Look, I get that this game has already been in development for a while, but FYI, putting the end turn/day button right next to the leave inn button is just bad UI design... not saying the end day button needs to be moved, but seriously, at least separate the two options better.

Also, in terms of more bad UI design, the size of the sound bar options in the options screen is hilariously tiny, so tiny that changing the volume is practically a mini-game! Also, game doesn't let me choose the windowed option even though it is literally showing as an option.

3/5 girls are now missing after this update. Anyway to get them back? Or do I need to regrind this out. Been playing since first drop. Really don't want to loose all the progress.

There's a known bug when a customer she's serving leaves the inn and takes the girl with them if you serve the customer on the last day of the customer's stay. If you force quit and reload the girl should come back.

Very strange, I've never encountered anything like this before. I play from scratch every time after the release of the next update. Variant 1: your save is corrupted. Variant 2: during downloading or unpacking was corrupted archive with the game.

Possible solution (not sure what will help) - try to reload the game. A more complicated option - edit the save file. If it doesn't help, you will have to replay the game from scratch. If you don't want to play tree chopping minigames, you can always get money by editing the save file. Then you buy tools in the store, dig up an artifact in the graveyard and then everything goes very easy.
So what's the trick to deciphering Issa's parchment?
It's a very easy puzzle, but if you don't want to bother, try this: saffron.

The mining game is terrible.
First the controls need to be clearly explained to the player.
Second there needs to be a way to strike directly above the player, either intrinsically or through purchaseable tools.
I wholeheartedly agree. I'm at the point where I literally hate that mini-game. So far I've managed to find several amethyst to Opals, but no diamond.

The major problem is due to the way the minigame is structured. You have to dig in a stair pattern away from the elevator which gives a very narrow area for the diamond to appear in. Additionally the RNG for the item is terrible so it's just an excercise in pointless grind. The controls are garbage - you can only strike left or right or jump one space above. Add to that the lack of an energy bar to see how many strikes you have remaining and it makes the player rage-quit. To do an update without making the minigame playable AND locking a recruitable character around it is infuriating. I normally test these builds thoroughly and post any bugs I find but in this case the feature is the bug. I'm done with this build, my advice to Falconetti is do a bugfix build and fix these problems before adding more content. If you want an example of good design in a 2D mining game (mini-game or not) take a couple of hours and try out Terraria. That's the concept done right. Honestly, if you don't want to make it easy on the player, have the dwarf sell items, (Waybread, scaffolding, ropes, bombs, etc.) You need ways to drain the coffers in the mid and late game anyway. Having disposable items for that minigame would be a way to do it, another would be give the option to the player to skip the minigame entirely and buy the diamond from the Dwarf directly. Charge 50 to 100k for it. I'd rather grind 100k from the inn than do that minigame again in its current state.

The last game, which I passed from scratch after each update, was (I can't mention the name, according to the forum rules) the second game by Faerin. Who knows, he will find the project I mentioned.

This is the second such game. And, in my opinion, it is superior to the project I mentioned. Yes, the mini-game with the mine requires improvement. I'll be honest - I got the diamond by editing the save. But we need honest gameplay.

Great project, looking forward to the next update.

The mining game is terrible.
Yeah, it's clearly barely WIP. There's even some sort of depravity bug caused by mining, pretty much every time I mine, it increases the depravity of a random girl for some reason... plus no way of knowing when the dude gonna pass out. The dwarf doesn't even explain how the mini-game works, the dialogue just says "newNode" instead of showing questions to answer.

Plus, you know, he passes out but doesn't die... you'd think the dwarf would charge his ass a few toads for saving him from dying? Or is he passing out from exertion, not like bad air? Cuz if you pass out from exertion, why would you lose a gem??

Edit: Speaking of bugs, has anyone noticed that when you unlock the alternate images through completing the girl's quests, the game doesn't change/load the new image set until you restart the game?

Edit 2: I guess the game just doesn't default to the newer image options once unlocked except on restart. A player can still choose them from the override menu without restarting... assuming you have a decent mouse. The override menu is hilariously tiny!!!!
