuous route and a way to go for the 'easy way' and become a whore. This is standard but everything is just really well done.

I'll give you some examples of delightful game additions that make it special. There is a 'sex memoir' diary where you can see the heroine's mindset about the men and sex throughout the events of the story, and for me this is probably the best part of the game. There are also people throughout the game that will react to your actions throughout the game which is very fun and novel to go through (this is such a massively missed opportunity, that the NPCs did not play a greater role in the scenes/corruption). The dungeon fighting would have made this game unplayable were it not for the genius of the randomly generated dungeons and speedy logic gameplay; this is still grindy as hell but this is the best dungeon grinding you'll get, too.

The writing is fantastic in this game too, credit to Kagura Games for the translation. You're going to be reading a lot so it better be good.

Maybe this is the best way to play it: get through the first hour, until the full point of the game is laid out in front of you, maybe play around with the game a bit for fun, then just install a full save and check out some of the scenes in between and the endings (I found the endings to be quite entertaining, though many will be disappointed at the virtuous ending). It's strange because I think anybody who enjoys corruption or NTR or a well written game would like this, but at the same time it's way too long and grindy and repetitive to justify the full play.

Normally I'm fairly leniant when reviewing hentai games. This one really didn't interest me or hold my attention though.

The Good:
-The art is excellent. It can't be faulted.

The Bad:
-There is only one character with which the girl can have sex.
-There is almost no variety to the sex scenes. It essentially comes down to fucking indoors, fucking outdoors, and masturbation.
-The variety of sex acts is extremely limited.
-I'm all for storytelling and worldbuilding, but minimum 1 hour before there is even a sliver of erotic content doesn't make for good hentai game design.
-The gameplay revolves around you walking through a dungeon insta-gibbing everything you touch while managing a supply of mana. To me the gameplay felt like its sole purpose was to stretch out the length of the game even more.

I wouldn't recommend spending time playing this one unless you are a hardcore fan of NTR.
