In one Daz product there is a prop which includes a wall with a curtain and a window. I just want to use the curtain for my scene and erase the wall and window.
The wall, window and curtains are one figure where I can hide individual parts, but I cannot delete individual parts.

What is the easiest way to extract only the curtain and erase the rest.?
So far I've only figured out to clear everything except the curtain in the geometry editor. But the problem is that the object hierarchy is preserved, which is annoying in the scene view.
To break the hierarchy, I have to change the figure to prop in the joint editor. At first glance it works, but I do not know if such an object will not cause problems.

Is there any better way to extract only the curtain?
