There's some inspiration from the show Altered Carbon, which has that sci-fi conscience storage/swapping/transmitting to new bodies of all types. It's also been done a million other times in other sci-fi media, but some of the game text and the first pages of this thread specifically talk about how it's dealt with in that show. To most people in that show, a new body is a huge shock that takes awhile to get used to. For a much smaller number of people, it's a very quick process without a lot of emotional baggage. Sammy is modeled off that second group who are able to quickly adjust to new bodies.

I've completed the Haven questline recently, and to be honest it was rather frustating. Most obvious downers were some bugs - i couldnt figure out the whole sprinklers thing and the game acted like i both had and had not any lighters and fuel, using the wrench on the pipes threw error screen every time.
And then gameplay issues where Sammy got raped during haven as a virigin and started what i can only descibe as a crash spiral. Pretty realistic i suppose, but not very fun when im forced to watch sammy down 3 beers in a row (still at 0 mood), pass out from alcohol abuse, go to the guy to get more beer, pass out from lack of sleep, proceed to down all her beers again etc until a mood debuff expired. Trough it all i could only do single steps before the game would take control away from me again to make sammy drink, whore for more beer or pass out. The debuffs from the rape and the alcohol abuse basically locked both rest and mood at 0, leaving me unable to act.
In the end i just collected 10 rumours by eavesdropping and walked out of the place, which im pretty sure is the most boring way to complete the mission.

- Added 3 Dani CGs and 4 Trixie CGs while working the pub
- Added a collection of mini events while working in the pub where you see what Dani and Trixie are getting up to
- Added a quest entry for Robin when she asks you to buy her slutty clothes
- Made it so you can buy Robins slutty clothes at the Funwear shop and from the needle girls in the academy in addition to the market
- Made it so that if you have discovered Robin enjoys watching or hearing stories, she will rarely turn up to the pub to watch Sammy work
- On rare occasions, if Robin went to the pub, she will end up in the motel with someone and not come home until really late
- Fixed issues with Robins slut event where Sammy would walk into the now removed hallway
- Fixed issue with Robins slut event where you would be able to see Robins background image while looking for her
- If Robin is still at the pub when you finish your work, she will offer to go home with you
- Greatly increases the chances of naughty bus events triggering if you travel with Robin and know she is a bus deviant
- A few days after offering Oskar sex for rent, Robin will approach Sammy telling her she got a similar offer.
- Robin will start having sex with Oskar for rent in the mornings once she has spoken to Sammy about it (No event yet, just BG art showing it)
- Changed Oskars office hours from 9-3 to 8-6 so you can easier meet with him before and after going to the academy
- Added Dani to the residential area courtyard with unique dialogue chain if you speak to her while there
- Updated loiter/hang around events so that if an NPC is around, Sammy might go and talk to that NPC
- Added talk chains with Dani where she asks about working in the pub. Some mini events trigger her to ask (if you have completed the 3rd dance quest event, you have to rely on lunch room rng for now to trigger)
- Added chain where Dani tells you she got the job at the pub. This only triggers if she has asked for the job but not actually started yet. (3 days between asking and starting)
- Mini events added when you start work if Dani has asked for a job, Trixie asks about her and meeting Dani for the first time while she is working there
- Fixed some of the bugs with character images during the troupe storyline. First 6? Events are fixed
- Updated Dani side sprite artwork
- Rachel and Svet now hang out at the school gym even when not dancing
- If the gloryhole has been made, Rachel will hang out in the toilets and sometimes occupy the gloryhole stall
- New BG characters added to the toilets including Rachel
- Characters added to the cafeteria. Rachel, Svet, Dani, Anabel and soccer boys
- Adjusted Robins schedule so she has lunch and will be in the cafeteria
- Added a new quest “A place to be alone” where Rachel asks you to show her how to get inside the academy at night
- Added new bg art for Rachel while she is hanging out at night in the gym
- Added new events for Rachel in the gym at night where you eventually catch her naked
- Added 4 new CGs to the dance troupe

Nice, I assume it can be switched on and off as desired? However, I think it could be interesting if instead of a toggle it was something we earn/work for by manually refusing payment for an extended period.

The way it works now.
Sell yourself 30 times = Whore trait
Having sex for free 40 times = Slut trait
Possible addition
Refuse payment 20-30 times in a row = free use trait
Doing it this way would have serious knock-on effects like drastically reducing your ability to make money. But it could also be a great way to push Sammy into the Casino/Stripper jobs.
I do not see any meaningful difference between Free Use and Slut. Anything that could be done with Free Use could be bundled into Slut, so having both is over-engineering the game. And the way I would do it is have Slut give the player the option to turn down payment for sex IF it's offered. Regardless if the player accepts or rejects payment, Sammy is going to have sex.
I think we're also going to have to eventually start considering letting perks be toggled on/off. Right now, perks are automatically added whether the player wants them or not. It might be better if perks are unlocked when conditions are met, but not activated until the player chooses, like how you have a choice to work with or without socks or underwear when working at the pub. After all, a person can do something, like anal sex, many times and still not enjoy it - and they keep doing it because their partner or customers like it.

Yeah it seems redundant currently. I'd get if maybe it like evolved from one to the other but not really having both.
But yes we do need a way to toggle traits on and off. It's so damn annoying to get a trait that fucks with gameplay and it's either stuck there until you basically do nothing but sleep away like a month in game, or just forever stuck there.
Even just a debug/cheat thing for now would be fine. I'd rather not have to fuck around with my save in an editor if not needed.
I was just trying to get Sammy pregnant, but I don't want the baby crazed Sammy. Honestly all the 'preference' traits really can fuck up gameplay so easily. Never thought I'd say that Newlife does something better but it does. You can have maternal or baby crazy or both, but you have to actually PICK them. Maybe do it kind of like how Lilith's Throne has the perk tree? You can unlock all the perks but besides like the starting perk, you can toggle them no or off at your leisure.

Technically could, but other than save scumming there's nothing stopping your Sammy from getting dragged into an alley and raped before you can build up the stats to prevent it. Or maybe getting too drunk while she's working at the bar and unavoidably turbo slutting it up for a night.
Also as ChesseKun said there's only one dedicated female LI so not really much content even if you are dodging dick successfully.
A better explanation is the option to play full lesbian exists, but it's not fully realized.
You can easily avoid being attacked by having a good confidence and fitness score. You can get a good fitness score well within the first three day if you have the gym bunny background. Confidence will take care of itself.
You never have to work at the pub if you don't want to. Working at the junkyard is more profitable anyways, which is exactly where the only current "lesbian" interest can be found.

Since she started off as a boy, I would like to see her as more a femboy, than a girl. Sexy as all hell, but still with tell-tailing signs of being a boy, (not sure how you do that). Loving the idea of becoming more feminine, but, still loving having been a boy and also getting used to being seen as a girl. Maybe, there should be an option to keep her dick, or have one surgically placed, but, still has to live as a girl. Since now she works for the agency and they need her to either be a girl, or act as a girl. She should also have some sexual romance with her actual sister, maybe mom or dad, or both, if they can find their way into the game.

Boy start usually doesn't get beginner traits by day 3. Besides that I've had my Sammy once get dragged into an alley the very first time she left her apartment building. I then save scummed and it happened again. Not getting raped before you get the chance to build her stats up enough to defend herself is really a matter of luck.
