The Holy Pants are necessary, but he'll also need full stats from the best gear available. Lock Glasses from Nimble Fingers, etc.
You don't have to fail the stat check in The Delivery Boy, you can just ignore Sister Amata.
yeah, i rember that specific check drove me crazy at the time lol, i just couldn't find out how to get any more points in stealth until i discovered them pants

His subscriber numbers definitely diminished in recent times because people were getting fed up(rightfully so). now he has 330 subscribers that still probably yields him a nice chunk of change. A year ago he was likely making a very very nice amount each month. When he launched the game the updates were quite frequent with a nice amount of content being added. Like 4 to 5 updates a year. Then suddenly he was only able to make 1 a year with a laughably small amount of content added each time. I really liked this game because it had a great story and visuals. But at some point Hopes just decided that this is something he doesen't want to put any decent effort in anymore and just gave up and collected cash each month
Do you really not see the pattern here? All these amateur projects started at around the same time, all grinding to a screeching halt after two or three years of rapid progress... He started The Deluca Family during Covid while stuck indoors and unemployed. Then after the lockdowns were lifted, he got a real job again and no longer had the time and energy for personal projects. It's what happened to all these games.

You mean that COVID 19 didn't start in 2018??
Who could've known! :LOL::ROFLMAO:

When development has been as slow as it has, it would be pretty fucking stupid to make it even slower by posting worthless progress reports.
Of course! Its obvious how every single hour counts!

If this game hasn't been abandoned, why doesn't Hopes tell the sad people who stopped paying him on Patreon, or even show them what he's developing? Maybe he likes to lose money. Or maybe he never really stopped developing the game, but doesn't care enough about the people who pay him, the fans, to publish a dev post once a month.
I don't know which is worse.
once every 3 months for me. a month goes by fast, i understand as an ex-patron if devs doesnt have an update post or a development progress in a month. but if you don't post anything for 3 months that's long enough

i think last i remember he's pausing patreon though

How long ago did he pause it? Has it been longer than 6 months already?

I definitely see a pattern of alternative facts in your post.

All these amateur projects started at around the same time, all grinding to a screeching halt after two or three years of rapid progress... He started The Deluca Family during Covid
This game started well before COVID-19.

while stuck indoors and unemployed.
Dev had a full-time job when he started this game and had always been upfront and clear that this game was a side hobby and to expect slow progress.

Then after the lockdowns were lifted, he got a real job again and no longer had the time and energy for personal projects. It's what happened to all these games.
Dev actually quit his primary job to transition to be a full-time dev.

Let's see, that's 0 for 3.

Maybe next time, try to learn the facts before speaking bullshit.

Well, the last real update was version 0.9 in summer 2023. Everything that came out after that until February 2024, with the release on Steam, was just fixes, improvements, and additions.

I think in May 2024 or summer 2024, a one and only preview image for S2 was released.

i dont remember, november?
There was an announcement on here that he paused it in November. I posted a comments about some devs pausing support in November. I stopped being a patron in the spring of 2024 after months of no updates and comments from the Dev, who is publishing on steam with a different name other than Hopes. I think one of last comments in Patreon was promoting the steam release.
