Definitely seemed to be what I'd called a great prologue. Feel like that fits the pure definition of "trap". Will definitely be coming back to this one.

I want to sincerely thank everyone here. I swear, I never expected anyone to give me such support. Even my own parents never did it — they constantly tried to make me give up this “foolish” idea — could I even expect strangers to support me after that?
I never aimed to make even a single cent from my projects; I created them simply because I love doing it. I’ve never dreamed about wealth and luxury life — I still don’t. Money is just a tool for me — a way I can trade for free time.
I know my stories and the way I write them are far from perfect — I’m a total beginner in all of this. But here’s the truth: even if it’s not obvious, each of them carries a piece of me: my emotions, feelings and my personal message that matters to me — which I hope will reach someone who happens to discover my projects..
I want to keep improving in what I do, and I won’t stop as long as I can create. As long as I have opportunity and will.
P.S Currently, I've been making the prologue of the third novel for more than a week or two (on weekends, due to lack of time) and intend to complete it too.
After that, I'll either continue the ones I have or make another one.
My goal is simple here: to put more effort into whatever interests the audience the most.
However, the important thing is that I will NOT give up their development (which I cannot say about Trapped On) — I'm only doing this to attract more readers, because I'm just a beginner and don't know what people might actually be interested in.
So there’s no need to worry. My goal is to complete the story of each project — not to turn them into a cash cow.
Thanks to everyone who’s reading this. Your support matters to me more than you might realize. And I can say without hesitation: "You are my saviors I never expected to have!"

That dev message is really odd. "This stuff is totally important to me but really I'm just looking to make what's most popular".
... anyway, those "woe is me" protagonists are really annoying. Always feels very incel-ish. "It's not me, the world is so mean".
Setup is fine but given how super-short this is hard to say whether it's worth keeping an eye on.

I think dev did 2 games demos, put on site to see which got the biggest buzz and he can develop to get more supporters. I hope its not gonna be on hold really quick

Yes, because I have too many projects and I can't do them all at once. So why not choose the one that others like best? At the moment, I am ALREADY working on the third one. They are all valuable to me (except for Trapped On. It was just an experiment and I don't even want to read the reviews there because I don't care about it). All the ones that are not valuable to me have long been thrown in the trash~
As for the mc — he has a trauma, and it's not a minor or silly. He will change in the future, depending on the players' decisions in the game. I can't put everything into the prologue, can I? I wish I could...

What a miracle for the trap present in a game with a title like this to be the fact that the "girl" is a "trap", and not ntr conspiration or whatever.
Obviously, these are all random things I thought right now that maybe could answer your question. There are many more reasons that may exist, and each case is individual. What case is in this game, I don't know.
