I'm smelling a language barrier.

I wondered this, but when the part that I'm disputing is clearly marked with bold and underlined, it should be obvious?
There are 2 claims in his post, only one is disputed.

1. Release date has been moved: Fact. Indisputable.
2. Everyone here pretends it didn't happen: Crap. Disputed.

Accepting that something has happened (& is justified), is not remotely close to pretending that it didn't happen.

Personally hoping it's sooner (we need a hero!), but if I take all the emotions out of the equation, I'd say not until next week.
Though in my case, I'd also have to consider the waiting time for the compressed version as well.

I agree. I have a feeling that patrons on this thread are starting from 'Elite Soldato ($15)' membership level, which means it will be 3 days later at the earliest.

This game has just had a major rework, so current update has taken roughly double the usual time.
Old saves will not work, when new version arrives (hopefully) shortly...
Release frequency is expected to be back to normal, after this one.
Dev does this as a passion project, not as a job, so it's not primary income for him, just fun.

Delay for the update (v0.07, which was released today for certain Patreon tiers) this time is justified because of the massive overhaul in gameplay as well as the usual story event content.
Not sure which version you're playing, but if it isn't v0.07, I'd hold off on playing any further since any saves from previous version will be incompatible with v0.07.

Actually, I think Hopes said he's gonna try to cut down on the wait period between releases so they become quicker, but with less content (this is compared to a normal release of course).
But I think even that he said it is not set in stone always, and would sometimes depends on the story.

So I think after this update, it's reasonable to assume release frequency may just be somewhere within quicker ~ normal range depending on the situation.

Kinda wondering what how he's thinking of in terms of quicker releases.
Don't think releases like Ataegina's dev does would work in DeLuca's case. Perhaps it's something like how LikesBlondes does with his Rebirth episodes releases (like how episode 2 for that game was released in 2 parts)? Hmmmm
