Ren'Py - Abandoned - The Gift Reloaded [v0.08b] [Mrzz]

This was (and is) by far my favorite game on this site.
For about a year Mr.ZZ was on hiatus and his Patreon was shut down because of the incest content in this game. Yet if you look through the discussion pages you will find post after post continuing to talk about the game even for months after it had been officially listed as "abandoned."
So, now he's back. The previous version of the game has been reposted with the incest removed. We have word that he has a team of people working on the next two releases simultaneously. Everything looks like sunshine and roses, right?
Well, except that the incest has been removed. So, I started putting together a patch to put the incest back in. At first I was thinking I would just copy & paste the 2017 content, but as I was comparing that to the 2018 version I noticed a lot of improvements that casual players might overlook. This game wasn't just altered to remove incest, it was remastered with a new backstory and substantially improved dialogue. It isn't as dramatic as the jarringly obvious remasters we see in "modernizing" old films, but it is a subtle and thorough improvement over the original. There are still some glaring spelling errors and odd grammar choices, but for someone who has played this game as much as I have that seems charming.
This is a game that was worth talking about when the game seemed long dead, and is worth playing again now that it is alive again. I can't wait to see what comes next, but I am willing to wait for it.

This game has definitely got what it takes to make it to the top. The renders are great the story is super well thought out and after the remake it has become much more interesting than a normal harem game. If the doctor and his assistant can take a more proactive role in the game as antagonist I think it can take off more than it already has. My only detractor is that the game has content yet to be implemented that is already in the previous version. But other than that the remake makes me excited to see what’s next.

I will give rate 5/5 just to encourage the dev to continue this game.
Let me get into more deep in review.

I Played both version "The Gift 2.5" and "The Gift Reloaded version 0.04".
I can say "The Gift Reloaded 0.04" is way, way much better than "The Gift 2.5", adding incest fantasy (Mother and daughter) I was into the game every second the story it's great, I did not think I would like it the "mindcontrol stuff" it's not my type but in the end I enjoy this Game, it's few games that which attracted my attention and this is one of them. The art is good, it's not on the Level of DoD(Date of Daughter) but still really good.

Story is Basic linear you don't need a Walkthrough on this game, but it's good enough.
I need to mention that in that version "The Gift 2,5" story was not good, character not have personality like "TGR= The GIft Reload" TGR it's more good and deep in every character personality and this is a big plus.

The end of the game(this Version) feels really rushed and incomplete, just 2 lesser characters (the 2 Girls from the Office Clara's and Monique's) get imo great character development personality and corruption into having sex with you and becoming your slave.

The Sister and Mother also had great build up and story at the beginning but then later just randomly will be willing to have sex with you without any real build-up need more personality on this two characters later on game(avoiding begin boring at this time).

Other downside of this game is that the sex Scene animations aren't very good you need to add more angles scene not only 2 and try make sex scene animation more smoth to moves and facial expression of the characters need a bit adjust to feel that they enjoy have sex with you. (I talk to you dev if you see reviews)

I need to mention that I play "The Gift Reloaded v0.04 with MOD Avoiding NTR far more better without this "NTR" stuff but it's just my opinion.

I really hope you don't Abandoned this great game and continue to work on this trust me it will be more better.
I will trust on you to continue and don't disappoint us to leave this project.
This game is still 100% worth checking out and definitely I will re-play it when will be more content.

Very lack luster animations. Terribly blunt and too direct writing (with poor grammar). And I felt the main character is pathetic and annoying. It's not that you won't be able to jack off to it, it's that you'll have a better time spending you time playing another game.

"Fap per played time" only rates how good the game is at giving you a good FAP. Doesn't matter how good the art, gameplay, renders, model, Sound, writing, Story or anything like that is, if the game is good at giving you good and multiple faps in a decent amount of gametime, it will get a good rating, eles not. i rate games like this because in the end, i mainly play adult games for good faps...nothing eles

played through the game with the NTR mod. i checked the cg's and i think you only miss 3 renders by using the ntr mod (Spoiler: 2renders of Clara bj a Client, 1 render of your mum riding some other guy). but the mod will give you no ntr (duh) and imo better writing for some Scenarios. 100% recommend using the mod

so the game is onhold but the game has enough Content that it's worth playing. there are h-Scenes with Penetration for all 4 main Girls. and sex Scene with 1 side Girl(wife of Client). Girls that dont have h-Scenes are ceo, ceo daughter and "evil dr assistant".

overall great models. sister has to be one of the hottest 3d Girls out there atm. Overall art is good, it's not on the Level of DoD but still really good and above average. there isnt really much grind in the game. Story is Basic but good enough. ok writing. MC is good, funny at times and not too annoying and he doesnt act like a beta bitch. the game isnt too Long.

the end of the game (of the Version) feels really rushed. it sucks because the 2 lesser characters (the 2 Girls from the Office) get imo great character development and corruption into having sex with you and becoming your slave. the sis and mother also had great build up and story at the beginning, but then just rdmly will be willing to have sex with you without any real buildup(this is post mother BJ). but props to the dev that he add'ed their sex Scenes before pulling the plug (not like the gift (other game)). other downside of this game is that the sex Scene animations arent very good. they are good enough and have 2 angles, but arent even Close to the Animation of something like teachers pet.

even though there are some cons, this game is still 100% worth checking out. it's very fappable and fap friendly. good replay (refap) ability.

tried this game, Although the option seem very one directional the graphics are sloid and the story has me interested in follow versions. game is easy to play. went through this version in about a hour. the story can be somewhat predictable but still nice to play

0.3 short review:
One of my favorite renpy titles next to lab rats. Great story, charters, and gameplay (all for a porn game anyway). Awesome rendering\visuals as well. There's not to much else to say. If you like renpy games, and all the tag fetishes, you'll like this one.

I really like this game, both in terms of story and current contents.

Characters are well depicted and different to each other. As well as posing and animations (i've seen better but they are
more than enough for me).

The story is particular i'd say, the baseline is nothing very original but it has a good amount of twists and well written dialogues.

I'm not into the slavery/mind control subject but this game keeps it at a enjoyable level, as the girls are happy about their status and not just mindless toys.

Graphics: 8.5/10

Frustration factor: 0% (it's a linear game so far, but it is planned to become an open world game, so this vote may be subject to changes)

I'm rating this thread 5 out 5 because it provides me with one of my favorite games out there, it also updates the links and posts the news regarding the release date of the game or anything related to it, if threads like this don't deserve the maximum rating from a user like me then I don't know what else would be more deserving of it.
