The story starts a bit slow and confusing but it opens up into something unique and beautiful. Luna is the most fleshed character so far and also my favorite. Our romance with her is very adorable and cute and the build up has been insane atm.

I also like the mystery surrounding the mother , our own family and the deluca family. Definitely excited for that. Oh yeah, the render is really fucking great too and the models are hot.

Now the negative ( borderline nitpicking tbh ) :

1. I'd love to explore / develop the 'work' part a bit more , maybe make it connected to the story often or something like that. Would love to actually rise in the rank and command people to do our bidding etc.

2. It's hardly a negative for me but the lack of vaginal sex / sex can actually bother some people to get into this game

This is almost a perfect game for me, i mean if some parts are tidied up and improved it's actually my top 1 in this website no joke. But as it stand it's "only" my top 3. Anyway that's enough from me, hope the dev keep up the good work and the world not ending before this game is finished.

This game can best be described as, at your own pace. This is probably the most chill game on this site when it comes to gameplay. You progress the story when you want to. If you want to kick back, save the story for later, focus on missions, getting paid, and available romance quests, it's at your pace. There's plenty of action, tons of humor, and even mystery in this game. It's a mob game and a very well done one at that. So well done that, to me, it even rivals movies.

There is no sexual content yet, a whole lot of teasing, but no sexual content, yet for reasons that I can't explain, I am not in a hurry for it. Maybe, because the story is that * good, the lack of sexual content is not a big issue for me. I don't know. What I do know is that this game is my favorite VN Ren'Py on this site.

So little has been introduced into this game, and yet it interests me. The quality is great, the women are hot, and the story line is... odd, yet still captures my interest. I especially like Isabel's attention, though I am completely against adultery, for some reason, I want to take her away from him. I think she, and the mom, are my top interests. I wish I were able to visit the mom and get closer to her, but she keeps herself well hidden it seems. This is part of my watch list, and I rate it a 4/5 GREAT... which really says a lot considering how little has been introduced at only version 5... Great job so far.

Amazing game so far. Dev put a lot of work into it. The characters are well thought out with decent backstory and mystery for each one. Story is top notch too. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for more as I can't get enough of it. It's rare I show much interest in writing a review or even joining a game's discord etc.. I've done both for this beautiful game.

If you are looking for instant gratification in the form of virtual girls who can’t restrain themselves from jumping onto the main character’s junk, The DeLuca Family might not be for you. As of now, the game is relatively tame in terms of lewdness.

However, what the game already has to offer is a setting which is quite unique among adult games, an innovative take on adding gameplay elements to a virtual novel, and most importantly, a story told with so much skill and effort that you don’t want to skip a single line of text, and this is coming from someone who gets bored rather quickly.

If you allow it to, this game will make you actually care for its characters - and at some point in the future, when these fine ladies will start dropping their clothes in front of you, it will be all the more rewarding.

Loved the story in the game, especially Luna's background. This and Being a Dik are my favourite games on this site.

Also I loved how well the sandbox part of the game is done. I usually hate sandbox games, they tend to be very unclear with what to do and the story becomes a mess. Here everything is very well detailed with the Journal and the Events section.

A Really good game, as from a Dating sim perspective, as from a Story game perspective and as from a "Adult game" perspective. The Characters are really interesting and have all an intresting background, even the MC. Many Plottwists that are suprising and good free roaming make this game one of my favorites of all time.

I really struggled to get into the story. There were parts of the story that were totally WTF with nonsense and hard to believe characters (the bald guy at the end of the detention). This game feels kinda "hysterical" going nuts for whatever reason.

Very interesting game. Only gripe i have is that there are little to no choices during the action portion of the game. Would also be nice if the equipment was shown in the actual game (such as the characters weapons and clothing) rather than just being stat modifiers. All in all I like the game but with it being so action oriented I would really like for there to be more choice as far as the fighting and missions are concerned. Before finishing the current build (005) I had already raised most of the stats to a really high point yet my character was still useless (for the most part) in the main missions so far, I feel the stats should reflect better in the storytelling.

Still, would definitely recommend this game due to the interesting plot. No sex currently so if you want to bate this isn't the title at the moment (though i usually play these games for the choices not the self gratification).

This is the most entrancing game I've played on this website ever. I put off playing it, because I thought it would be one of those games where nothing interesting happens for 3 hours, and people just liked the slow pace. And yes, it is slow, and even now, there isn't any substantial sex happening. But no, even the smallest touch between characters is overwhelming. Every light kiss on the cheek means butterflies. And every slightly sexy picture of any of the girls is enough to bring a boner back.
And I was just talking about the sex part of the game. And with all I can say about it, I can still easily say that this game is the perfect exemple of the expression "came for the sex, stayed for the plot". This is from another world.

This one is a great game. It is extremely unique in the world of adult VNs. It hardly is focused on just having sex, but actually towards building a relationship, a story, a game. This game will have you laugh with the funny conversations with Wilfred, this game will have you in tears because of someone's past. This game is special; it makes you truly give a damn about virtual characters. One huge part of this, is the MC. He doesn't talk much, but when he does he is either funny or caring. He seems like a great dude and it is extremely refreshing to have an MC worth a damn.

This game is the only one that I actually love the sandbox element. The way it works with the contracts and small side missions is such a great change of pace. There is progression with leveling after missions, there is a designated continue story button to start which allows you to take a breather after heavy moments by doing a side quest or whatever.

There is so much in this game that impresses me. The game does a great job of portraying a relatively realistic world and giving each character a distinct personality, the characters are beautiful, inside and out and I am consistently excited for the next mission, even the side quests. I can hardly explain how crazy the quality of the current end of Luna's stories was. It was out of this world. Even after the second playthrough, I really was saddened by it. That alone makes the game amazing for me. This game has potential to easily become the best game on the site; I imagine some people consider it that already.

All in all, the game has a world of potential and as long as the devs continue what they're doing this will easily be one of the best adult games ever.

Who would have thought a "crazy rampaging killer" would be the most interesting and deep character in the game? The level of thought needed to create such a complex character is off the charts.

One of the best adult games. It has a nice storyline and interesting characters. The character models are nice. The coding skillfully incorporates both sandbox and visual novel elements. It's a slow burner with a lot of character development so don't expect to jump into bed with the girls out of the gate. It's also a very original story.

I usually prefer the comments section to share my thoughts about any game, but for this one I'll make an exception. The strongest side of this game is that it engages you on an emotional level, makes you feel genuine feelings and allows you to bond with the characters. I mean who hasn't laughed at the dialogues with Wilfred or shed a tear (or two) while going through Luna's tragic childhood story, right? And the game's carefully selected music greatly enhances the whole experience. I can't even say that the lack of sex so far is a bad thing considering how good the story is and the creator's commitment to deliver a quality product without turning it into a regular porn with cheap dialogues to kill the time between sex acts. The story will definitely make room for sex at some point, but I have a good feeling that there will be a good balance between them. Easily gets 10/10 from me as it has spoiled me to such a level that I started to expect more from my other favorite porn game titles.

Mafia themed game, I love these but the quality of this one overwhelms me. Although I like Luna so much that I may fail to detect some mistakes.

Render are incredible, so is the music. Animations so far there aren't much considering there is nearly zero sexual content.

The main story is phenomenal, every girl looks good their personality is diverse. The scenes are funny when can be, serious when needed.
A gallery would be a very cool feature, whether on the menu or the quest log. On the latter, if you click on the quest you could watch the event again. (just a suggestion ).
Luna is my #1 followed by Isa, Cat seams an entertaining character.

best game i ever played , most game ether talk too much ( making it boring ) or just go for the sex ( i just say hi to the girl and for some reason she is on top of me ) , but these game have the best story that make me finish the game in one day i couldnt stop playing , the story is awesome the adult scene is amazing and do make sense ( like yah that could happen in real world not just a porn scene for no reason, and that make you go deep with the story ) .

All in all this game is literally a masterpiece that its worth dedicating time to learn about its story.

Visual Novel. We use to tag porn games with this label but every once in a while a bright young author comes along and reminds us what storytelling really is about and uprises VN beyond mere lewd scene counter. HopesGaming The DeLuca Family is such a jewel and it is amongst my most appreciated and anticipated games. So far this is just the second game that made me weep for a character and its fate. Do yourself a favour and not skip over the scenes in search of sex scenes - you will miss so much and only end up disappointed. Take your time, follow the characters and go on a journey with HG.

Good Points
+ We had pretty interesting and well-written story... Yeah ''had''...
+ We have well-written and likeable love interests.
+ We have pretty good sense of humor with a lot of funny characters, like Wilfred, Gracie, etc.
+ Luna's past story was quite brutal, sad, and well-written same time.
+ Gracie's and MC's romance was interesting.
+ After MC saved Eiza's little sister and kind of saved her life as well she wanted to become MC's soldier, since he is just lowly Saldato (which makes no sense at all) she couldn't, but Cordia told her she can become his unofficial soldier and we saw some funny and interesting scenes involved with this, like she calling him BOSS, following around, etc.
+ How MC's way of thinking & Gracie's way of thinking can complete each other and they could be very deadly combos was pretty interesting.


Bad Points
- Visual quality wasn't even looking good 6 years ago, and today it looks pretty bad and old.
- One of the problems this game had was having too much text and very little content to accompany that wall of text, like images, animations, gameplay, etc, and this new Text RPG System only makes things worse than it is, in this new system there is a pile of texts you have to read for knowing things about the story with looking blank black screen and it's straight up painful to endure.
- You can't save while you are doing contracts, which is quite nonsense, especially considering those contracts have some story in them.
- The game doesn't have a time-skip button and you gotta skip time by going to your room, opening your laptop, and clicking the ''relax for a while'' button every time, quite an annoying and nonsense design.
- The lewd part of the game is like a big fat joke. MC hasn't had sex with non of the main girls yet even after 6 years of development, and even the ''sex scenes'' are not good at all nor worth watching, some sex scenes have a couple of animations, but they are far from being decent. Aside from certain newly-made sex scenes most of the lewd content is quite bad, and sadly body design of most of the girls is unattractive not help either, we don't have a talented artist here and the game art style looks like at least 10 years old, and make the matters worse even most of fan arts are far better than this game art style and quality...
- In some scenes, MC looks like a 13-year-old boy, it looks quite bad and flawed, the scene where MC was talking with Isabel in Jeweler is a good example of that.
- Journal/Guide is annoying to use, you always have to open and scroll down for some time to see the quest details, etc, I don't get why the design is not been changed for 6 years, it's clear this is bad design, they could at least add sections for every path so we wouldn't need to scroll down over and over again and just click the section name to see quests, etc.
- Your choices don't matter, %95 of the content is forced, and despite MC having a self-inserted name you can't change anything about him at all.
- The existence of Filius Canis just to insult people who criticize the game was ridiculous and cringy...
- MC is someone very hard to like, he has great potential, and time for time he is quite a likable guy, but he acts cowardly, is weak, wins most fights with barely, constantly lying people (even people who knew what he did with straight face) and constantly trying to look weaker than he is so people will underestimate him, not accepting the things he achieved and instead saying ''I just ran, how could I win?'' etc, makes him very hard to like. And his constant ignorance about not killing people, constantly facing life-death situations, and doing nothing and getting saved by higher-ups, despite the story telling us he is a smart guy makes no sense either. Writers keep playing on making MC struggle, act like a coward, let people underestimate him, and then win with the last couple of moves, and it's a pretty cliche anime protagonist tactic used in the 90s! It's ancient style & boring AF, nearly every fight MC is in the same and he is showing no progress at all. His with Quasi-Capo or fight with Fawkes are great examples of it.
- Despete the game developing for 7 years we have no real story progress at all and a lot of things are done poorly. MC had no training, despite things that happened he should have been Elite Soldato, but the max rank we have now is lowly Soldato rank, the story did only progress worth 1 year of development time and it almost feels like this is a newly developing game rather than 7 years old game, after all those years we still know nothing about MC's contract, his father nor her mother (aside from she is one of the serpents) even after 6 years this game has more questions than answers and it's just unacceptable, if things go at this speed this game will never end, and this is probably biggest bad point this game has, development-wise it's big mess and goes nowhere.
- So called season 1 done after 6 years had a cliffhanger ending where Gracie got shot, there was a lot of blood and the event name was ''Death of a Princess'' yeah... In 6 years this game should have ended with a proper ending, but instead, DEV gives a cliffhanger season 1 ending...

For The End
Honestly, this game is a big damn disappointment and a waste of great potential, it had great potential years ago and it could have been one of best adult games out there, but thanks to terrible development of the game and all those bad points I talked about this game couldn't reach that potential, story-wise it has some good details and lore, and if the story was going somewhere and we were getting story content for real instead of getting nothing for years despite shortcomings it could be average at least, but since even the most powerful part of the game is lacking I see no point over wasting time on this game, especially for a new player this is game to stay away considering it goes nowhere. If this was a new game I would say bad points can be fixed with time and wouldn't be this harsh on it, but considering it's developing for 6 years these bad points are unacceptable, I would advice people to stay away from it and not wasting any time with it.

I'm always waiting that game reaches 0.5 in its development cause prior to that we can't give a really objective view.

With that, I don't think I should have been waiting for so long with TDF - this game has "masterpiece" written all over it from the start and Hopes proved he's among top 5 devs in term of quality. You can argue about which game has the best models or the best story but you can't argue who has the most real and the most loved girl of all - there is just one Luna DeLuca.
