Well, I was even here back when the dragon memes were still a thing, and made one or two jokes about it but afterwards moved on. Same with 'floaty.' Made couple of fun remarks initially when I spotted that render (and I admit, back then, it was pretty funny
), and didn't really mention floaty afterwards.That's probably the best you can do in my opinion. There's always bound to be something people that will continue to make memes about in DeLuca, if not floaty it's gonna be something else somewhere down the line sooner or later.
So you might as well just get used to it lol.
And if some people have more material to make memes or running gag out of dragons/floaty or anything else, while I have no interest in them, well.....I guess more power to them? Shrugs.....
Basically the meme cycle will continue.
You do realize you could have found out the answer to your question by checking out the tags and the past couple of pages in the forum, right?

The update planned for release this month will require a restart for all players.
Old saves won't work, so you might be better off waiting.

With the next update, all saves that were made with the previous version of the game will be incompatible, so everyone will need to start again from the beginning anyway.
So I'd suggest you wait for that one.

I've seen numerous references to "Floaty"...anyone bored enough to give me a brief synopsis of (his?/her?) origin? I glanced through quite a few pages of previous posts but I guess it must have started further back.

He is an odd one. Not in the game, not canon, I assume and he was only showed twice here.

That aside, That was floaty, I knew it was a rock but I forgot when it appeared in-game, did Hopes fix that or is going to be a re-occurring character?

I think it was a preview image, for one of the earlier episodes. Can't remember if it actually made it into the game?

From what I read, Floaty's story is going to be a seperate game - much darker, more twisted.

It doesn't work. Most IPs aren't static and if you use a VPN then it doesn't work at all.
Also often an IP ban would also affect others who haven't done anything wrong.

(a) not every place has static IPs, so you won't hit him - but maybe somebody totally different (though unlikely they'd also be here).
(b) there are ways around an IP ban, and despite his obvious lack of intellect and creativity, he seems to know at least one of them.

Doesn't seem to be the case, since he keeps making a new account almost instantly after he gets banned.
