HTML - Abandoned - The eWardrobe [v0.6.4] [brickdoorway]

Loved it! Story is great, character are interesting and you care about them. The way the character change throughout the story is well thought out, the mental anguish and the happyness he develop is interesting and i could totally see something play out like this. Hope it is not truly abandoned or someone will finish it one day!! I'll definitely replay it at some point.

Amazing writing, character development, and storytelling in general.

Only negative I can think of is that there is very little in the way of actual 'game' mechanics, apart from path-branching and hidden (to the player) stat tracking (based on decisions) which changes how other characters perceive the player, and how the player character perceives the world, as well as locking out/creating additional decisions.

One of the best HTML games I have ever played, well worth playing even though it is abandoned.

One of my favourite games tbh. It's a shame it wasn't finished. The whole wardrobe thing is a bit ridiculous at first but once you buy in it really becomes amazing. Story, writing, characters. Very exciting and hot.

Great game - my favorite on this site. Great Story-telling: it is told from the MC's perspective, with a lot of his thoughts, which reflect the MC's bias and limited self-awareness. These give you a feel for the character's progression instead of an artificial meter.

Very original game - I don't think there is another quite like it. Although there are significant differences, if you like Cursed (RAGS), I think you will like this game.

The author recently contracted another artist which was providing fantastic renders - a little over half of the images are from a previous artist that was not as good.

Great [Re]Playability with three (almost) completely independent routes. There are minor bugs - reading the source code, I noticed that some of the encounters which were scripted are impossible to trigger. No Animations, or Voice Acting. Grammar is excellent. Lastly, there is already a significant amount of content - many hour's worth.

It is a slow game, which has its own appeal, but you probably want to try another if you are looking for instant action.

eWardrobe is a breath of fresh air in the midst of so many HTML transformation games. now, this isn't a life sim, you play as someone else other than yourself. you may pick personal choices from the selections given, but the narrative is Danny's/Danni's and may not always jive with how YOU, the player, feel about a situation. but the story itself is so well written and immersive that you just can't help but continue on.

at the time of writing this review, the game is on version 0.6.4. images are severely limited, and i found myself clamoring for them in a few of the scenes. the art that i did see is actually very impressive and i enjoyed it a lot. i really honestly hope that the dev stays on with this title as it's something special and very cool.

give it a try. if you try read all the paths, there's easily more than 3 hours here, if not more. depends on how fast you read!

This game is way out of my alley due to the limited(non-existent at the time) number of images, but damn if the story isn't good!
Very well written, all your actions seem to matter and the game is deep (even at the time and that was 4-5 releases ago).
I just kept thinking, "ok, there's no way the story will keep going from here" and IT KEPT GOING.
Really impressive work, if you like text based porn games, you have to check out.

This is one of those games where you come for the sexiness (no pun intended) but stay for the d'aww. The story is engaging, the characters are interesting and the main character is one of the most adorable ones I've seen on this site. Couldn't recommend it more.

This game is great and does really well in using the HTML platform for all it's worth. The pros of this game: natural progression of transformation, multiple story lines, and fun interactions and scenes as the story progresses.

The cons: lack of pictures! I know that the game is still in the early stages but it'll be nice to see how the game shapes up once pictures start to get added so that it feels more like a game and less like a guided adventure or something.

Otherwise the game is really great and I've enjoyed the story and the transformations within so far. I'm looking forward to future releases!

I'm not really into transformation, but liking HTML games made me try it anyway. And it was surprisingly good. It plays allot like a corruption game.

It's plays like a VN, so it's not a time sink, like allot of games.
