I have found a different issue that is possibly connected. On page, like 3, when Goblins first came up as a keyword, I clicked it to read the lore entry and then hit Back, which took me back to the page I was on. All well and good so far. There is currently no way to export a save to disk - I will need to write a custom plugin for that. The issue is each chapter is technically a save slot, and I want to be able to just export and import them in bulk.
Seems like Read may be a bit wonky, but it's supposed to bring you back to the page you are currently reading. I have not witnessed it misfiring yet, so if you could demonstrate that in a screenshot or two I would fix that bug.
For better or worse this game basically uses a custom engine (built on top of Harlowe originally), so I can't use the standard Sugarcube features.
Part of this is because I find base Twine/Sugarcube ugly, part of it is I just wanted a coding challenge. Over the next few chapters I'll be trying to smooth out any glitches.
But then I clicked the Lore button, just to check and confirm that Goblins had been added to my list of lore options. It had, so I then clicked Back. This did not then take me to the page I was on, but the page prior to it in the main story.
So clearly the interaction between Lore pages and the Back button for the main story pages is acting strange.
