I don't like harem games. A lot of it is the self-insert aspect that is usually eye-rolling since it's taken to an absurd degree, and I would be remiss to not admit that sharing is a massive turn on for me and the voyeuristic aspect of these games increases the hotness factor as well. Thus, a vanilla harem game that can truly hook me is a rare beast indeed. And that is precisely what we we have here. I love the setting, I love the characters, I don't find the protagonist to be a a bland yet still massively OP stand-in (though the latter half of that statement is true) and I look forward to both the sex scenes AND story scenes.

Positives:
+ Tons and tons of girls with more on the way. The dev also makes sure to make sure each girl gets multiple scenes (some more that others, of course)
+ Fantastic story and characterizations while never forgetting it's still adult entertainment
+ Bush!

= An older version of Honey Select means some rough looking graphics (that said, I LOVE the ladies you can make with HS, so there's honestly problem there for me)

Negatives:
- Sometimes long time between boning and story
- No gallery mode

Overall, if you dig harem games, medieval settings and a bevy of hot chicks to ogle and slam all with an engaging story and characters to follow, you are in for a treat.

Note to devs: Outstanding work here. I love just about every thing you've got going here and I cannot wait to see more. While I know sharing is probably out of the question, if we could get the occasional bath scene like we did with Asambe that would be rad.

This game is a 5-star game simply for the amount of content, the setting, and honestly, the most feasible harem setting I've seen in a game on this site, and it kind of inverts real life in terms of how attention is given and received between the sexes, plus I enjoy the fantasy setting and most of the girls are total dimes and I like the vast array of girls you add to your harem.

That said, there aren't really a lot of choices in this VN, I would have hoped to have more say in who I add to my harem, and because there are so many girls, I feel like the ones I want to spend the most time with aren't given enough chance to shine. Obviously, there are more hits than misses on the girls I would like to join my harem, but I feel like there were definitely a few I wouldn't really want and that's okay. Sometimes you have choices, sometimes you don't. All in all, it's a solid game and I can't rate it below five stars because of how much effort the Dev puts into it, I enjoy the setting immensely, I just wish I had more choice in the grand scheme of things, but I understand that that is a ton of work!

It is a well written fantasy harem game. Although the textures and models are relatively low quality and you can see some clipping here and there the animations are good. Can't wait to see how the story develops. Btw there is A LOT of sex the MC is a real horny dog When you read the tags you may already guessed it but it consists of mostly vanilla sex with a slight tendency to impregnation fetish

I really like games with this type of design, that is, based on honey select, and the synopsis looks interesting. I only played the first part but I have things to say.

THE GOOD
There are a variety of characters (Waifus) with which the protagonist can interact, there are many changes of scenery, different arcs within the main story and above all the protagonist is not a chicken when it comes to wanting to fuck women, although this can be duty to the background of their environment.
The female characters are fine, I mean there is variety in terms of personalities and physical characteristics. Above all the scenes, there are a considerable number of +18 scenes that are very good. However...

THE BAD... or not?
There is too much, too much, TOO much text between scenes +18. I mean, what I'm looking for in a +18 game is not just the scenes but a story that hooks me and that has the added bonus of being erotic or sexual. However, in this case, I ate word for word too many times, I did a calculation with a stopwatch, reading all the dialogues between the sexual scenes that there were and the highest range was 30 minutes of reading between those scenes and yes, there are certainly scenes + 18, but I feel like they are too short for the amount of text there is. There are even super unnecessary conversations that contribute nothing to the plot (I don't remember which ones now, I forgot them because they were so boring). It is excellent that the protagonist has the availability to be able to take any woman he wants and certainly there is a kind of route of a good person and a bad person but as for the protagonist, I do not feel malice, that is, I feel he is too righteous in terms of to moral values in a medieval pseudo-apocalyptic world. I mean the protagonist is told marry X woman and he gets too offended and then leaves her saying, I'm not getting married because I don't know her,
when they once gave her a slave and after 5 minutes she already fucked her and DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HER!!

In general the game is good, there are changes of scenery, interesting stories. but it's too much text for something +18. In that case, I better download a book and simply read it, because if there are sexual scenes and there are quite a few, let's say a 7:3 ratio in terms of text vs scenes. Particularly I'm not going to continue with part 2 because I really ate up too much text in this and if the scenes are too short I don't see the point in continuing.

You can play it and have "fun", but be prepared for a large amount of dialogue.

I want to make something clear, I read the reviews today 01/07/24 and I see that many people give 4-5 stars to this game, I'm going to give it 4 because it seems like something well made to me, BUT FROM MY POINT FROM VIEW, I go back and clarify and repeat FROM MY POINT OF VIEW, it seems like a game that tires you too much to a point where you skip dialogues to see those scenes. I personally do not recommend it if what you are looking for is something with an interesting story and a considerable amount of erotic scenes and +18. But if you are looking to read something long and don't pay too much attention to the sexual scenes, then this is your game.

I have to admit, it started off kind of rough but it gets a lot better as it goes. To begin with the downsides, the graphics, particularly the environments and lighting are ugly. They are very grainy, pixelated and there are a lot of errors with the rendering, like shadows appearing as squares and bugging out on some of the characters. Some of the backround art is indiscernible. The game also suffers from being one of the harem games where there are too many girls instead of focusing on the ones you have. In addition, a lot of the girls make it seem that you are some kind of hot stud but I really don't like the look of the MC. He looks... weird. His eyes in particular are really strange looking, like they are shaped in the wrong way for his face.
Another big issue here is that this game seems to be more akin to a kinetic novel than a VN because you hardly make any choices at all. There are I think a total of like 5 choices you can make? Some of them are really minor and I don't even know if they have any effect on the story of the girls. It doesn't feel like you made a choice besides a few lines of dialogue, I dunno I don't like it. Addtionally, if you are here for the sex stuff then you might be dissapointed because it's pretty stock honey select models and sex scenes. Some of the girls look so identical to the others that I get them mixed up. Others are just... weird looking. There's also like 2 sex positions in the entire game that happen so its pretty tame and vanilla.
Now that the bad is out of the way, what makes this game good? I have to say that the story hooked me in pretty good. The world that was built is pretty awesome. I like the fantasy setting with the hints of darker stuff, like the mold zombies and the bandits and such. I also like the setting and it gives a genuine reason for having a harem and why men are attracting bitches like a magnet. I won't spoil it but it's pretty interesting and makes sense. The only thing that I wish was better was that the story was implemented a bit better. You are kind of thrown into the world without knowing anything, and places, deities, events and so on are talked about as if you should know them, but of course you haven't learned about them yet. Some better worldbuilding, both in lore and in terms of scale of the world could help I think. Ultimately, if you want a sex game only then skip it. If you want a juicy story that I think is well written and interesting as well as some sex stuff then play it for sure. Thanks for reading my wall of text.

Really enjoying this one particularly as the creator has put some thought into the look and character of the MC and he isnt the usual generic Honey Select one.

Also a bit out of the norm in that the MC starts out in an established relationship

Setting is a bit cliched, and the game does rush the relationships a bit, although at least the lack of men in the setting gives an excuse for that

It's almost the AVN version of one of those Cosy Fantasy novels like Beware of Chicken that have become popular recently.

This is an incredibly safe game, but that's not a bad thing. This game is the equivalent of sitting near a nice fire with a cup of your favorite hot beverage. The high fantasy setting is nice, the women are varied and distinct, and the MC is incredibly competent and sweet to his harem. Of course, he's ugly as sin, but you get used to it.
I also appreciate how the harem system is explained by a curse. Not super original, I know, but it's better than 80% of porn protags who screw their way through entire households without slowing down. All in all, The Fiery Scion is a nice break from all the more hardcore games on this site. A cottage-core porn game in a way.

The story is fine, nothing special, the plot pretty much just exists to give the MC an excuse to have a harem. My largest problem with the game is the sex scenes.

There's way too little variety when it comes to animations and sex poses. The dev has decided on ~2-3 default HS animations and that is what you will see for every sex scene with the very occasional outlier. Every threesome is exactly the same pose, both girls side by side on their hands and knees. Definitely needs more variety for me to justify raising my score. The Honey Select 1 default animations became stale years ago.

There's also no kinks aside from the very occasional lesbian scene. If you're a fan of sappy dialog and vanilla sex scenes, this one will be up your alley but it's not up mine. I find it kind of boring and end up just quickly clicking through every sex scene. It doesn't help that the characters I'm interested in are the ones that haven't gotten development.

For a game lacking the kinetic novel tag, there is little to no player agency in this game. You can count the total number of choices on one hand and they have little to no effect on the game. This is the biggest reason for my low rating. I'm not expecting or wanting a hundred different branches in a non-kinetic game, but I do expect some control over the story. This is basically a poorly disguised kinetic novel. You have zero control over any aspect of the game aside from very occasionally avoiding a sex scene with a side character (most you can't avoid, btw, which makes me believe the options only exist to keep the kinetic tag off the game.)

Love the game, fun and engaging story which keeps me wanting more. The sex is an excellent cherry on top.

This game checks all the marks of a great game, you just know a game is crazy when even the plot of a eroge game is extremely good, this game puts 99% of the games in the pregancy tag to shame

Looking forward for more content

This is another game that would benefit from a half star system because while the game is competent (it runs) I would still put it below average.

you will like this game if:
you want your wish fulfillment to feature medieval visuals (without many fantasy races) in average (at the best of times) HS graphics

you want your relationships to be "Meet Girl plot makes girl love you" and all the sex scenes to have no tension (MC will do whatever he wants whenever and if he likes a girl he "cant have" the plot will add new details allowing it

you want your adventures/fights to be "MC uses 1 spell party each uses 1 spell or attack" then come across months/a year(?) worth of pay (+ an illogical amount for the contract)

Further in the English deteriorates to the point that it can be harder for a native speaker to read than someone less fluent

I guess this game will have more nasty HS baby models than most in the future (which I assume is a positive?)

For Update 11c

Well, I don't rate too many stories/games on here for personal reasons, but I felt the need to finally rate this "Story" . (As I feel it's more of a story than "Game")

It has decent animations and stills.

It's fairly linear which is something I like really.

There's choices but I feel they are there to give some people a little bit of a feeling of involvement, more-so.

Honey Select characters, which is fine, but loses a star because of it. (Sorry)

I find the story fairly interesting.

Lots of intimate scenes so it feels like it belongs on this site for sure.

The updates seem to be fairly consistent with a decent amount of content with each.

Has some humor.

I enjoy magic and battles and this has that so that's why it gets 4 stars
If you enjoy that as well, I would definitely say to try this.

Anyway, I will follow this to see how it goes.

Even though I just checked it out because I'm fond of Magic Fantasy it's really good. Some parts are fast but as you hear about the world you understand why. The story is slowly starting to ramp up and after reading about what the dev has been up to about the game I'm looking forward to more.

It's a harem game with an emphasis on breeding. However, the dev has spent some effort on world building that allows for decent characters and story, even when the MC impregnates (almost) every worthy female he comes across. While relationships are forced, it didn't bother me, since they all felt appropriate to the story, but pickier players might be bothered by the lack of choice in this regard. There are other choices in the game, although it's hard to say how much of an effect these will have, but thus far they have given the feeling of having some agency in who the MC is even if the breeding isn't avoidable.

The writing is decent and while there are lots of characters, they all have some personality. The world and story are also interesting. The only thing that drags this down from 5 stars is the graphical solution. But even there, the dev uses the limited engine quite well to tell the story and present the characters.

If the writing stays consistent or even improves, I'll keep playing regardless of the graphics, and it might be a very smart choice to first concentrate on the story and then do a graphics remake if there seems to be a bigger audience to be gained. Right now the consistent and decently sized updates might be more important than trying to enhance the graphics which might mess the workflow. If the end result cashes in all the potential, this might be 5 star regardless of the graphics.

Started this game for the h scenes but actually found myself getting more and more into the story. I look forward to see what happens next I hope I don't have to wait to long. The only thing I wish they would add to this is sounds during the H scenes.

I kept wanting to rate it slightly lower due to some of the tech concerns, such as:

• the clonky, chunky renders
• the occasionally not so great English
• some of the OK but not fantastic animation work

...but I can't in good conscience rate it below a 5, because:

• the character development, even for newly introduced characters is fun and interesting
• the repopulation fetish is strong and pervasive in this one
• the story is good enough, with just enough there may be something else going on here vibes to keep me, well... wanting more when I hit end-of-content, and being pleasantly surprised every time I see that there's new content that I want to download and devour immediately...
• which is quite often, actually. the release cadence is fairly swift.

so, yeah - actually one of my favorite games on F95 right now.

One of my favorite games. Great lore, a great variety of LIs & people of various races & builds. Great story. I always want to know what happens next. The MC forms an adventurer's party that he goes on missions with, familiarizing himself with the world around him after he left a wizard's tower he was locked inside of until the beginning of the game.

Ok so while the renders are typical Ren'Py, the girls are cute and the animations are really good...the main reason i love this game so much is the writing. Loving the story so far. Oh and love the short stacks and the petites cannot wait for more. Awesome game!!

Pleasently suprised with playing this game.

First off this game is or at least in my opinion is very heavy on the dialogue and it's world building which can be a let down to some but if you enjoy reading and it's about an interesting setting then this is a game for you.

The game so far at Update 8b is fairly straightforward with the player not having a lot of choices to make and the one's we are given I am unsure of how big of an impact they actually have in the game since I didn't replay the game to test the differences. A large part of that is because of the game being very linear the game size so far is very big which is honestly a good thing in my opinion since a lot of games on here instead opts to add a ton of choices to the players but in turn the gameplay is often times cut very short or the development time is very long because each time they add a new part that part has to be made 3-5 on average to incorporate all the different choices the player has made.


Lastly while I do want the MC to bang most of the characters in the game, and I am hoping that a certain milf (and maybe another widow) will get the love and attention she deserves which her hubby can't give her. I really appreciate that the MC is actually someone fairly mature that doesn't just think with his D, though to be fair he does that a lot too but my point is there are actually women he's not putting his D in directly and actually seem to respect other male characters.

Didn't wanna talk to much about the game and it's story since it's pretty much the meat and bones here but I am looking forward to what will come out of this game.
